OMG!!! Free Sly?!! I can’t wait! Hopefully the other 2 games come out down the line! And I’m so stoked for Journey and that Dynamic Theme!!!

This looks like it will be a great month! I gave my Sly Cooper Collection to my nephew with plans to get the PSN release as I was thinking the PSN version would be comparable with the Vita, but seeing as we have not been able to get our PS1 Classics on the Vita yet, I think it will be awhile before we see PS2 games on it. (But I am still hopeful that it happens eventually.) but anyhow look forward to getting to play Sly again and will definitely be getting the other two once I finish it or sooner if they go on sale as part Gamers Choice awards. (Fingers Crossed)

But as always you guys surprise me with all the great deals you offer week after week! Makes me glad I have 3 years left on my Plus membership! And will of course add more eventually!

Any chance to issue with Playstation Plus Minis on the Vita will be fixed? Haven’t tried it today, after the maintenance, but I assume it’s not working yet.

Journey is one of my most anticipated games of this year. Flower was a master piece, and I new I was going to buy it from the first time I saw it. I didn’t need any reviews to convince me that it was going to be an amazing gaming experience.
Thatgamecompany are the Naughty Dog of Downloadable games for me; Just knowing that they are making a games is enough for me to know that I will buy it.

Maybe it’s just me, but this seems really illogical. The Sly Collection could possibly win your little “Best of…” contest, but we’ll have already gotten Sly 1 for free, effectively making the 50% discount on the collection a lot less valuable :l

Hell yeah, Um Jammer Lammy! I wanted to buy the game when it was on sale for $3 last year, but i was late by a few hours and just said forget it. Parappa the Rappers better, but this game was still fun. That caterpiller song was annoyin though.

Im going to have to agree with #38 and also add that it seems if anything PS+ is only catered to PS3 users, with Psp and Vita gamers getting left out. Granted there are Ps1 titles and Mini which play on Psp (and Vita soon), but doesnt it seem unfair to have full ps3 games and not have full psp/vita games? And again there are the sale/deal that happen, but again it comes down to how often they appear. I cannot stress this enough as someone who owns a ps3/psp/vita it seems unfair to only have PS+ only be for Ps3 people. We need to see more content given for psp and Vita.

Granted ill let the Vita content off for now since it only just release, but there is no excuse for zero psp content. Why not have free trials, or full games?

I also want to ask is the free theme for Journey the same as the one we get for getting the game?

March 5th, 7:32 pm

I Feel like i wasted My money on PlayStation Plus a bunch of crap i don’t like at all.I did not sigh up for stuff like discounts and stuff like that i don’t have a job so i thought it would be smart to get the year pass of PlayStation plus to get some free games every month. but the games that are free are like games that i never heard of. like games that get low reviews. it was like back to the future i waste 5 min of my life but some how it got 4 stars. PlayStation need to put more games such like game i might wanna renew my PlayStation plus to keep them. I mean how hard is it to put a couple awesome game out there. like street fighter i don’t care two crap about it.MORE FPS PLEASE!!!!!

I have a suggestion for PS+ if you guys are willing to listen.

I know you have the occasional PSN games/minis/themes that are exclusive to Plus for a week or two but how about games/minis/themes exclusive to Plus and ONLY Plus?

It’d make PS+ well worth the price (don’t get me wrong though, I do love PS+) and get many non-members to subscribe.

I think you guys should test this out sometime soon with a possible exclusive theme or mini and if it brings more subscribers, move up to an actual game.

Thanks for taking the time to read this if you did.

PS+ has been worth it, definitely the free games. Next PS+ “specials” seems really good. One thing and definitely Morgan Haro please relay this to Sony: More PS+ benefits, discounts, etc specific for PS Vita

JeffreyDJAmp said:

I have a PS3 but don’t play many games on it — it’s used mainly as a blu-ray player. However, I do have a PS Vita now. Is PS+ worth it for me??

dboyman said:

March 5th, 9:12 pm

@ JeffreyDJAmp For all the free stuff and extras you get for PS3, PSP and soon Vita, I would say yes. Even you don’t use PS3 much doesn’t hurt to try for it, plus said PSN account applies to both Vita and PS3…

Not a bad month at all.

Wish it was Parappa instead of UmJammer, but certainly not going to complain.

And for goodness sake…. add an option to CHANGE OUR NAMES! The change over to “SEN” is a perfect opportunity to start fresh and new, and what better way then to have an option to change our names. XBLA has it, I can’t see a legitimate reason we can’t either.

Ahhh just to think I was going to buy Sly since I missed it the first go around. I do wish there was a discount on Journey but I’ll hold off on that. Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long for PSN to update. Can’t wait to see the discounts in March

I was really impressed with last months offering for PS+ members. This month however is kind of a let down. If you want to impress people who don’t already have this service, offer a large variety of newer retail & PSN games *every month.

Don’t turn this into a early access coupon club, otherwise you’ll find everyone leaving in a hurry.

jyun-san said:

I was really hoping this month would have a little more in store for the Vita, tho I guess, Motorstorm RC is a very nice start. But still, I think the Vita needs a little more integration – at least the Vita’s PSN store should have it’s own Plus category as it’s really inconvenient to browse for Plus stuff right now. (Same goes for Media Go btw) I also find it rather frustrating that Avatars aren’t available from either the Vita nor Media Go, I hope that will change in the future – if I want new avatars I have to ask someone with a PS3 to let me use it with my account for a bit so I can get the free avatars or buy new ones, as I have no PS3 and no intention of getting one within the next year or two.

It would also be really nice if you could add items to your cart in the Vita’s store as well, instead of having to instantly buy things.

I really love my Vita, but right now it doesn’t feel like it gets much love from Sony. I’d really like to see dynamic themes for the Vita, more apps (apps for blogger/wordpress, rss feeds, weather forecast etc) and discounts on Vita content for Plus users.. :)

I personally like this week, Started out crappy(personal), but these games should keep my mind busy, never played sly(beside a demo on a disc on PS2), So I will enjoy it(i bought my PS3 2 weeks ago and first thing I bought was the PSN+ which is so much better than the competitions GOLD), SF is a good game but I was never willing to pay the price for it, now its free YAY!, you… you have made me squeal like a little girl in a doll shop…. ^_^

KingTygerVII said:

BTW, what time do you guys do the update? cause i am fairly certain that we have different time zone, so I want to add your clock to my cellphone(gotta love modern technology), so what time do you guys do the update and what is your time now?

March 6th, 8:25 am

Morgan, is this “discounted price” a misprint?

Phineas And Ferb: Across The Second Dimension – 3/13 (PS Plus Price: $31.99)

This game sells for $29.99 everywhere for the PS3 version – Amazon, Gamestop, Target, Walmart, Toys R Us. It’s only $14.99 at Best Buy. I know digital downloads tend to cost the same as a retail disc but you usually don’t charge us more.

Oh, and in no way shape or form is Street Fighter the equivalent of Trine 2. I know the US/EU stores are going to be different, but they should at least make some effort to be comparable. And if Sony doesn’t want us to compare the PS+ offerings then they shouldn’t have a big link right in the top middle of the page after the word “Visit”. IT’s like a dare.

Good PS+ update again overall, I feel like 2012 is a good year compared to last year. I hope we can go at least until the summer before those 6 Sega genesis games get offered again though.

In the PlayStation Store, there are two options to buy Journey. If you select the one named “Journey (Pre-Order)” (the non-PS+ one) the product description *clearly* says “Download the full game today.” Therefore, you can play the full game today without PS+., right? Before you say otherwise, look at the description for the download.

increased cloud storage is a must. I put 200+ hours into dragon age and I was just about to get the final expansion that completes the story and I got the YLOD. Since dragon age would not allow me to put the save game on a usb and cloud was not available yet I lost it all and to be honest thought it not be fair its the main reason I never picked up dragon age 2 or skyrim. Great games for sure but its stil a sore spot. Thankfully I was able to put fallout 3 on a usb and kept 300+ hours on that game. 1 expansion to go till i am at 100 percent. So I don’t know if 500mb is reasonable for now or not but keep in ind we gamers are playing more and more and when developers treat us to bonuses for having the saved game from there previous games we love it but if we don’t have those previous saves we miss out. Suikoden was a perfect example of this. A fabulous series made all that much greater by being so intertwined. Here’s to suikoden 6-8 the next great trilogy = P

Also if 500mb is not fesable maybe make it mandatory that developers must allow a saved game to transfer to a usb. either or, but both would be appreciated. Any replies would be appreciated. Thanks.
