are u kidding me sony, since that update, i cant sign into playstation network on my ps3, and please only make plus subscriber updates for plus subscribers only, i dont wanna wait for the update if its nothing i can use

cant log in, except by computer, i guess playstation is now trying to turn their company into a chat website for computers, no one i know can sign in either!!!!!!!!!!!! guys who complain about sony, just switch to xbox 360 cause there is never problems with it, especialy the xbox slim!!!!

@zxAS there is issue with xbox, I left to get a playstation 3 due to server limitations, boots and live going down more often. Consider the payment to use it. PSN is better, still has a great community just annoying when it’s down when you want to use it :p

Iv compared the two consoles in my house for a while and found that i enjoy the community interface with the xbox more. but whatever, everyone has there own opinion. I do enjoy god of war for ps3. but u play the game once and u dont play it again. trials hd, beat hazard, and hexic hd for the xbox only, not to mention all the amazeing indie games and arcade games, those i never find myself getting board with :p

The PlayStation Network is currently experiencing an unplanned outage on Wednesday, September 21, 2011. Along with not being able to log in to the PSN, you may receive error code 8002A543 or 8002A548.

I just updated my ps3 today and now I can’t sign in. What’s the problem? Why can’t I sign in?
hope this will sort my connection problems out ! ever since PSN outage my ps3 wont connect unless i restart my ps3 or i do a connection test !
Just relax you guys…For those who are complaining than just go sell your PS3 and stop crying in the forums. But for those who are loyal to Sony than hey we might as well just wait it out until they get the network back up and running. We made it through that first outage why can’t we make it through a few days at the most?

It was written in capitals in the new T&C’s, its not me shouting ;)
What that says to me is. If Sony get any type of hacking, breach of security, loss of data or any other such thing that they should protect us as users for. They will not be liable and we agree that we will not prosecute!
To me this is a clear message. We can not guarantee you personal details, therefore we do not want to be liable. I love my PS3, but if you want me to agree to the above. Allow me to pay via alternative means and allow me access to go online via other means. With a supplier that will protect my data and give me assurances of such!
Now in the UK I am currently reviewing some Data Protection Act (DPA) legal stuff as I think we are protected under this DPA agreement. What worries me is that a company as large as Sony, believes that they can ask this of their customers. Even if it is not binding in the UK. The precedent is set.
Please feel free to correct me if I have this wrong. To be clear. Look into this from other regions. Americans are not happy. And have a get out clause!, at present though if you use it you may loss access to PSN! If this is wrong then SONY should put out a comm to all users (you have our email), as to what this means. To many people except the T&C’s without reading them. HOW MANY DID NOT READ THIS!!!!!

All these updates..AND THEY STILL GET HACKED TWO DAYS LATER!!!! unscheduled maintenance my butt. Here we go again of a LONG LONG LONG LONG LONG Wait till we get to use online servies. We pay ALOT of money..and I mean ALOT for these services. Don’t remember these many emotes? By any means seems it’s alot stable than before. Can appreciate an update here and there. At least they are taking care of there customers by keeping up on their firmware.

This lame firmware downgrade is as useless as the trolls defending it. Does it add to “system stability”? obviously not. Does it add anything asked for by anyone? thats a big NO. The only thing it does show is the outright unprofessionalism of Eric Lempel & his team. And to anyone else reading the blog who hasn’t written sony to opt out of their unethical “no lawsuit” clause in part 15 should do so now.
Erm…. Since the previous update, my ps3 has been locking up on me. Now It’s gotten worse. I thought It was just a minor freeze or just a buggy game at first, but it stays frozen for an hour+ and on my older games as well. & It happens at random whether I’m playing for 5 min or 2-3 hours.
Anyway that’s the stability I’d like to see improved…

I’ve just done the update and my ps3 controllers aren’t syncing anymore. They were working before the update. I also have troubleshooted them and no avail.
Damn you Sony… What have you done to our PS3s?! They get slower and slower every update. Now I can’t watch embedded Youtube videos from any site through the browser. My PS3 hangs every time!
I installed the new update signed in, and the PS3 turned off by itself. I turned it back on and, green, yellow, blinking red. Had to send my system to Sony for repair. Just wondering…is this how Sony is going to recoop their loses from the hack? I’ve read posts by others who have had the same issues as I have since installing the update, so it’s not just me.
