  • WOOOOO PS Vita FEB less then 3 days away!!!!!!

  • Are ps1 classics still eventually going to be playable on vita? Can’t wait!!!

  • IMHO greatest Drop in PlayStation history.

Very anxiously awaiting the arrival of my FEB Vita on Wednesday.

    Thanks Rey for posting this!

  • I’m really excited to play Escape Plan and Gravity Rush; man I can’t wait until the vita comes out.

  • Oh wow, there’s a Binary Domain demo? Gonna have to avoid playing that so I can go into the game not knowing anything.

Anyhow, looking forward to my Vita + WipEout 2048 this week. Oooh, and HOTD 3 as well. Might get Super Stardust Delta if I have the cash.

  • Looking forward to getting my copy of Twisted Metal, haven’t played a decent one in nearly 10 years. I’m surprised to find out it is the longest running game on the Playstation though.

Sadly I won’t be picking up the Vita, still haven’t gotten much use out of my PSP.

  • QUESTION:
-If we have at least 2 PSP registered under the same PSN ID, do we have to de-activate one of them in order to use our PSN ID on the Vita? Please answer if u can. It be much appreciated. :)

  • Sonicfan, you can use as many devices as you want with your account. You are only meant to have 1 PSP device and 2 PS3 devices accessing your purchased content however. My guess is that you will have to deactivate your PSP’s as the PS Vita is essentially the exact same thing.

  • When is Gravity Rush suppose to release? I thought it was a launch title. Also, how much is Escape Plan going to cost?

  • Sigh i got to wait another week for the WIFI version

    • I’d grab a 3G bundle, great savings and benefits! You don’t need to activate the 3G connection, you can do that whenever you like. =)

  • I can’t wait to play Escape Plan with the FEB Vita this Wednesday!!!!

  • Will there be PSP game sale in preparation of the Vita’s launch?

  • Where is the Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus for Vita?
Was thingking about picking it up on 15th. Wasn’t it a launch title?

    • Look for it next week I believe. Remember, the true launch is the 22nd. We’re just getting an early start, and also making sure the First Edition adopters have their gaming fix.

  • MASSIVE FAIL in the Super Stardust Delta description…..HAHAHAHAHA

  • Twisted Metal and Mass Effect 3 demo for meeeee!! xD

  • Where is Malicious ? =(

  • wow Mass Effect 3 demo …. i swear i thought it was just gonna be for 360 LOL …. and Super Stardust Delta and Huslte Kings demos for PS Vita… THATS IT?! We need more xD

  • Uncharted GA and House of the Dead III for me this week. Can’t wait until I get my Vita on the 22nd :D

  • With the 3G Vita, can you turn the 3G off? I only ask because (and this might sound nit picky), some might find having NO SIGNAL if they aren’t signed on to have 3G annoying. Or perhaps a better question is, does the Vita say NO SIGNAL if you don’t have the 3G service connected?

    • Yes, you can turn off the 3G signal. Under Settings > Network > Mobile Settings. Just unchecked the Mobile signal. It will also display “No Signal” if you are not in the 3G range.

  • Really excited for Escape Plan. I’ve been totally enjoying Uncharted, Hot Shots, and WipEout. :D

  • Plants Vs Zombies Vita isnt a Launch title?

  • This week >

  • IM STILL WAITING FOR THE PLAYSTATION APP IN THE U.S
    WHATS UP WITH IT

  • So Killzone guys, did you hear that the PS2 classic has been put on hold indefinitely? I’m so happy because i think that sony listened to the fans for once, and are going to give the game the HD upgrade and Trophies that it deserves :)

  • What are the prices for the 3rd party VITA games for PSN?

  • @poodude

I downloaded the Binary Domain demo from the Japanese PSN store. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

  • So, Sony, where is Legend of Dragoon?

  • Just asking. VITA demos can’t be played on a PS3 right? I am just checking so I don’t waste my time downloading one and finding out it can’t work.

  • god i cant see sony fails on this one . i hope the sales go good for vita at launch . although i live in a remote country and cant get my hands on vita any time soon but i hope many people buy vita and its games . i red many comments around the web about vita . many say that they will wait for vita to drop 50 or more and many are complaining about memory prices . i hope sony can handle it . good luck sony . good luck vita .

  • btw sony guys, can we have more Sony Published Full PS3 games on PSN? I refuse to soil my ps3 with 3rd party trash like GTA & Catherine.

    Thanks :)

  • When is Sony going to reveal the psn game we get with Launch Day bundle, and the psn game you get when you activate 3g service?

  • Mass Effect 3 demo cant wait!

  • Hope you can reply to this. I was wondering if Sony will be offering the 2yr extended warranty for the Vita like they do with the PS3? I would definitely get it if they do.

    • Glad you asked that. Yes, we will. Expect more details this Tuesday when the Store Post goes live. You’ll be able to purchase a one year or two year plan on the PSN Store only on PS Vita store.

  • Super Stardust Delta for the NGP? whats that?

  • @Sonicfan. This is from the Playstation support site>

As of November 18, 2011, number of systems for activation is:

For Game Content – Two (2) PS3 and/or PSP systems

For Video Content – One (1) PS3 and up to Three (3) PSP systems

  • Twisted Metal…Not one mention of Twisted Metal Black?

Mass Effect 3 Demo….Should be on the top of the list!

I can’t wait for my Vita…..But why is there only one stinking Demo (Hustle Kings) for the Vita? If games are gonna sell, then let me try some so I am tempted to buy them.

Also Uncharted for Vita is a total cash grab at 50 bucks. It is the only game priced that high(cause it will still sell which makes it a little unethical if you ask me).

I hope future game releases contain both a PS3 version and a Vita version. You advertise that I can take my game with me and continue on the road……..but not if I have to pay twice for it…..I am sick of buying the same game over and over.

  • I need to know the size for the vita games on psn, so that I know what size I need the memory card to be.. Thanks for any help

  • 14.99 for Escape Plan, I will pass on that. Unless I activate the 3G for a month and get to pick that game. We need a post about that……….

Also what about PSX native support? Japan has got a update with Maps and can now record Video….

Netflix on the Vita is a waste (for me)…. If I am at home with WiFi, I would just watch it on the big tv. Who goes to Starbucks or any WiFi hotspot to watch netflix? Why would i use 3G to stream movies with a 250MB limit. Even 3GB is not alot.

Looks like my Vita will get some PSP games. (noticed the AAA games are still 40 bucks too)

  • bakerarmy, why would they announce Twisted Metal Black? It’s only available to those who pre-ordered it for awhile if I’m not mistaken.

  • Any word on the price of Super Stardust Delta also? Also fix it so it says PS Vita not NGP….

  • I am extremely selective with my purchases, but this is honestly the first Drop that I look at and can say I already ordered/bought 4 games off the list! + the ME3 demo! Sony is oozing with goodness!

  • TWISTED METAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hi, I have some questions here. I hope you can answer them.

    1. What game will be released for those who bough the First Edition bundle and the 3G?

    2. If I buy Blazblue Continium Shift on the PSN Store; Will I have the PS3 and Vita version for the same price or I will need to buy both versions of the same game?

    Thanks

    • 1. Everything you see on The Drop will be available to purchase next week, just in time for your First Edition bundle.

      2. PS3 and PS Vita versions of Blazblue Continium Shift are two different SKUs. So yes, you’ll need to buy both games.

  • @7: Yes, you’ll need to deactivate one of your PSPs to activate your account on the Vita. There are no separate groups of activations for PSPs and Vitas.

Rey, are the Vita games coming out on PSN on Tuesday with the store update or on Wednesday?

  • @Death8u4u

I thought it was gonna be a PS2 Classic, and we would just get it for free, while others could still buy it.
    Just want to know more.

  • Some games are already on the network, just search for them.. I have had Modnation Racers Roadtrip ready to go since last Tuesday. Uncharted, Hotshots golf, MN Racers, Super Stardust were there for sure.

    • You’re right! If you currently have a US PS Vita, these titles are available on the Vita store for purchase right now!

  • @44 – Yeah, they’ve been there since last Tuesday’s update, so really they were last week’s ‘Drop’…

    • I was debating to add them last week. But I wanted to play it safe, a lot of things change up to the last hour.

  • So can u play downloadable Vita games on the ps3?

  • Let it be known that many of these Vita games were on the PSN store as of last tuesdays update.

In any case I’m hoping my copy of Twisted Metal ships soon & ships fast. Also hope the store updates earlier than last week to get my hands on Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom. :D

Who am I kidding? Sony now has *THREE* stores to update. PS3, PSP, PSV. Updates will come later than ever, won’t they? :(
