Well this is a crappy Plus update for me at least. Already own Crash Commandos, Destruction Derby 1 is cool but won’t download because 2 was just so much better, and minis are garbage like always. Oh well can’t blame Sony for me buying games. Maybe next month I’ll get something I don’t have.
I may pick up Galaga and WarHammer after I play the demos. Hopefully they’re worth it. I may also get Auditorium since it’s $5. The LBP stuff I’ll pick up later. Nothing else worth getting for me.

I’m having trouble with Installing Brink DLC it gets to 14% then it stops and unable to do the rest

Horrible sales week. I’m not even sure there is anything for me to buy this week. Keep going through the store and the things I would get are (surprise..) overpriced, so waiting on sales. Not getting Crash Commando. Not getting these rented (oh, sorry, “free” games) when there is available DLC that’s not included nor discounted that would put one at a disadvantage in playing online and/or with trophies. Got burned with Magic ’11 and not happening again.
Maybe I’ll download that Scarygirl mini for my sons. *shrug* Although I keep getting them these free minis and they never seem to either play them or play them very long.
If that was the Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition for download I would’ve jumped on it. But I wouldn’t pay $29.99 for just Dragon Age Origins which I could get for less almost anywhere new, not to mention Ultimate Edition with all the expansions is only $27.99. It was the only thing I was looking forward to and it was disappointing :/

Read the comment about the PS1 classics coming soon. With such a wealth of PS1 games to choose from I thought we would be seeing more lately.
Keep the sales coming, I have been snatching up many games that I wouldn’t have because of the regular price point.
Let me retract that last comment about crash commando…though while not on sale, the DLC does have a bundle pack….so that’s good at least. :)

Another week without anything for the psp (sorry i dont count mini) with the Vita coming out soon why not get a hold of some great games still not available on the psn for psp? it couldnt really hurt you guys could it? i mean where is Crisis Core, and Final Fantasy 1+2? or other games for that matter?
Dragon Age Origins “standard edition”: 30 bucks? Seriously guys? The game is what, 2 years old? I was kinda waiting for this release because i though it was going to be Ultimate edition AT LEAST. I mean, i’m all pro-buying full releases on the Store, but this is almost a bad joke. Buying this 30 ripp-off and buying the DLC could amount to a crazy 100 dollars TOTAL purchase.

I have not ever played a Warhammer game, so I wil also be taking a long playthrough of the demo tonight gamers.
Free DLC is like finding a diamond in the desert, so everyone that has purchaced Brink, be sure to get that Free Brink DLC.
Im not extremely happy with the Psp offerings this week, but 3 games are better than none I guess. Im still waiting for some real heavy hitters like, Ape Escape, Legand of Dragoon, Rival Scools, Chrono Trigga and Klonoa. Comon sony, lets make that happen.
Looking around for the bright spot in this weeks update and it obvious that the Ps+ are the clear winners.
My only side gripe is the rising trend of paid DLC we are having to purchase every week. I now that this is the way developers are focusing on making their money back, but most of this stuff needs to be packed in with the game, especialy when we are paying $60 for retail games.
With all said and done, this weeks PSN update gets a bounce back week on 3/5.

Nice to finally see a sale on Auditorium… Will be picking that up immediately. Also to any PS+ subscribers that don’t have Crash Commando, I’d recommend downloading that as well. Great game, and you can’t go wrong with the price.
The ‘Athena’ Mini won’t download. On my PS3 it failed and on my PSP it just gets hung up at 3%.
Anyone else have this problem?

What happened to the promised free Sega Genesis Collection games for Plus? Comix Zone was supposed to be free last month in July and Altered Beast was supposed to be free for Plus this month. There was a post on this blog that Comix Zone would be available July 5 – August 2 and Altered Beast would be available August 2 – August 30.
Cloud saves should be available to all PS3 owners, especially for those of us with older model PS3s that have to worry about YLoD happening at any time. Making us pay to access cloud saves we used during the free 30 days and having them deleted in 6 months if we don’t pay makes it seem like our saves are being held hostage.
I played warhammer 40k it was fun but should have had more to it we need more FF games on the store!! With trophies

So, has anyone gotten the message from Sony that they received the free copy of Section 8? Just wondering when people are supposed to start getting those out. Yeah, at the price these LBP DLCs command, from costumes to level kits, I’m not really interested in dropping any cash on level kits that can’t be bothered to be sophisticated enough to warrant trophy support.

PSN + is worthless and not worth keeping! It’s just a way to take money from us and offer no real reward for the switch!

Just because you suck at a game doesn’t make it bad. Crash commando is freakin’ awesome. Play bootcamp solo for awhile until you get the hang of the jetpack and weapons. Best multiplayer on PSN. Goto crashcommando.net if you need help.
If you’re a crash commando n00b, you’ll die a lot early. But if you stick with it, you’ll get the hang of it and soon you’ll be pulling off the awesome and satisfying killlshots. This game rewards perseverence in spades.
Can you tell I love this game? If it’s not your thing, that’s cool, it’s free for + so what do you have to lose besides hours and hours of your life playing online.
