It’s a week of amazing DLC with the release of Add-ons for Battlefield 3 and Resistance 3 hitting PlayStation Network in a big way.
Battlefield 3 multiplayer expands with Back to Karkand, available first and exclusively on PSN. Featuring four of the most loved Battlefield maps ever reimagined with the power of the Frostbite 2 engine, this DLC gives you new weapons, vehicles, dog tags, and persistence in the form of all-new “assignments” to carry out on the battlefield.
Resistance 3 sees also sees new content with the Brutality Pack. Team up with a friend to fight off endless waves of Grims, Leapers, and Leeches in the all-new Survival Mode. The Brutality pack also unlocks the Sledgehammer in multiplayer, the Mick Cutler Skin, and Warden XMB Theme.
Despite all the DLC love, don’t forget about the new games hitting PlayStation Store. Wanted Corp, Final Fantasy VI, and PS3 Full Games Dragon Age II and Need for Speed Hot Pursuit all release today. Wanted Corp brings the fun as you play as a pair of intergalactic bounty hunters in this cooperative action-shooter to capture escaped intergalactic convicts. RPG fans young and old will want to download Final Fantasy VI as this PS one Classic caps off Square Enix’s Winter of RPGs.
For PlayStation Plus subscribers, December is going to be a huge month. This week, download Tomb Raider Underworld absolutely free for subscribers. Well I already own Tomb Raider: Underworld and all 3 of the Spyro games, so this Plus week wasn’t the best.
Looking at the bright side, at least if I ever decide to play underworld again I won’t have to get up and put in the disk………

So much stuff! Very meaty update! Got Batman Arkham City skins and I’m getting Back to Karkand too! Ack, $5 left? $2 more and I would’ve gotten the Nightwing DLC, It’s ok because I’m getting Arkham City for Christmas! so I have basically the rest of the month to pick up a $10 card. And oh yeah! Tales of Monkey Island will be $5 at the end of the month so I’ll save that $7 leftover to get that! That’s my month in a nutshell, unless the Sonic holiday pack tells me otherwise. Oh and free spyro! I’ve never played them before so this is nice =) And is Penny Arcade worth it? for $3 I guess it couldn’t hurt…

Final Fantasy Vi finally here, took that, and the free Plus minis plus ‘Snowy’. I’ll be on my PS3 later to grab the rest of the Plus items along with the Resistance 3 DLC.
Still a shame that Trendy Entertainment doesn’t care about Dungeon Defenders. a fun game but so full of bugs it broke a major feature of the Playstation 3 – the trophy sync. Not worth a second more of my time.
I feel bad for people waiting to sell the Batman Arkham City Batman suits, now you can buy all of them for $5,lol,

I see you guys neglected the PS2 Classics section. Well its not a surprise… being that you have been neglecting it since day 1. Simply by NOT ADDING Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas to the PS2 Classics section!! Sheesh.. and I thought you guys here at Sony liked making money.

Yea its this Saturday… but I heard its because the game will be revealed TOMORROW and the actual gameplay/info of the game will be revealed at the VGAs. I don’t know but that background gives me the chills…

Resistance 3 add-on is amazing, highly recommended to anyone that likes survival modes and already has the game. Also smashing people with the sledge hammer online is funny.
Im gonna try the Rage Demo and the Burger time demo also. Here is a question. Does Burget Time come with the original game , ala Elevator Action ?. Thanks in advance.

onslaughtree, no it does not come with the original. I bought it day one, and while it is quite fun (for fans of the original, like I am) you definitely need to play it on an HDTV, highest resolution possible, otherwise it’s kinda hard to see some of the finer details, which are relative to the gameplay.
Has anyone played Wanted Corp yet? Gameplay videos on YouTube look fun, but I don’t want to drop $10 on it if it’s not really that good. Sometimes looks can be deceiving…

even though you probably won’t read my comment sony i still wanna let you know how i feel, just like 1 of the guys said on the first page, i too signed up within a few minutes of playstation plus being released and loved it! just bought another year of plus yestersay cause i didn’t want it to run out :p, i love all the discounts and free stuff even if sometimes i don’t get all of it :)
1 more thing is there ever gonna be any michael jackson avatars?? im a huge mj fan and been wanting some ever since his game came out (michael jackson the experience) and if theres not been any though of bringing them to ps3 can you consider it :D

Also, I forgot to ask… to anyone who has Sky Fighter, would you say it’s worth the sale price of $5? The style kind of reminds me of the old Arcade/NES game SkyKid that I loved as a kid, but I’ve been on the fence about getting it. Is it deep enough to justify the price?
Damned disappointed with that Nightmare Before Christmas theme.
I was hoping for something more… dark, I suppose. Hopefully they’ll add more in the future. I have so many ideas for how they could be. Surely, the development team can come up with some more of their own that would be what I and others would like/want more. Fingers crossed!
