Hi Everyone –
It’s a great week to be a Sly Cooper fan. This week the Sly Cooper Collection hits PlayStation Network in a big way. Fans can pick up the entire collection in the PS3 Full Game section of the PlayStation Store for one low price. You can also pick up each game individually as well. Remember, each classic Sly Cooper game has been lovingly upgraded with HD visuals and Trophy Support. If you never had a chance to experience these PS2-era gems, hop on these titles and get set for Sly’s new PS3 adventure in 2012!
Other new releases this week include new PSN game Voltron: Defender Of The Universe. Fight against King Zarkon’s evil forces in a journey across the Voltron universe in an epic journey featuring classic moments from the series. A trial is also available to download as well. The PS3 Full Game library continues to expand as well with the aforementioned Sly Cooper Collection, De Blob 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. PlayStation Plus subscribers: This is the last week in November, making it your last week to grab many of the free PSN games this month including Hydrophobia, and several Crash Bandicoot PSOne Classics. To wrap up the month however, we’re rolling out Full Game Trials for all of the new Sly Cooper PSN releases, as well as De Blob 2. And if you like what you play of De Blob 2 after playing the Full Game Trial, as a Plus subscriber, you’ll be able to purchase it for 50% off. There’s also a 50% discount for the twin-stick shooter Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team.

And you know why the other bundles are cheaper? It’s because the seperate games cost more. Example: The Prince of Persia. Each game is $15 but the bundle is $40. But that is the only one that does it. Every other bundle that also had a retail release has been the same price if you bought the games separate. Both God of War Collections are the same price as the games bought separately. You just sound like a big complainer. It’s a 2 cent difference. And if you already have the retail version, why are you even complaining?
I also found other features such as a health warning after booting the PS3 everytime and a PS+ Icon under the PSN tab.

I wish there was a way to turn blu-ray copies of games into digital copies. Kind of like how that UMD transfer for Vita. I bought Split Second last week plus i have Little Big Planet & Infamous as digital versions ,and i love the easier accessablity & faster loading of the digital versions. I don’t want to have to buy my games over again just to have them digitally. I wouldn’t mind paying a small service fee ,but not 20-50 dollars for a game i paid 20-40 dollars for on blu-ray..

That’s one problem with buying games digitally is rarely are the digital prices at least somewhat comparable to their retail counterparts. Xbox Live has the same issue most of the time. Like they charge 29.99 for Halo 3 when used its 5 bux which means new it should be 10-15 or even 20 at most.
I’m gonna buy the Sly games separate. Saves money…

Voltron & De Blob 2 for me.
Since the Magic the Gathering : Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012 expansion packs have been delayed, it would be nice to get them at a discount when they do arrive. Just make all Magic 2012 DLC half off as an apology/make-up for the 2nd expansion pack arriving later than other platforms.
On another note, some of you should stop hatin on megamixer, his reviews are just fine…. its actually refreshing to read some variety once in a while, and that includes opinions that don’t go with the flow.
I enjoy the PS3, and if we want it to keep improving, Sony needs all forms of feedback, both praise and criticism, to let them see what areas to work on.

Finally. It’s about time for the classic Darkstalkers game to come out on the PSN. Worth the download there until we get DS III to the U.S.

@Anyone who wants Kingdom Hearts on PS3 – That’s Square Enix’s call. Personally, I’m expecting a KHI+Re:CoM+KHII “HD” bundle, hopefully with the Final Mix variants of the numbered entires. But, with FFX HD in the works, we’ll likely have to wait at least until that’s released.
@Feral_Dragon – The Street Fighter avatars (and, indeed, just about anything in the PlayStation Plus avatars section) is all Capcom’s doing.
@MrBeatdown – It doesn’t actually apply the Trophies to your account, though. Which, really, I find MORE annoying, since only the user can view them, and thus they’re cluttering up your own personal list.

On a regular basis Sony comes up with prices that are beyond any ethic or morals.
Red Dead Redemption – GotY is on sale everywhere for the same price OR LESS – with cover, manual, blue-ray and all the extra stuff. You can resell, install it unlimited times (not unlike the digital copy). Who, if not perhaps some kids whose minds might be still not fully grasp reality or some inhouse-promotors, would seriously defend or even recommend buying a digital version with 0 benefits at all. (the whatever % off for premium plus members…come on, seriously, come on)
The Sly Bundle: How is it possible that you perhaps have meetings, decide stuff and then the 3 games together cost more than each game seperatly? I mean, how is this possible? Its not like you release 25.000 games a week and have to price them up.
