It’s no secret that this week sees the release of one of the biggest games of the year: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Starting today, you can start using Call of Duty ELITE, a premium membership specifically for the Call of Duty series. ELITE helps you elevate your multiplayer game, whether you’re new to the frantic battlegrounds, or a bona fide veteran of the series. Today is also the day Square Enix’s “Winter of RPG’s” kicks off starting with Chrono Cross. Journey through two parallel dimensions in a remarkable quest featuring a huge cast of characters, an engaging battle system, and one of the greatest original soundtracks of any game. If you missed it before, you’ll want to experience it this Winter.
And lastly, free and exclusive for PlayStation Plus is the incredibly charming “Where is my Heart?” Breaking new ground in the PS mini lineup, Where is my Heart? tells the story of a family of monsters searching for a new place to call home. Longtime reader, first post. Hey Morgan. I’ve got a feature request that I’d love to see in a future firmware update which really shouldn’t be too hard to program in. For a while now, I’ve been wishing I could sort my downloaded games by title. As of right now, you can only sort by created date and recently played. With all the great games I’ve gotten since subscribing to PS+ (since day 1), it’s takes a little while to find everything sometimes. Can you pass thing along please? It would be a great feature that I’m sure tons of users would utilize. Thanks!
Dear PlayStation Folks,
I am from Bangladesh and over here we run into some big problems with PS3 games. As you may know, PlayStation is not officially supported in our country. As a result, we don’t even have warranty for PS products. Stores get their games from other stores abroad which results in getting mixed region games. DLC is region locked, which causes a lot of problems with buying DLCs because most of us only use 1 PSN account to purchase games. So I can there are some ways to fix this:
1: Make the DLC region free: So we can buy DLC regardless of our PSN accounts and game region. Remember we don’t have official Sony support here.
2: Give us Official Sony PS support: As a pirated country, most of us still support Sony by buying original expensive PlayStation products (it is more expensive than 60$ as it not officially supported hence pricing is loose). So give us back something in return, with support we may have warranty, better pricing model for games, PSN support, etc.
At the end of the day, we end up spending more money but we don’t get much in return like the other supported countries. Thank you!
i dont think i will be getting MW3 any soon. Too busy playing Uncharted 3 :D.
Yet another dull week for us Psp users. i pray this is not how we will be seeing the Vita games released. if anything i thank god we can still have carts for playing games because judging by how neglectful you’ve been to the psp recently is just pathetic. There are still tons of games you have yet to release, and refuse to release it without any word from both you and the devs. Why keep us in the dark for games that are already release that just need to be released digitally?
Anyway aside from that the only good thing this week for me is the Lego Harry Potter. i enjoyed years 1-4 and i know ill enjoy 5-7.

Do you guys think you could maybe release Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas PS2 Classic.
This is a game i really miss playing.

And because of that one title means this update is a 10/10, greatest update of the year? While i will be picking up Chrono Cross soon, just that one game doesnt make me enjoy the update as a whole since you, i and everyone else knows Sony can and should do better with these updates especially for the psp.
With that though when i state things like that i mean actually psp content. i dont consider ps1/mini as psp content as they can be played on both ps3/psp, so its not just exclusive to psp, plus there are content for both that are unavailable for use on the psp.

MotoGP 10/11 2011 Season Update is broken. I know nobody cares, but I actually have this game and was waiting for the update. Installing the DLC does absolutely nothing. Others have confirmed this problem as well.

Sony, I think I have a great idea. Wouldn’t it be great for a new Kingdom Hearts game or maybe a collection which includes Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts 2 and Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep or any other Kingdom Hearts game. But what should really be in there is KH and KH2. Think about it, HD, and possibly some minigames. Please reply.

@iTofuMan blame the people that hacked the psp and are getting the games for free that is the main reason why there aren’t many psp games being release because so many people are doing that it isn’t worth release games on the psp also right now most devs are focusing on the vita
Yes it is a weak week once again. Realistically I can’t remember an update that was really exceptional. I again noticed comments from several people who’ve been nickle & dimed out of what they paid for. And the total lack of response from Grace, Morgan or anyone else. No trolls you don’t count, attacking paying customers who just want what they paid for is when you forfeited your right to speak.
One other thing, if anybody hasn’t yet read Eric Lempels announcement from last week on Nov. 18 Sony is further restricting your rights to use what you paid for in the PSN store. So two things you can do: Firstly make your voice heard about this unethical scam. Secondly if you do buy anything from the psn store do so before the 18th.
Why the best selling game on PS2 is not in the store already??? CMON SONY , GTA SAN ANDREAS was the best game on PS2, what are you waiting for?

Two other games you could add to the ps2 classic’s list can be Haunting Ground, and Urban Reign.
With these store updates getting ever more pitiful by the week its little wonder they get such low ratings. Between this and the latest money grubbing scheme announced last week I’m scratching my head on how scea expects to sell anything. Shameful Sony thats all I can say really the rest has been said already.

A late comment, but whoever is in charge of PSN avatars for NA should be FIRED. Seriously, f off with all the Street Fighter avatars!!! Every week is Street Fighter, there are OTHER GAMES!! Only twice this year have there been a generous selection of avs from different games, must have been the two days the guy was sick and couldn`t put his usual sick does of Street Fighter.
DIFFERENT AVATARS PLEASE! NO MORE STREET FIGHTER!!! Skyrim is being released on the 11th and I see NOTHING on it >:(

Is there a chance that Twisted Metal Black could be available? I’m just curious.
I like Saints and everything but I would like to have GTA SAN ANDREAS on the ps3 to get my game on for a classic. I just hope that sony thinks about this or is the game too violent and will have mothers picketing around sony and Rockstar like they did when it first came out on ps2?

A Big THANK YOU on PSOne Classic “Chrono Cross”! I had the original game, but the discs were damaged beyond repair a long time ago, and I just haven’t wanted to buy off E-Bay or somewhere and have them in almost unplayable condition for a more than a $9.99 price tag. Although your placing of it was close to the bottom and it wasn’t mentioned in the weekly e-mail, I’m sure this was just an overlook (Just giving you a hard time! :P).
Again, thank you. This will give me something to sate my old school RPG urge for awhile.

It was kind of a bummer to see everybody got the theme for Infamous Festival of Blood free now…. while its nice that everyone gets this cool theme for free, and it was a pretty sweet theme too, it kinda leaves me wondering now what was special about pre-ordering the game ? are you going to go back and give those who pre-ordered the game something else, such as a free infamous fob avatar pack, or a second theme, or a bonus game, etc. ??

And also does what you can do yourself through the game, and you can download the dlc if you want it…

guys let me just tell you unless your a hard core Cod fan don’t waste your money on this. all call of duty elite does is allow you to keep track of online events and stats and give you discounts on certain map packs
where the hell is the mtg duels of the planeswalkers 2012 dlc at? they have been out on xbox and steam for like a month! still nothing on psn, and no indications on when it will ever come out. wtf sony
