Hi everyone,
As you know, the Welcome Back Program is well underway and we hope you’ve already taken the time to get your two free games, but if you’re yearning for even more content, well – yearn no longer. Today we’re announcing all of the content coming to PlayStation Plus in two publishes on June 14 and 21.
As a reminder, PlayStation Plus works on a bi-weekly publish schedule, with the free games (PS3, PS one, and two PS minis) coming once a month to Plus. The next set of free games start on July 5, and will be announced in a June 22 post.
We also want to provide an update on the Sega Genesis Collection offers which we announced back in March. Due to the attack and subsequent outage the release schedule has changed for these. Take a look at the new schedule and be sure to take advantage of the free offers:

Free Games and DLC
As mentioned above, Streets of Rage 2 becomes available for free on the 14th as a part of the Sega Genesis Collection.
Huge Discounts
Launching tomorrow, June 9, look out for the new PlayStation Plus Welcome Back Special Offers category within the Plus page. This category will contain extra deals beyond our typical content offerings, so check often because new deals will be rotating in and out weekly through July 5. PlayStation Plus is offering the following PS3 titles, each for 50% of the regular store price on June 14: The Fancy Pants Adventures, Spare Parts, and MicroBot. Madden NFL Arcade is also available for 50% off, but that starts June 21.

So…there is still no news on the games that were supposed to be released in May? Particularly, Beyond Good and Evil. What, did the PSN outage simply render them impossible to be put up on the store now? I’m just going to assume at this point they simply aren’t coming out in the US. Way to keep your customers informed there, Sony.
i need help i cant download the 2 free games on welcome back i follow either step but it said “this content cannot be accessed on your account” and i dont know what to do
few things is cool to download. keep bringing on the genesis. im an old school gamer. i got the collection and the games on genesis already but hey they got there own set of trophys. gives me an excuse to play em again. streets of rage sucks just cant wait for comix zone. i wanna see some phantasy star or shining force. best 2 game series ever made. shining force beats final fantasy and whatever rpg games anyday.

I would like to echo the concerns mentioned previously about the release of Beyond Good and Evil HD. I’m so very close to going and buying an Xbox or PS2 just to play it. The release can only be avoided for so long, can’t it?

Are these misprints? Cuboid is currently on sale for Plus members for $3.99 and Smash Cars is on sale for $5.99. Why would they almost double the prices and call it a sale?

Really disappointed with plus, they are giving us, old game without trophy support. I dont think that I will renew my subscription. A big let down

@115 – all of these Sega Genesis vintage collection titles DO have trophy support. So far we’ve received both Sonic and Sonic 2, and both have trophies.

I have a question. Say i download some free minis only to ps+ users, will my game expire when my 30 days trial end???
Question I was under the impression that one only lost free games when PS+ expired, but does that include DLC downloaded while free as well?

Each game is now split up and has it’s own trophy list. To me this is very good. Adds to my 5000+ trophies.

I already got streets of rage 2 from the uk psn store last week and magic the gathering too.
not only the us store is getting things late, but they’re things not even announced here yet. I already downloaded the no more heroes and outland demos from the uk store and there’s no mention of that here
it seems you guys (sony) were not serious about the updates to the store. There was no official update last tuesday, no official update last thursday, and the ps+ updates are far behind than the ones of the UK store. I never paid for the ps+ because I never considered you offer anything of a good value, and now that I got it for free for 30 days (and due to this kind of updates) I can be sure that it doesn’t worth paying for it
you better wake up sony and start offering some good updates in the nex couple of days, cuz instead of catching up and making up the missing time, you look like slacking around and don’t worry to rebuild any customer fidelity

Quite honestly, I don’t like the Welcome Back package Playstation did. The selection of free games to pick from is extremely limited, and I have absolutely no interest in what they’re offering. And the idea of free Playstation Plus service for a short time rubs me the wrong way because I want to retain a game when the trial ends. Sorry Sony, but considering what you’re offering in light of how my personal data has been compromised, it’s not good enough.
I love classic sega games, but I can’t wait to get some real games for ps plus again, like shatter or stacking or even lead and gold. I know that ps plus updates all the time and the amount of free awesome games I’ve played has payed for it self and then some, just am sick of half asked minis and lilo and stitch. Lmao. I’m not of the plus members that hopped on the train witht he welcome back package so I’ve seen the goodness that comes with being a member, and I know they don’t want to give too amazing of games for free since every one has it for the next 30 days, I just need more meat on my plate for ps plus.
I’m grateful and love the service but we need better games more often and better deals on PSN exclusives like joe danger and the last guy, etc.
But can’t wait for the uncharted 3 MP beta! Going to own!
And when skyrim comes out, I won’t care at all what I get for free!

Wow, too many of you complain about online services that are still fairly new and unique to the gaming industry. When I was a kid, the consoles didn’t have online multiplayer and the internet was barely a twinkle on the radar… but PS+ is definately worth the money if you are a poor gamer and can’t afford the hundreds of $60 titles that hit the store shelves every year.

Sorry bro I didnt know I was a free loader. I thought I recieved ps plus because I bought a 350 dollar playstation that got hacked for 2 months and due to that I recieved complimentary service. I didnt know I was taking ur stuff!!! Ps plus blows and I already got the genisis collection anyway….. so kirkpad keep ur crappy games and updates half of us guys dont want the crap taking up our memory anyway
Im not hating on Sony tring to make a few bucks however if they wanted me 2 stick around they should have given out better games. I actually played oddworld and lilo and stitch. i am grateful but I just could not get into these games though…. From what it seems actual members are unhappy and I gave PS Plus a fair shot I like the discounts but thats about it…. PS plus needs to be more exclusive ….It needs to make me feel left out for not having….I should feel like I was left stone-age insted Im exonerated not to have

Still not pleased that our free PS3 games over the last couple months, including this one (Magic), continue to be games that have add-ons (this one has alot)…which are not on sale anytime soon thereafter and add trophies to our list that we can’t complete without purchasing add-ons. As a customer and plus member, I’m tired of seeing this. If you’re going to do that, just give us a bundle on sale to make it worthwhile and we can just forever keep the thing. Why would people venture to buy the add-on if the game is gonna go buh-bye after their subscription is up? Missing out on actual sales, but not my profit margin to stare at.

Any chance the Japanese PS1 Imports could go back on sale before the month is over? That was the main thing on PS+ that I have been drooling over and it got dropped before the free trial :/ I so want to try Cho Aniki.

I got in on the free 30 days with the welcome back promo and I am very glad it is free. Seriously what they are offering it nothing I would want in the first place or even consider buying but I will admit free is free. The discounted stuff is a joke and the whole game trial is equally a freaking joke. So I go through the hassle of downloading the entire game and get to play it for only 60 minutes????? Seriously…what a joke.
This is seriously not worth paying for.

When is the publish from 26 April per previous blog post (https://blog.playstation.com/2011/04/13/coming-to-playstation-plus-tom-clancys-rainbow-six-vegas-2-red-johnsons-chronicles-and-more/) going to happen? I’m looking forward to playing the free Alien Zombie Death Mini before deciding whether to purchase Alien Zombie Mega Death on PSN… Also, still wanting to play the free Crash Commando for us PlayStation Plus members that was to be in that publish before the network outage occurred.
