Assassin’s Creed Revelations at E3 2011

Hello PlayStation Assassins!

With the Electronic Entertainment Expo (or E3, for those in the know) wrapping up this week, we thought it might be nice to give you a quick round-up of the video content we’ve released for Assassin’s Creed Revelations. During the show, we’ve revealed a great many secrets surrounding ACR, detailing a wide variety of new gameplay features as well as delving deeper into the storyline of this essential piece of Ezio’s final adventure. We even had several multiplayer “pods” set up, both at our Ubisoft booth as well as at the Sony PlayStation booth, to enmesh show attendees in our innovative multiplayer (and show off a handful of the planned improvements we’re working on). So, without further ado, take a look below to see what Assassin’s Creed Revelations has in store!

This gorgeous trailer outlines the basic premise of Assassin’s Creed Revelations. During the trailer, we see Ezio travelling a great distance in order to reach Masyaf in the hopes of uncovering the secrets of Altair. When Ezio arrives, he is confronted by Templars… and the rest is in the video!

This video is the identical single-player walkthough that E3 attendees were able to see at the show! Demonstrating many new features in Assassin’s Creed Revelations, including upgraded Eagle Vision, Ezio’s new hook blade and the Greek Fire cannon, this walkthrough is intended to give you a tiny taste of the excitement and game mechanics you can expect from the game!

Following the traumatic events of Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, Desmond has a lot to figure out… so much, in fact, that he must take a journey deep into his subconscious. We’d like to say more, but it wouldn’t be much of a Teaser if we gave up all the secrets.

See you all again soon Assassins!
Gabe

  • Great__Cornholio

Xmas time is synonymous with Assassin’s Creed. The last two games have been released in November, and I played them right then and there. Modern Warfare is a game for the January time frame.

  • anyone want to gameshare their escalation with my first strike? if your interested just message me

  • WOW NICE!!! I had the first assassin’s creed and didn’t really like it much the second was ok But this One I think I can really get into I’m gonna try it out

  • what happened to new store updates every tuesday and friday? it is friday last time i checked.

  • IM GETTING THIS THE FIRST DAY IT COMES OUT FOR SURE!

  • One of my favorite series, beat all the games and I plan on getting this and MW3 when it comes out! I love the trailer and the song goes well with the trailer (Iron by Woodkid) feel free tooadd e [DELETED]

  • Wow they really did a great job with the CGI graphics it looks fantastic!

  • Does anybody else likes the song of the first Assassins Creed Revelations trailer I think it sounds pretty good.

  • NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTYYYYYYYYYYYYY……. JUst Waiting for the day that comes out to buy it…. Nd I Wonder WHo Is The Guy In White Assassin Clothes??

  • I still haven’t beaten AC2… lol and then I need to get ACB before I think about ACR :S One a year is too quick yo.

  • I’m pretty sad that exile journey is almost done. I had so much fun with the games and now they journey will be over. It’s like medal gear solid :D

  • One year isn’t too short when you make games as good as these. Can’t wait to play.

  • new moves n evrythng, dis game definetly gon b game of tha year. =)

  • As much as I love Ezio Auditore da Firenze, I cannot stress enough the fact that all Ubisoft seems to be doing is repeated games with Ezio as the main hero, yes I get he’s amazing, yes the public reacted well to his character…but he’s in his 50’s now in the game! Let the damn assassin retire in peace and get on with the plot from the ending of Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood (won’t spoil it for folks who haven’t finished it, but lets just say it’s a mind blower if you’ve played the game from AC1 to Brotherhood…)

Anyway! I was really actually hoping to see Desmond step up and become a “modern day assassin”, theres SO much Ubisoft can do with that! Yet they stick with Ezio and give us this whole other addition to an already extended storyline? Can’t say it isn’t a good idea though, expanding this game and making it into almost a series. Hell, they could probably do a motion picture with this! (besides the mini movies they had with Ezio’s father) It’s a great way to make money and as much as I feel like their just giving unnecessary plot additions, I’ll be buying this the second I can. I’m a dedicated AC fan, and I’ll be looking forward to what Ezio discovers at Masyaf.

  • To make a long story short, props for Ubisoft making us another fabulous Assassin’s Creed game, but just start working on making Desmond our bad ass main character with multiple ways to kill people and free roam in our modern age. (I mean, they gave us a small taste of what Desmond can do in AC2 and Brotherhood, let us see more!!!)

  • For a 50 year old guy, he’s quite strong, fast, flexible, and most of all a bad ass.

  • The music reminds me of the Godfather movie. Love it…can’t wait to play this. Just need to finish up AC:B now.

  • dam this game looks sick!

  • i see some ac revalations in my future

  • ….really not into the Assassin Creed series, but I really like the first trailer when he sees glimpses of Altair. Just feels like so many AC games have come out since I’ve seen Altair in one of these trailers.

  • …and the music to that first trailer is on the money

  • Where did u get that ezio avatar

  • Smoke bombs with infrared vision….. hmmmmmmmmmmm! maybe he’ll get a laser gun too! LOL

  • So whos enjoying escalation cause i sure am

  • this is so sad this is the last game with ezio but the reason why AC3 isnt out yet is because its been in production since the ending of AC2 and also the reason why they call it ACR or ACB is because Ubisoft says to them a new AC game has a different ancestor so in AC3 given the hints from ACB it will be about the US revolution. Also ACB was just to show off its multiplayer which i think is amazing and ACR is made by a small team so its sort of like Halo 3 odst and Halo reach while the reach was in production they released odst so people wouldnt get bored of Halo 3. But definately gonna buy this game lets see what ezio discovers at masyaf.

  • Oh my god that is awesome

    I can’t wait

  • im just have the brotherhood and i really likee the multiplayer and the single is nice, just update us with some multiplayer videos of the reveletions (:

  • I’m still confused, is this ACIII or a spin-off?

  • Love that song on the trailer:

Deep in the Ocean, dead and cast away
    Here innocences burn, in flames
A million mile from home, I’m walking ahead
I’m frozen to the bones, I am
A soldier on my own, I don’t know the way
I’m riding up the heights, of shame
I’m waiting for the call, the hand on the chest
I’m ready for the fight, and fate

The sound of iron shocks is stuck in my head,
The thunder of the drums, dictates
The rhythm of the falls, the number of deads
The rising of the horns, ahead
From the dawn of time to the end of days
I will have to run, away
I want to feel the pain and the bitter taste
Of the blood on my lips, again

This deadly burst of snow is burning my hands,
I’m frozen to the bones, I am
A million mile from home, I’m walking away
I can’t remind your eyes, your face

  • @79 (and everyone else with ismilar question):
    It’s sidestory/spinoff. it is NOT Assassisn’s Creed 3.

This will be the LAST in Ezio’s story.

PS- Preorder now (I think before July 8) and get upgraded to a Siganture Edition for free. First come first serve!
Also you may get a ACR poster at time of preorder :)

  • Completely amazing trailer, I’m in complete awe that Woodkid didn’t write his song for Ubisoft, the lyrics are all too fitting

  • Cool! Umm sony can you please get my account back. it got hacked and i dont know how to get it back. It was Br1anG11 and i really want it back.

    Please sony HELP ME!!!!

  • I just made this account yesterday.

  • game companies should make a video game called Call of Duty VS Transformers…..it would be awesome

  • it’s lookin good , I’m gonna add it 2 my collection as soon as i can XD

  • One of the few games that have come out every year since the first one that is actually GOOD. Not just the same rehashed crap every year like some games. *cough* Call of Duty *cough*

  • Add me on ps3: Astro-Skyquake

  • For me, the CGI trailer for Assassins Creed: Revelations was the best trailer of E3 2011. The music, the realistic movements of the characters in the trailer really outshines everything else shown at E3 this year.

Pumped my brain with so much hype i actually pre-ordered the game after i saw the trailer for 20th time in a row.

Ubisoft, i don’t know how you manage to create sequels upon sequels and keep improving for every new title but damnit i will never complain. Just keep on bringing these games and please, never … ever… let this franchise go.

  • epic teaser

  • This game looks really nice. Stunning graphics!!!!

  • I CANNOT WAIT! LOVE THESE GAMES!

  • looking forward to this!

  • I love this GAMEE!!!!

  • I’m looking forward of getting this game. Cant wait for the 4th one :)

  • Isn’t this AC4? Wasn’t Brotherhood AC3?

Anyway, I think Ubisoft won E3 this year. Don’t get me wrong, I’m no Ubisoft fanboy and I’m still mad at them for that crappy Via Domus (based on the tv show Lost) but I love the AC ip and oh, thanks, PSN for offering AC1 for $10, will get that soon. The trailer was the best I’ve ever seen for any game, probably because the soundtrack puts it over the top.

I’m going to cry like a little girl if they murder Ezio, even if he dies a “good death”.

By the way, is it just me or does the protagonist of Via Domus look exactly like Desmond Miles. Check it out. I was playing Via Domus and AC 2 around the same time and it was striking. Jus’ sayin’….

  • I like pizza

  • ANY NEWS ABOUT PSN HONG KONG? there’s been no update about when it should return! EU and US psn have been up and running for weeks now. E3 has passed and still no psn for hong kong….
