The Tester 3 Episode 5: Blindfold Battle

We’re now halfway through the third season of The Tester, and the battle to earn a Production Associate position at Santa Monica Studio is really heating up. Last week’s episode found the gamers reinventing themselves as fighting game characters in a competition themed around Street Fighter X Tekken. There was action, drama, fiery special effects and hilarious over-the-top performances by the remaining contenders. If you missed it, check it out right here.

This week, the gamers don togas and head to the beach for a God of War-inspired challenge. Like Poseidon blinded by Kratos in God of War III, the gamers will be blindfolded and put to task under the watchful eye of Santa Monica Studio creative director, Todd Papy. The winners will accompany Todd for a behind-the-scenes tour of Santa Monica Studio.

As always, you can also watch the entire episode on the What’s New section of the XMB, PlayStation Home’s Theater 2 (including limited edition ‘The Tester 3’ game over hoodies), or download in glorious HD from the PlayStation Store after today’s update. And, new this week, you can watch the entire episode on the PlayStation Blog!  (Please do not post spoilers!)

    Whining about whiners.

I don’t understand you whiners who is whining about whiners. I really don’t. Which is probably a good thing, actually…

Wait …… I’m a whiner whining about a whiner who whining about whiners. *Shaking head*

Going back to playing Reckoning and waiting for PSN UPDATE. Can’t wait to SMELL those new DIGITAL DOWNLOAD GAMES !!!!!! :)~

  • *whines

  • Well, I see things in the new releases section of the Vita store…

    @ WoundedUnderwear:

I know you think you look smart for saying that, but unfortunately you didn’t realize that I wasn’t complaining. More like, expressing my confusion. The complainers aren’t necessarily something I can’t handle. However, if one was to complain about the complainers, it would a hell of a lot more legitimate… to complain about the negative effect the whiners are having on the forum.

One can only wonder why people who whine EVERY SINGLE WEEK keep returning over and over again putting themselves through something that clearly makes them so miserable.

If you aren’t happy with Sony, spend your time and money elsewhere. Simple.

    @ Primerolncognito

Then again you are doing the same thing ever week, coming here complaining about complainers.

  • PrimeroIncognito

The negative effect that eventually consumes the forum originates with the initial complaints… which are ALWAYS over the most frivilous things. After that, it should be expected that those who will “whine about the whiners” will be voicing their opinions next… And their complaints are a hell of a lot more VALID than the little cry-baby complainers who essentially cry over absolutely nothing of significance at all…

  • PrimeroIncognito

    Dude, I just explained how I wasn’t complaining…

I’m simply pointing out that if someone was to “complain bout the complainers”, those complaints are much more valid that the initial complaints, due to the nature of those complaints. To speak up against the negative vibe on the forum is much more worthy than complaining about some update being an hour late or a game being priced $5 too much for your liking, when you have no clue exactly why either of those things happen since you’re not behind the scenes.

And I’m not compaining about you either… just trying EXPLAIN something to you… understand?

  • My brain!!! o.0

  • PrimeroIncognito

Sorry, my typing is getting sloppy…

I’m trying to do too many things at once. :)

  • This is the best show ever! And this is probably the most tense season yet. It really does keep you on the edge of your seat.

  • WoundedUnderwear

Again your quote said it perfectly.

You are also crying & complaining about ” absolutely nothing of significance at all…”

I’m telling you, you have to understand why people complain. Don’t come in here and think they have no life and complain all day. Everyone have a reason………. people like me who work most of the week just want to sit down and relax to play those games that are going to be on PSN Store UPDATE. And when its late as it is today. I get upset because all I want is to play a new game couple of hours before I hit the sack early, because I have to work early the next day.

And yes I do play other games while I wait. But sometime I like to play new PSN games before the end of the day. Is that wrong?

  • All content is up and running on the Vita’s store! Motorstorm will be consuming the rest of my night. But feel free to keep hitting refresh…..refresh…..refresh.

  • PrimeroIncognito

    @ WoundedUnderwear:

Again, I explained how I wasn’t complaining, but rather EXPLAINING WHY I DON’T UNDERSTAND YOUR COMPLAINTS.

    I work too, son.

Complaining over not being able to play a new game for a couple of hours tonight is ridiculous. You’ll get to play it tomorrow night then. Or whenever. Big deal. I still don’t understand how it’s a problem. And yes, IF SOMEONE WERE TO COMPLAIN about the complainers (for the 4th time now) it would be a valid complaint because people like to have a nice community feeling on the forums, and whiners come by and mess that all up. After that, everyone else now has THE RIGHT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THEM! (Even though I wasn’t complaining about them…)

  • I like The Tester’s challenges, but what really gets under my nerves is the amount of s-words this season. I know, this sounds picky, but I really enjoy the show more when I don’t have to worry about people constantly cussing. Could you possible at least bleep out some of the excessive s-words? Other then that, I really like the show. I am rooting for SkyD1ddy and kristi pryde.
