We’re just about a month away from the launch of UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception and I’m sure everyone’s craving a Taste for Adventure. Yes, I just said that. How is it a few hours away if the promotion doesn’t start until tomorrow? I went to subway a few mins ago and they wouldn’t sell me one, I asked if I could have one since it was only a few hours until “tomorrow” and nope nothing. BS if you ask me. I wanted to hop online tonight, but nope.
Well, I’ll just keep this brief and simple. Thank you, for atleast finally giving “us” a confirmed date on when we may expect to see our rewards from the beta released to us. For today I’ll just thank you, and give you a thumbs up of aproval and a “good job” NaughtyDog.
Worst start to any official gaming promotion ever. Seriously. I don’t even care who was in the wrong here anymore, I just rated this thread one square because somebody had to feel my smoldering wrath. At least I won’t look like a complete fool when I walk into Subway tomorrow.
Just TERRIBLE. Let’s hope it takes off for you guys, though, because I love this game and series so very much.
The folks working at my local Subway don’t seem to know anything about this.
Wait we have to buy from Subway in order to play it? Yeah, but no thanks. I don’t eat subway, I don’t like it. So that means I can’t like Uncharted 3 muliplayer either? Nice. Will it be available to regular Playstation Network? Not just the Subway customers? I’m not going out of my way for a sandwich.
I’m sure that it’s liable to fall under “participating” Subway resturants. Meaning that even in America you may or may not be able to participate in this if the Subway’s in your area are not participating. Of course that is just a hunch. Otherwise you’ll just have to wait till tuesday or thursday when they get their shipments in for you to participate in this event.

Thank you for unbalancing the game for the rest when the game launches November 1. Nothing more like going online with a new game to have everyone else be top level rank and know all the maps. We do really appreciate that Sony.

This SUX! They launch it when the BF3 beta is still going on! Then the full game will launch a week right after BF3 comes out! WTF!!!
I played the MP, my first round i get put in a room full of 14+ ranked players. The MP is total crap. You stand no chance. I cant see why they would let some people keep the rank, while others cant even play it. Major Major Fail.
I did not believe, but now I do. Went and got me a drink real quick and DLing as I type. Very cool and Thank You!!!!

I love Uncharted and can’t wait for number 3 but i do think it is unfair that the rest of the world apart from usa will be a month behind on levels. I’m not the best at multiplayer and need all the help i can get. so come on ps give the rest of us a chance.

So basically tomorrow i go to Subway and get this Cup with the code and i will be able to play the Multiplayer and my rank will not reset when the official game releases on November 1st. If this is so than this is a nice offer and i will be going to Subway tomorrow.

Sony/Naughty Dog should make a way for Canadians and Europe to get into this event.
I would rather not have to beg American friends for codes, just so I can “keep up with the heard” and not get completely owned on release date.
If EVERYONE had a chance at this, I would be okay with it… but it being US only and it has this much effect on the flow of the game on release date really annoys me.
they need to make a multiplayer experience like they would a Raid event in World of Warcraft… you and a band of friends/Playstation buddies go in to tackle a particular locale together… thatd be more fun to me than just running around gunning each other down or trying to capture someone’s flag… otherwise, multiplayer games just aren’t for me… hope everyone who gets in, enjoys their time… i’ll just be waiting on the game’s main campaign once it rolls down the plank…

Thanks Naughty Dog! I played for a couple hours and had a blast! I already leveled up to 12 or 13, don’t remember exactly (I played UC2 A LOT, which has translated over pretty nicely in terms of game mechanics). Loving pretty much everything about the MP right now. I think it would be awesome to be able to play some of the more popular UC2 maps with the new game mechanics (i.e. sprint). The one thing I have notice, and maybe its in my head, is that it takes approximately 1 or 2 more bullets to take someone out using the AK47 than in UC2. I only say that because I was used to instinctively knowing when to stop shooting at someone and be able to pan around to the next victim from UC2 experience; but I find myself sometimes leaving a guy ALMOST dead instead of hearing that blissful chime indicating a kill.
Was the AK nerfed a bit in this multi-player? or am I making things up here? Heck it may even come down to internet connections but I never felt that in UC2.
Oh, and for those that are thinking that some Subways are not participating: I e-mailed the corporate Subway folks and they got back to me saying that EVERY FRANCHISE is participating! It just seems that proper instructions were not sent out with the advertising materials. For example, when I got my cup with the code, my sandwich was also supposed to have a sticker with another code as well as my sun chips, but the dude at the register was completely ignorant to that fact. He basically looked back at the PROMO sign, sighed, and said he really didn’t what was going on. Apparently the manager at this branch is horrible at keeping up with promos (the day before I had called to inquire about the PROMO and the manager said he had absolutely no clue what I was talking about–along with the 4 other Subways in my town)

How is being at a disadvantage any different from if you decide to buy the game some months down the line or even a couple weeks later? Here’s a thought. PLAY FOR FUN. Or if you do play to win and this bothers you that much, then either go to Subway or buy the game when you want and quit yer whinin. God, five year olds in here.

I went to subway yesterday and they had no clue. I told them it started soon(the next day…) and they said”We didn’t hear anything about that” @50 was Killzone in on that too? The other subway promo. Well anyway im buying my 30 ounce drink!!! Less than $2 for Uncharted 3 multiplayer for a month, thats…… the best deal ever :)

Sometimes walmart wont advertise properly for playstation. On the ps3 near the games i went to play it and barely had any demos at least they had infamous 2. well enough ranting i guess lol. I can’t wait for my buds to come over today and tell them about the uncharted promo “i bet its a beta”them “that was in June this is the whole thing” me lol they dont have ps3s but one wants one :)
I’m in Canada and I had to create an American account to redeem my codes. The multiplayer is downloading now, I’ll let you know if the game will work on my Canadian account.

if this promotion stays in the US…. your gonna owe us non-US players (a third of the PSN community) a damn apology gift for this promotion! giving the US a promotion that gets them skills to carry over into the final game will be the most unfair thing ever, it is either launch it WORLDWIDE or dont do the promotion AT ALL! first we get screwed over with the April breach, now us foriegners get a massive screw over… i sense great doom for UNCHARTED 3! great doom!
