  • @ 88 its cheaper than the store would charge trust me on that. they would charge you 25$ for most of this stuff you get for 3-10$ but cod is the highest dlc on psn .. I think..

psn is doing a very good job of having sales for everyone. it was the psn cummunity/ psn legionairre group idea along with alot long time faithfuls to better psn to do this for the psn store. Before there no sales at all and prices where much higher… We got the store to update on bettr day for everyone.

  • Move.me ????

  • @mcbuttz78,

Yes, there are sales on PSP, but nothing new released, my specific posting was that there wasn’t a PSP item published this week, save for Pulse.

The ramp up to the new system should be paved with gold, and at least a few PSP digital releases to include PS1 classics. I know they want people to but the Vita and Vita games. I’m just saying that I see the PSP digital and UMD games and how they are being treated with life in the PSP and know I don’t want anything to do with the Vita.

  • facepalm.jpg
It’s free with the season pass

  • o wow! I been waiting 4 Back To The Future: Episode 5 for the past 2 weeks. I cant w8. the Back To The Future series is my top 3 favs on ps3. I thought it was gonna take a long time to b released.

  • @97. they just send it sony.. So either way it goes back to sony. I dont know about Gs pricing.. I think its the same.. The cheapease one i saw was “ps3 reapirman.com” 89 with about 4-6 day get your game back service they charge about 90 $ or 100. so it stillgoing to about 100$ where ever you go.

Sony will give you a newer console if your cant be fixed.. But thats your call you dont have to if you dont want to ..

  • @88

I’m not agreeing with “BleedzOrange”, but publishers are the ones that set the prices. Need somebody to blame for the overpriced DLC, yell at the publishers. That is why DLC on xbl, psn, and steam are all at the same price. (I’m sure you know that already)

  • What’s with the $1 price hike on the Test Yourself DLC? That’s odd. Just last week, the additional content was announced, with today as the release date, for $1.99. I’m not the type to gripe on here, but that’s odd.

  • w8 a minute… its free 2?! woww thankx alot sony! it is so on

  • This update is lame

  • @McButtz:

You say they are doing well, by pushing sales, but honestly the sales more often then not (with the exceptions such as Borderlands) are just mediocore at best, and are either too short, or leaving you feeling why they bothered in the first place. I don’t mind “fire” sales where they are very limited and timed (again such as Borderlands), but honestly most of the sales involves games either that are not selling at all, or games Sony can afford to put on sale due to making black already or have already made profit back.

The PlayStation Network is not infantile anymore. Far from it now, and again while I don’t expect “fireworks” every week I do, expect quality, and obviously so, do many other consumers and PlayStation users. It’s not hard to do. It just feels half done. I don’t think they have much more to do, make these updates better. Just need an extra “umph” so, to speak. Especially involving public relations.

  • Here is a list of PS1 classics that NEED to be put on the US store. If im missing any feel free to update this list.

Brave Fencer Musashi Breath of Fire III & Breath of Fire IV Bushido Blade & Bushido Blade 2 Chrono Cross Ehrgeiz Einhänder Final Fantasy Origins (FF1 & FF2) Final Fantasy Anthology (FF5 & FF6) Tobal No. 1 & Tobal 2 – (JP imports) Front Mission 1st & Front Mission 2 (JP Imports) Gran Turismo & Gran Turismo 2 SaGa Frontier & SaGa Frontier 2 Parasite Eve II Megaman Legends & Megaman Legends 2 Dragon Warrior (Quest) VII Megaman 8, Megaman X4, Megaman X5, Megaman X6 The Legend of Dragoon Legend of Legaia MediEvil 2 Snatcher Policenauts (JP imports) Strider 2 Suikoden II Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together (ps1) Tales of Destiny Tales of Eternia Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 Twisted Metal III & Twisted Metal IV Valkyrie Profile

  • @ 102 i understand your point. psp dont have alot of psn sales. but they do have like 150 something odd psp games in psn store. Alot of old time fav’s are already in the store. One thing we can do is ask them to do is put hem on sale as well more often than not. 1 psp game from store on sale would keep thing flowing all year.

As far as new psp games every week,?? I really cant answer why they’re not in up more often than not. Im not sony employee just big fan of sony. ALl i can suggest is evry one to ask for psp sales from the store. Proper publicty if you will.

    ur a loser bud! :)

  • @ 110 , Well its biig freaking step up from when psn 1st started off . you would surprised if got 5 games to dl a night.(lol) . To see this much content is better thn seeing what it use to be. yes it could do better , thats why alot of long time fatihful like myself are here every day giving advice to psn staff about stuff ..

Yes i agree alot good games need to be on sale and some need more sale publicity and psn can do those thing on higher scale evry week . i agree with you 100% .. It wont be over night or 1 week it takes time. They made alot good changes so far, and I hope they make even more in such matter of concern for psn and psp/ps3 games in general.

  • So, can anyone give me a straight answer: Will the US version of Final Fantasy 13 be getting the Easy mode patch or not?

  • I also have an issue with error 80029563, but mine is with dragon age 2 legacy dlc. After making my purchases, the dlc appeared as a 8478kb data and when i try to install it, it gets to 14% before it gives me the error. I checked my dl list and the dlc appears there as a 641mb file instead of the original 8478kb file. Any idea what this 8478kb is (other than error 80029563)? Thanks.

  • theXsilentXchild

Not To Shabby Today! First i picked up my copy of Catherine. Cant wait to play it. Still been having lots of fun with the previous deals we have had. Love burnout and boarderlands. Got episode 5 of back to the future. got some funky lab rat dlc for free. I bought the game for 3 bucks on the last sales. Thinking about picking up some of the THQ deals. I want the Stacking dlc and maybe Red Faction. Awesome few weeks in gaming for me! keep it up Playstation,

  • @122 tobal 2 was in the store like 2-3 yrs ago they took it down. Alot great japenese games where inthe store a few yrs ago. None ever bought em much. Me personally I fight very hard for japanese import on psn and ps3. I honestly think its the key to sucess for ps3 and psp, jprgs are very sucess full. japenese games are very good and can sell. Just becuase they dont have american fan base dont mean its a weak tile.

Monster hunter franchise didnt have american fanbase either to start.. we begged sony for years to bring it over and its the best selling psp game of all time over 3million psp gamers have it .. Personoa as well, demon soul has 500k -1 million player base here in usa it started with none.

@121 how did u comment to me in the future?

  • I have to admit I’m frustrated that we haven’t seen any DW Gundam 3 DLC yet. Usually I don’t mind games that take a while to release content but in this case the content for the game started being released 2 weeks ago on the XMB but there’s nothing in the PS store and no explanation.

  • ez_____ez_____ez

    AND STILL NO MLB AVATARS…………

  • Going to be a boring week. I was hoping for something to play with, but it sure didn’t happen this week.

  • Where are Final Fantasy V and VI??? I´m waiting for those a long time ago… it´s in the other stores… why not here!!!!!! :(

  • When do they update the Video section of the PSN store?

  • They need inFAMOUS2 Avatars :D

  • oh what? still no Parasite Eve II? and where’s Galaga Legions DX?
If I had the HDD space, Red Faction: Guerrilla would be an awesome purchase

  • Where are the PS One classics?

  • @121. well i dont know.. but we can split the rights to fame for it. before jeff and sid come try to steal it.. :)

  • @ 127 tomarrow or thursday i think,, @129 those comeout next week, check the pulse video that came out today it should talk about hose same exact games

  • Sony most really not want to make any money. They released the “welcome back” games that were all already owned by at least 70% of PS3 owners. Still have not had any classic PSone titles released in over a month now. All I want is Parasite Eve 2, Legend of Dragoon, and Legend of Legaia. The Final Fantasy’s would be awesome as well. Is that too much to ask of a company that is “all about pleasing our fans”?

  • has there even the slightest bit of news on Hydrophobia Prophocey

  • Where is all the PS1 games?! like Parasite Eve 2?! and so on….

  • Don’t you love it when there’s great deals but you have no source of income to purchase them?

  • I thought Crash Commando was going to be free this week…

  • What the… where’s Warhammer 40.000: KILL TEAM??????!!!!!! wasn’t that thing being released today?!?!

  • Ok update I guess.

  • Just bought Section 8: Prejudice, hope I’m not yet late for the first 1000. :(

    Btw, nice updates. Thanks Sony!

  • @86 there is always a bunch of whiners no matter how good a update is they will find a way too complain about something being negative a lot is normal for them

  • Well, honestly, mcbuttz78, I am glad that you are here trying to voice advice, and constructive criticism. Because, I hope more and more consumers see it and learn to speak up. So, you definently have my thanks there and I am glad that we see eye to eye on a number of points/issues. Keep fighting the good fight. I’ve seen you around here a lot, and I hope to see you for a long time to come.

I just really hope Sony decides (and wants) to keep pushing for quality of exelence. It’s one of the biggest reasons since the beginning that I continue to support their products. It just sucks knowing that it could be better now then it is and that they allow it to slip at times like it is.

    — (Continued in next post) —

  • — (continued from previous post) —

As for downloadable digital content pricing. Again. They may not make the prices, but they do, have say and a voice. Infact they are probably one of the best mediums for us consumers to voice our complaints. It’s not like the product is just “magically” appearing onto the store. It’s not. It has to be reviewed, and approved first. Sony always reserves such rights. The problem is they know that people will continue to buy such over priced products. Steve Jobs, proved this with Apple over the last half decade (especially him.) It’s just excuses now when people say it’s all the developers, or publishers fault. Especially considering a majority of consumers are to blame as well.

I’m done fighting though. Keep up the awsome work, mcbuttz78.

  • Weak week.

  • Where is Final Fantasy 5 and 6!!!!!!

  • I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks that the only thing worthwhile is the No More Heros demo.

  • move.me????????????

I actually think there are reasons–however few—to sync a PC with the XBOX 360 Kinect. I see no reason for the move.

Perhaps Sony is out of ideas for the motion controller and is now asking us to pay $100 to build something worthwhile.

Proud owner of the move. Love the Sharpshooter. I wish Sony would support it more (on the PS3).
