  • I know in the end it all evens out because you’re spending what you would on your subscription fee. But my main problem with it is this: We all used to get the same sale prices. Now some of us are “elite” and some of are nothing but a mere little piece of trash on the side of the road that leads to Sony.

And the reason I don’t have PS+ is simple: I don’t subscribe to nonsense.

  • No trophies or anything on this version

  • another week.. without a single retail game to sell… oh god… why is so difficult to put a single retail game on ps store to sell? Infamous 2 got on store when it was just launched … i dont get it.. there’s a lot of exclusive games, even the older ones that could be great to purchase on store

  • My Assassin’s Creed II also says it expires in March. Im kinda pissed about the Angry Birds too.

  • Solid-Snake-Eyes

A guy on Neogaf is confirming the new version of Angry Birds runs much smoother than the old one and is labeled version 2.02 vs the original being 1.03. He’s making a video. He says the save file of the old version is not compatible with the new version.

  • @148 that is your choice and I have no problem with that but I happen too like PS+ it has been great for me too saved me a bunch of money and gotten free games so all it matters to me is that I like it.

  • @152 I went too check on Neogaf site as well

  • only interested in vanguard,woot!

  • All of that is cool and thanks for the updated, but when are we going to get Parasite Eve 2?

  • Please give PS+ discounts for PS one imports again.

  • I’m loving the Motorstorm Apocalypse support! Keep it coming!

  • @128 mine say expire 2/1/12. I’m have to call tomorrow. I want to buy the game not rent it.. Assassin 1 is for keep. So if anyone who bought boarder land can see if the have expire date,

  • Rain Mortal Kombat DLC FTW!

Plus FREE Kitana and Jade Skins! Oh Yeah! Now were Talking!

  • The new version of Angry Birds on Minis is lying through its mouth. It’s using iOS pictures as being representative of its build quality (the resolution isn’t anywhere near PSP, nor should the PSP build have the touch style pause button), it mentions features Minis can’t have like; Facebook, Twitter, and Leaderboards (presumably online). The icon on the store is the exact same one that was published back in December, and there’s no mention on if this version includes all the DLC the other versions received. All we know is that there’s a bunch of lies, and that this version is now published by Rovio itself instead of Chillingo. <<< from neogaf site

  • Other than Limbo, pretty weak update imo. If I didn’t already have Borderlands GOTY edition, I’d say the bundle is a great deal.

And can you guys get on the ball with avatars? How about some Infamous avatars? This is the reason why I want the ability to upload avatars.

  • Thanks for the update. Some good sales I will take advantage of.

I am a little disappointed that there are not more PSOne games being added lately. There are still a ton of great classics for you guys to add.

  • Bought Limbo, really appreciate the Plus discount.

  • I´m not one of the unlucky guys affected by this angry birds fiasco. Buy if I were you I, would be demanding a full credit refund or the new download at no cost.

  • @165 I would too that is totally shady what Rozio is doing they owe people their money back

  • With LIMBO now available on PS3, I really don’t have an excuse to play Xbox. Thanks, Playdead!

  • @165 and others regarding Angry Birds credit
I’ve found that when you call into Sony customer service to complain about a download, they’re fairly receptive, but often don’t give refunds. If your customer service rep seems reluctant to help, ask to speak to someone who CAN help (floor manager).

Psht@this weeks update. I’ll wait until next week when El Shaddai comes out.

  • What’s the story with the republish of Angry Birds? Those of us who purchased the earlier version of the game received a version that had frequent slowdown and frame rate degradation, particularly on the later levels. Now a newly “patched” version is available (which supposedly runs MUCH smoother), and early adopters are rewarded for their support by being asked to pay for the game all over again?

    Sorry, but that’s unacceptable!

  • What’s wrong with Limbo’s audio? I tried the demo in plans of purchasing the full game, but the audio is horrible. It’s not true dolby 5.1 surround; and I have to crank the volume all the way up to listen to what little audio the game has.

  • @170, there’s no game music in Limbo, only sound effects in basic stereo (from what I’ve experienced, that is)

  • ARG! My PS+ subscription just ended a few days ago… and now LIMBO 20% OFF?

    MY life sucks!

  • @172 If that’s the defining feature of your life sucking, you have major problems bro. :P

  • mass effect 2 avatars please ! and some themes

  • Sweet, War of the Lions will be mine for the third time.
Also, why no file sizes on the psn store? If it wasn’t for the blog, I wouldn’t know that the borderlands complete package was 7+GB unless I bought it. Come on Sony, it can’t be THAT hard to add file sizes for all download files.

    Make it Happen.

  • I’d love to buy a ton of stuff, heck i’d even buy a Playstation Plus membership after my free trial expires….but can’t because of the damn IP BLOCKing implemented on the PSN store and credit cards. I cannot purchase anything…what a waste of a system.

  • @171, thanks I figured as much. No buy for me then. Not gonna spend $15.00 on a 2 year old game that I cannot use the full capabilties of my system.

  • Borderlands Full Bundle (PlayStation Plus price $14.99 –

    a $60 value >>> It’s not.

    http://www.amazon.com/Borderlands-Playstation-3/dp/B000WMEEBM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1311119840&sr=8-1

  • I bought Limbo thanks to the Plus Discount……Does anyone know what the secret was they talked about in the blog post a few weeks ago?

  • why hasn’t there been anything about Catherine on the PS blog :S ?

  • Ok why isnt the network letting me put my card into my wallet I keep clicking yes and it stalls out then an error code pops up

  • @177
It’s 2 years old? I thought it came out on XBLA last summer, 2010…Regardless, I’m going to wait until the price drops more. $11.99 is still too much for that game, IMO

    @180
Store traffic may be making adding funds or downloading games time out. You may want to check your email to make sure you aren’t adding funds to your wallet multiple times….that’d suck big time

  • Limbo was awesome! would’ve liked to see a summer sale on PSP games since the Vita is on its way anyway. a PS + sale on MK add ons would be great too.

  • @179

If I am not mistaken, I think there was a blog post about Catherine by Atlus a few days ago, try typing Catherine in the search bar.

  • Finally, the Duodecim DLC’s!

  • @159 my Borderlands has an expire date on it also…it’s a year away but this isn’t a rental. So I’m contacting them as well.

  • Finally! I’ll get FF Tactics!!

  • @182 the borderlands on psn store has the all the DLC for 14.99 which is worth 20 dollars unlike the regular version you had the link too amazon too 36.99 is the cheapeast for GOTY edition so your saving over 20 dollars getting the PSN version.

  • Can’t log on psn error 80710a06 anyone else ?

  • @193 no problems with PSN for me thats usually a error code you get when their is PSN maintenance

  • @151 First of all, when you people heard about PS+ you acted as if it was a joke. Now you’re complaining about why you don’t get the same prices as those individuals who actually took advantage of the deal . Look you didn’t want to pay the $50 dollars a year? Then don’t whine when PS+ users get all the good [DELETED]. Sony’s already losing enough money to make things better for YOU. Just be grateful that online pay doesn’t require a fee.

  • @163 No expire date. It’s yours to keep forever :)

  • @195 He is just a whiny cry baby best too just ignore him until he learns how too use his brain

  • for the borderlands bundle would the dlc downloads be separate from the whole game download?

  • @198 great question I’m not sure about that either im thinking of purchasing the bundle myself

  • @ 180 use a psn card have u tried that. also call customer support or hit them a note online
@ 149 . those neo go games are worth $100+ or more on the market so getting them for 10-15$ is cheap. Trust me on that one…

I dont know about the angry bird thing thats going on. I nevr buy any popluar pc games or iphone games they dont carry over right most of them.. I tend to shy away from them. But if your looking for a good mini/psp game go buy young thor. That game is so dam good!!

Also there was preview of sega rally on g4.. ohh man I really need to pick it up .,

    Mcbuttz78
    vp-psn legionairre group

  • yea cuhz i think its so much faster to download the dlc first and then download the whole game last then downloading it all together so i will know how much memory space i have left and delete game stuff that i dont play anymore for more room to download
