Featured New Releases on Music Unlimited:

Feist – Metals
Among the many accomplishments Apple can claim over the past decade, one of the dearest to many U.S. music fans was the introduction of Leslie Feist to a mass audience. The use of her song “1234” in a national TV campaign for the ipod Nano is widely credited as the defining moment for an little-known singer songwriter to reach platinum level status. Feist made the most of the opportunity by touring incessantly, appearing on Stephen Colbert’s Christmas special and playing with her fellow Canadians in the indie-darling supergroup, Broken Social Scene. Feist’s first new album is four years in the making and her fans have been getting a hands on experience by watching the album making process via exclusive studio footage on her website. Experience the final result for yourself by checking out Metals in the Music Unlimited service.

    Recommended Track: “A Commotion”

Scotty McCreery – Clear As Day
Scotty McCreery has come a long way in a short time. Skyrocketing at the young age of 17 to American Idol, McCreery blew away the judges with a booming voice that the Country world hasn’t seen from someone so young since LeAnn Rimes. After winning the competition, he performed at the CMT awards, premiering his first single and compiling this 12-track debut, including a cover of Keith Urban’s, “Walk in the Country.” Keep an eye on McCreery walkin’ (or better yet, storming) through the country scene in years to come.

If you like: Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Luke Bryan
Recommended Track: “Back on the Ground”

Real Steel – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
If you’re planning on seeing the sci-fi action movie, Real Steel when it opens today, you’ll want to get pumped up for boxing robots by listening to the soundtrack. Alongside hits from Foo Fighters and Bad Meets Evil, Director Shawn Levy brought the artists into the editing bays, inspiring original songs from Timbaland, The Crystal Method and the infamous composer, Danny Elfman. It’s a knockout compilation for the likely #1 movie of the week.

If you like: Bad Meets Evil, 50 Cent, Eminem
Recommended Track: “Give It A Go” – Timbaland ft. Veronica Gardner
