  • I am very dissappointed as well. I haven’t been able to download my games until today because have not been home. This is just another kick in the teeth from Sony after compromising all our security information.

  • PS Store United States error code 80550403 for some reason on PSP. Anyone else having this problem?

  • Ya Sony I’m very disappointed to that I was not adequetly notified that there was an expiry date
    for the welcome back. I checked for that and somehow missed it so I feel very misled.
    I downloaded 1 game and decided not to activate the other offers because I wanted time to think about it
    and did not recieve any general sense knoledge that there was an expiry date. I use my PS3 almost everyday of the week and there was nothing to notify me of expiry. So I don’t know who’s fault it is but I am feeling very
    misled. Why is there an expire on this offer when most of your expiry are for more then a year?
    Where was the expiry date noted?

  • i am also disappointed that there was such a short window for the welcome back program, i had not seen an expiration date in the email and i was not aware that i had to come online to this site to reactivate my account, so i had been patiently waiting and testing my login on my ps3 every week to no avail, i had a spare moment today to check to see if the network was indeed back online and that has led me to this point, with nothing to show for all the hassle :(

  • I can’t help but be bitter about the whole welcome back thing. I bought my PS3 right after the outage happened, not knowing about any of the problems. For several weeks I could not use my new console for many of the things I bought it for like Netflix. I was very disappointed that Sony did not extend the welcome to new buyers as well. (It’s not like I”m new to Playstation products, I have a PS1, PS2 and I used to have a PSP.) I like the PS3 and its games but Sony has made it very difficult for me to remain excited about my purchase and it leaves an overall negative feeling about the company and the way it treats its customers. Maybe time will heal.

    did u have a psn acc before outtage? games u downloaded n could not access during the outage? money in the psn store? ur info hacked? if not thats why u did not have access to the welcome back package. the welcome back package was not for psn being down.

  • the playstion network should have put a exp. dat in the email so we would know, but they didnt and a lot of us missed out. they should of let it go on for awhile longer it isnt our fault that there security wasnt as tight as it should have been. i cant believe that i missed out on the game and other stuff. the network needs to consider that we waited on them the could at least wait on all of us!

  • i just completed a survey about my customer service experience and it took them until after the expiration date for them to resolve my inability to log on. they offered me a voucher to pick two PS3 games and to have access to PSN Plus. i’m not ungrateful, but in my survey i told them that welcome back program should have been for at LEAST six months. i know people who switched to other systems because they were upset about what happened. also, how do you put a limit on all of the potential damage to a consumer because of possible identity theft………………….. color me: shortchanged and angry about it…………………………….

  • I also am saddened that the window was so short. My console was in the shop getting fixed during the redemption period. I just got it back yesterday and that’s the first I learned of a deadline. It wasn’t in my emails, on the website, or anywhere in the original announcements that I read. I’m going to keep pursuing this, as it shouldn’t cost them anything to enable two downloads to a long-standing customer.

  • It is really nice of Sony to giveaway 2 games…but I didn’t get 1…..I have an account and I’ve made several purchases but I didn’t get it…Is this bcoz my account is Indian…I dont understand why you people do this…the american store looks nice.it has videos…comics and cool games the indian store doesn’t have vids n comics….I paid for my PSP go…so why can’t I have one….this is the reason why people have fake accounts and starts hacking and stuff like that…People like me are willing to pay for stuff like the comics and videos……..I would appreciate if you gave me the access to get the two games i am supposed to get
