Darkness falls on Central Plaza this week, as ghosts and ghouls alike rise from their graves and converge upon PlayStation Home for an evil event full of unspeakable horrors beyond what the human mind can fathom. We have tons of spooktacular content coming just in time for this weekend’s Halloween festivities, so log in to PlayStation Home this Thursday, October 27th and check out this monstrous update!
The celebration begins with the launch of Aurora v1.3 and continues with some devilish community events courtesy of nDreams. Visit Aurora on Friday, October 28th to start the nDreams’ Halloween competition; visit the space on Monday, October 31st and join the nDreams team for their 19-hour “Around-the-World” Halloween party. Whizzing around the globe on their broomsticks, nDreams staff will be hosting the Truly Terrifying Quiz in Aurora and handing out some spellbinding prizes. The party starts in the dead hours of the morning on October 31st and ends shortly before the clock strikes midnight – so log in to PlayStation Home this Hallows Eve to take part in this special nDreams event!
Lockwood Publishing introduces the Cemetery Shadows – the no-bones-barred baseball team that’s in it to win it, even if that means soiling their hands with grave dirt. Take a walk on the dark side with the Cemetery Shadows baseball uniforms and get ready to bury the opposition alive!
To help you get into the Halloween spirit, we’re unleashing a series of blood-chilling costumes, creepy companions, and frightening new furniture items. As Usual, i purchased the new Haunted Cutteredge Personal Space and it is no where to be found, and i dont want to hear the “we are working on it ” or the useless “clear the cache ” i want what i paid for , this service is beyond 3rd world class , give me my money back or my New Personal space .
I wasn’t surprised to see the exact same pumpkin game in central plaza from last year, at least it had different rewards. Home has removed alot of spaces over the years, even spaces that alot of people still visited, what difference does removing a few more that no one visits anyway make.
@PremiumPencil I hate how getting banned in home, means getting banned from PSN entirely. Getting banned from home and getting banned from PSN should be two separate things.

Fams are part of my reasoning for saying that. They say some of the most absolutely absurd stuff that make you think to yourself are these people for real, theres actually a real person behind that avatar who really thinks that or acts that way. Then they will gang up on you and harass you but if you try to say anything back they will all report you. The worse fam I ever came across is the ones that come up to people whos clothing they think is old or cheap and harass them.
Also why do you guys think that anything painted gold is automatically worth $10, I mean come on, I can get a full PSN game for that much! None of those costumes gold painted or not, is worth $10!

Hey man I have seen a couple people with the scream costume on now. I try to buy it and I get an error, now because you guys messed up and put it on the U.S servers it should be available to both regions. That would be messed up if we suffer because of your mishap.

The bugs, freeze ups, are being caused by the glitchers. PERIOD. I agree there should be spaces, adults and big spenders can go to. These spaces can be specifically customized to our liking. If we don’t like a public or private space, for the price of a typical private space, have a Personal Space Builder Kit available in the Estates store. Yes. I do see lag due to user connection speed. I use cable TV connection and gigabit network equipment. Set to 1,000 Mbps upload/download. So this really isn’t a problem for me. I want Home to prosper and succeed. Pointless “fams”, underage users(8 years old? What the?), stalkers, and those that use Home as a dating service need not be on the network. These individuals are annoying, disrespectful, and intolerable. The new Hub and districts, navigation options will take us to the content WE want. Give our navigation menu more customization. Example: Filters. Option to add or remove featured spaces, whether it be under New and Recommended or the Explore tab. Similar to adding or removing Favorites. Personalize YOUR experience.
I’m really looking forward to all the Halloween awesomeness that Home is having today! I already bought the haunted house yesterday and it’s really cool! I’ll defiantly be hanging around home tonight probably won’t get much sleep either! lol. Thanks always Home Team Members for all that you do around the community!
With new Hub coming soon and ability to share user-generated content in Home, a feature I want to see is a Personal Space Builder Kit. For the same price as a typical space, $4.99, you can make one of your own. If you can play Sims, or LBP, you can build a space quite easily. Even have a built-in option to either keep it for yourself or choose to have it featured in the Estates store. If someone buys your space, you make money. I’ll be fair. 50-50.
I just wish I had known that the lockwood showcase Updates at 8pm EST. I thought it would update at midnight since that makes more sense. I guess it’d be nice if there was some communication for those of us that don’t know every detail of home. It’d be nice to give those of us that miss things like this a chance to purchase them. Also it’s been a while since I was on real late when is Home updated now?
Celebrating Halloween in Home?!? I waited all afternoon for the HCV hosted costume party in Central Plaza. 30 minutes or so before the party was supposed to start the music was cut off and when the posted party time came, not one single HCV showed up. But not like this is anything new, out of the many times I have been to the Gamers Lounge for the featured game hosting, I have only run into 1 HCV. How on earth can you expect people to keep coming to events if you keep handling them in such a manner. I am completely annoyed and dissatisfied with PSN! Thank you for waisting my holiday!
