Hi there, we wanted to take the time to thank everybody that wrote to us over the course of the year. We love all the mail we get with your suggestions, fan art and questions! So here is a brief video with Mat and I showing off some of the great art and answering some of the letters that we’ve received from the fans since we announced Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time.

Very timely, as far as I’m concerned. Been taking advantage of the post-holiday lull to catch up on the downloadable Sly games, which have blown me away with how good they are (Platinumed on the first one, working on 2 now). Definitely looking forward to 4, though hope you folks are giving yourselves a bit of a break for the holidays. See you in 2012

So far I think this is my only must buy on release title for the year (maybe Rainbow Moon for PSN). To be fair to other games being developed the bar has been raised significantly by a crazy work schedule. :)

Will Dimitri, Panda King, Penelope and Guru be FULLY playable? Have you possibly thought about adding in a plot twist where Carmelita is forced to join the gang? Are you bringing back any characters from1-3 such as maybe Neyla. Will there be gameplay or screenshots released for other ancestors soon?! Please Sanzaru keep up the good work we REALLY want this game…oh and one more thing….PLEASE RELEASE A DEMO ON PSN SOON!!!!!

Thanks for the post Glen! You probably don’t remember, but I ran into you at the Takoyaki place in San Mateo a few months back. Never got to say thanks for being really awesome and actually chatting it up with me! Now if only you can give me a tour of Sanzaru HQ ;) Keep up the good work guys, can’t wait until Sly 4!

To be honest this is the first time im waiting so longer for a game ^^ and its exciting.
I was expecting a rioichi cooper gameplay video before the new year comes but whatever… thats a good video showing that Sanzaru games pays a lot of attention to the fans.
Video comments: So, ye its normal you guys have to make bentley appear in a whellchair since this is a continuation of sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, but if yous guys wonder a way to get bentley walk again here is, on the end of this game bentley could use the time machine to prevent clock-la puting him handicaped and on the next (possiblity i hope ^^) game we could experience a new Bentley walking once again.
To the Colector’s edition if that happens… it could contain, a sly thief mask, sly’s can, the game, and a book similiar to the Thivius Racconus(i think this book would rly stay cool on it since the game is focused on gathering once again the pages of the thivius racconus).
And that’s all i hope i helped with some ideas.

That’s a terrific idea, and I hope Sanzaru Games see this idea, coz I really want Bentley to be able to walk again, perhaps he could have a new range of gadgets, rather than having that classic wheelchair we’ve all become used to, and cliche’d.
Maybe he could have rocket boots, and bouncing boots jumping everywhere, to majestic heights, and flyin’ if we get carried away a bit x))

I have been DYING to know if we will even AT LEAST see Sly’s father in this game… it’d be even better to play as him. Maybe even do some missions with McSweeny and Dr. M when they were friends.

Happy Holidays and thank you for being big enough fans of the Sly Cooper Universe to actually put some work into making a new game for the series. 2012 is going to be a great year for gaming and I am anticipating the arrival of Sly 4.
2 quick questions: 1) I know that we are going back in time, but will there ever be a point where the Sly Gang go forward? Seeing the future would be pretty interesting, as long as there aren’t any time paradoxes… And 2) Have you guys thought of a co-op heist mode using the Sly Gang or just random avatars. ‘Cops and Robbers’ almost. Single player narrative is awesome, but I was only wondering if co-op ever came up in the discussion for the new game.
And finally, to Sony. COLLECTOR’S EDITION, COLLECTOR’S EDITION, COLLECTOR’S EDITION, COLLECTOR’S EDITION, COLLECTOR’S EDITION!!! I don’t think any of us fans could stress that enough. I got money, I want you to take it!

We all know that a collector’s edition is inevitable but please, Sony, make the limited run actually… limited. Don’t overprice it, either. You can buy a Killzone 3 Helghast Edition for like $30 nowadays and it’s a pity because that was cream-of-the-crop in terms of collector’s edition boxsets. The problem? Quantities were too overwhelming and the MSRP of $130 was too expensive for some. I’m proud to say that I own 1 of 1000-only Limited Helghast Editions.
So if ever the Thieves in Time Collector’s Edition will be as attractive a CE as the Killzone 3 Helghast Edition, the Killzone 3 Limited Helghast Edition, the Resistance 3 Survivor Edition, the Infamous 2 Hero Edition, Uncharted 3 Explorer Edition, LittleBigPlanet 2 Collector’s Edition and all the other great CEs you released this year alone, make it TRULY limited. That would maximize profits and everyone would be happy.
Good luck this 2012! 2011 was supposed to be our year. But I supposed that, the time is now.

multiplayer should be were you be sly and one of his ancestors depending the map. Game mode objective is steal coins and stealthy tatics to get it. Keep up good work Sanzaru games

Hello, as I stated again above, many people want a CE for Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. A few comments stated that! So look, I started a petition 2 days ago, and as of right this second, I have 95 signs for my petition. It is a petition for a CE for Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. I already have about 400 views on my video that was uploaded not long ago at all! Barely 2 days! And almost 100 signs for my petition. If we get a lot of people to sign it, and if I show Sony and or Sanzaru Games, there’s no doubt we’ll get a CE because so many fans are requesting it! So spread the word! Make some online noise!
