UNCHARTED 3 DLC Hits PSN Today, Fortune Hunters’ Club Benefits

We’re now two weeks into the release of UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception and you’re all part of the Fortune Hunters’ Club now, right? If so, awesome because we have a gift this week for you! If you’re not, you can still sign up and it’s a terrific deal at $24.99. As a member you’ll be getting a total savings of 45% off the seven multiplayer packs (three character skin packs, four map packs) that will be released for UNCHARTED 3. This membership includes all currently available and upcoming DLC packs for UNCHARTED 3 as well as an exclusive Fortune Hunters’ Club theme that will let you know when new UNCHARTED 3 DLC hits right from the XMB of your PS3.

Today the PlayStation Store will be loaded with a new DLC pack for your multiplayer adventures with Drake and crew. Load your AK47, grab your Para 9, equip your favorite boosters and kickbacks and get ready to take the fight to the Helghast. Killzone 3 skins are coming for UNCHARTED 3 and suddenly your buddy who liked to play multiplayer as Elena all the time might not look so friendly anymore.

This week’s pack grants you exclusive Killzone 3 skins for your in-game avatar. You’ll get the Capture Trooper multiplayer character skin:

ISA helmet for your customizable character:

and the Helghast Helmet for your customizable character:

This pack is new bonus content on top of the three character skins packs you’ve already received if you’re a member of the Fortune Hunters’ Club. And as a member of the Fortune Hunters’ Club, you’ll be getting this Killzone 3 content for free. That’s right, nada. If you’re not, well, you’ll have to pony up $1.49 for these exclusive in-game Killzone 3 items.

After the Helghast invasion, what’s next? Start planning new multiplayer strategies as we are working on a collection of maps entitled “Flashback Map Pack #1” We’ll have more information for you soon, but we wanted to give you an early look at our next UNCHARTED 3 DLC project. That’s very cool. That’s one great thing of having such a vast library of characters you can inject skins into almost any first party mulitplayer game.

Any chance we can get a SOCOM Marine Skin (just a guy in camo and boonie hat is all I need/want)?

  We’re aware of the issue and working on a fix. You will not be charged if you’re a member of the FHC for the any of the Killzone 3 items.

Hey Naughty Dog, what about us playstation plus members? I bought plus just because of Uncharted 3. If you are saying I have to shell out an extra $25 for dlc and map packs (i though the sole reason of getting plus was this among other features) the I am seriously dissappointed. Also charging people for rehashed skins (Uncharted 1 and 2) and map packs is ridiculous. These items in particular should be free. Not cool Naughty Dog and Sony, Not cool at all.

How about you fix the SP aiming. Then how about you give us stuff we’d actually like to have (despite having paid for it last time around) like you know, Rika and Pinkerton – characters of the Uncharted universe. When I play MP I’m not looking for it to emulate generic fps, so why would I want killzone skins? Sure it adds a little variety, but it’s at the cost of blurring the line between what seperates Uncharted from every other gooyballs military shooter out there.

Can anyone from Naughty Dog tell me what happened to that Dry Docks map? It was shown a long time ago but you probably didn’t include it in the game so you can charge us for it later…

Congrats Eric, on getting the Halghast to invade for this DLC. I was wondering if your going to be putting a patch that will involve SimulView options during multiplayer? Because I had picked up my 3DTV and have 2 pairs of glasses, for both me and my bro. Let me know.

Awesome and all but how about some “NEW” maps? and not flashback maps and stuff from earlier games??? Also, how about more hat/shirts/gear for all the multiplayers character skins? having one or two things for every character is just stupid. How is the highlight of the multi supposed to be customization when there really isnt any? seriously. its sweet that the “custom” characters have more but then all the custom guys look exactly alike, custom characters atleast need Head/Face sliders.

Again, Awesom skins though, however i find it odd that i finally get that shock trooper skin in U3 when i couldn’t even get it in KZ3…. acutally like the KZ2 “Elite” version more but still.

Also, that Helghast head model looks like a direct rip from the U2 DLC… i know you guys are awesome, but seriously, you’re getting lazy. Foirst it was the tons of story plot holes, the lack of customization, the reused maps(redone so), now just rips.

Speaking of which, what was the point of the U2 DLC character skins if you can’t even customize those with things either??? changing a color is not really customization.

Will all map packs be coop compatible? I plan on only buying the map packs as I am happy with the in-game skins already so I was also wondering, can you tell me the prices of the map packs because I want to know if it will be cheaper to sign up for the fortune hunter club or just buy them individually?
And if it is cheaper to sign up for the FHC when is the latest to buy and sign up for it, and if I do will I still get access to the previous dlc stuff already released?

The Cave is coming back! YESSS! Great news. The Fort is meh but I like seeing it will be gloomy and with heavy rain. I love that atmosphere so it won’t be all bad. The Village needs to get here asap! The skins are not for me. But keep up the good work. Sorry we chirp so much but that’s because we love Uncharted! KUDOS! :D

I got ripped off i had to pay even though i’m in the club. Sony has to fix that because i see it as no fair that it was suppose to be free but i still payed for it even though i been in the club before the game came out. the other skins first time was free but this one i didn’t get for free. who do i go to for this situation?

I haven’t bought U3 yet, though I want it so bad, relentless of the game “becoming the next Call of Duty”, or that the singleplayer is too short, I think the only thing that matters is that you have fun playing the game! If you don’t like the game for what it is, don’t play it. That’s all there is to it. Oh, and if you’re a “true” fan of Uncharted (Such as myself), you don’t criticize the game for what it truly is. Anyways, I’ve got a question for Arne or Eric… Whichever. I was wondering if there was going to be a U3 demo?

Is anyone else having trouble with the leaderboard updating. I have had the same number of kills and deaths for over 2 weeks. Did i screw up deleting the U3 subway stuff?. Im kinda new at this stuff and old folks get confussed easily. I noticed I am going further and further down the leaderboard, but my ingame stats seem to be correct. Any help for the old man?

HEY!!! im a fortune club member guy, why am i not getting this dlc for free? its askng me to pay for it, i deposited £20 and so far have nothing but uncharted 2 skins, whats going on? i know the maps are coming but not haveing donut lazarevich and the helghast skin makes me feel cheated!

I thoroughly enjoyed the SP, and am currently enjoying the MP. (even though I kind of suck at it)

My only complaint is that you guys screwed up Elena’s face this time around.. She was beautiful in U2, but in this game she looks mildly retarded, or maybe a facelift went horribly wrong.

Other than that, Great Job guys.

I really think Uncharted 3 does justice to the Uncharted franchise but I really wanted this to be a bit longer, finding the Iram of the Pillars should have taken longer like it was finding Shambala Uncharted 2. A single player expansion would be wonderful but it won’t happen. I want to see that Dry Docks stage as well, to be honest this multiplayer map would be based on the best part of the game and the Uncharted series. I wanted 28 chapters but this game is shorter than it’s predecessor, still gets a 10/10 from me though

It’s a shame… Naughty Dog… I picked up the first two Uncharted games and I may not even pick up the third even as a Game Of The Year Edition, a fair portion of your fan base only plays it for the single player experience. You don’t see the old Tomb Raiders having online multiplayer and that’s what I loved about the first one, the second one was heavy in single player… you messed with the formula and now multiplayer is all your trying to sell. I looked at multiplayer once… had no desire to even try, I love the single player experience… don’t take that way from us… I hate games that depend on having internet. That doesn’t take away from them… you just have to have internet all the time, so when PSN is down… or I have no net (I’m in Canada we have snow storms in the winter) it takes the experience away from us the gamers. You should go back to the original formula… keep multiplayer for those who want it, but put the effort and focus into telling heavy and rich single player story lines.

i bought the FHC pass but it now shows i never bought it ! Got the first dlc message on xmb.and got the U3 MP Skins Packs. But haven’t recieved the message for the 2nd dlc. What gives? Post an answer I’m not the only one having this problem!

PLEASE BRING BACK THE RANDOM SKIN OPTION!!! WHY OMIT THIS SIMPLE BUT CONVENIENT FEATURE THAT WAS ALREADY IN UNCHARTED 2? People who still want to pick a skin manually before each match or those who are happy to play with just 1 skin their whole time they spend online, can still do what they want and have nothing to lose, so for us who like to play with different skins without having to go to your profile before every single match, please bring back this option. If it isn’t broken don’t fix it, they say! And not just that. It would be even more convenient to add a random accessory and random color option for and individual skin.
