Future Cop L.A.P.D — Los Angeles is not always a nice place. In the 22nd century, criminals overrun the city, and Los Angeles is declared uninhabitable. You take control of a mech (that can transform into a hover bike) and try to clean up the streets. Use flamethrowers, plasma bursts, mini-shockwave mortars, and many other weapons as you battle through eight action packed levels by yourself or with a friend. For those who like a little more strategy, play the Precinct Assault mode, in which both players (you can challenge the machine or another human) start with bases and construct combat units. However, building the units cost points that are earned by destroying the enemy’s equipment. The first to capture the opposition’s base wins the game. With its multiplayer options and a choice of two different games, FUTURE COP: LAPD offers action and excitement for every gamer.
Darkstalkers 3 — Three ancient spirits ruled the Dark World; Jedah, the oldest spirit, was resurrected. In an effort to rule over the Dark World alone, Jedah wants to save all of the dispirited souls. To create his perfect salvation, he calls those with valuable souls to his world so can take control of them. Choose from 18 horror themed characters as they battle in a tournament to the death. Every character has unique combinations and ultra powerful dark force moves. Be warned, though, as the arenas can have positive and negative effects on the fighters. You’ll be mesmerized by the gorgeous, hand drawn animation that brings the action to life. After beating the computer controlled contenders, challenge your friends in the versus mode, and if they fear your superior skills, feel free to handicap the match. I get a kick out of the people defending Sony’s lack of Vita support or news. There are currently two games slotted to release in May. TWO. That is unacceptable. Furthermore, what worth mentioning came out for Vita this month? Disgaea? That’s it and even that is a stretch considering it’s really nothing we haven’t had elsewhere before.
The Vita has quite literally had the worst launch of any modern big-named system, handheld or not. It’s been a couple months since launch and we literally still have almost the exactly same line-up now as we did then. It wouldn’t be so bad though if Sony would just do something. Just give us a date for something like PS1 support, which they promised would be up shortly after launch. Now I understand the word “soon” can mean different things to different people as far as how long it really is but come on now…. it’s been over 2 months and we still don’t even have a rough estimate of when we can except it. Sony does the classic “give a super vague answer with no details whatsoever” move with everything pertaining to the Vita so they aren’t obligated to meet a deadline. For all we know, as Vita owners, Sony has already scrapped everything.
Besides, it’s depressing as heck to watch games like Bejewelled 3 come out on PS3 when we all know that game would be wonderfully suited as a Vita title, given the touch screen and all. Update after update there are games releasing on PS3 that could be on the Vita but aren’t. So either Sony doesn’t care enough to hassle the developers of these titles or Sony just doesn’t care in general. Either way, it’s been a rough ride for Vita owners thus far and knowing Sony’s track record (with the security breach and all), we aren’t going to get much in regards as compensation for it.
It’d just be nice to be able to feel as if the 300+ dollars we shelled out for these things were dollars well spent because so far they haven’t been.

And like i (and others) have said if the know they cant release Vita games give us something in return. I think everyone knows (as common knowledge) that Vita released games are going to be out every week. Because of this it would be right for Sony to finally get some Psp titles since the Vita can play it, some people owning a Vita didnt have a Psp, and it would give us something to play while we wait on Vita games.
Its just something i feel needs to be done. If you cant give us what we want give us the next best thing and thats Psp titles. Especially seeing as how there are a ton of great psp titles still not on the Psn like Kingdom Hearts, Crisis Core, etc its foolish for Sony to still be withholding these titles when they could be releasing it now, making money (along with the developers/publishers) and keeping gamers happy.
so are we ever gonna see titles like “NARC” or “MANHUNT” in the PS store????????!!!!!!! THESE too me are REAL CLASSICS!!!!!!!!!!!!

@MrFoBiA I’d argue that the 3DS was worse, marginally; there are still more decent Vita games than 3DS ones, but if Sony don’t pull their finger out it’ll take the trophy.
Even without games, Sony have much to add to the Vita. A better GUI would be job 1.

More crap from the whine brigade. Name me the launches that were better because the 3ds and ds launches both stunk. The ps3 launch was a lot worse. $600 hardware if you could find it, since sony decided not to make any units and some anemic launch titles like Genji, NBA 07 and Untold legends:dark kingdoms. Aside from RFOM, the rest were just your standard ports and multi-plats. You telling me that the psvita launch was worse than that? Go sell crazy someplace else, we’re all stocked up here.

That is the biggest lie ever. Look how long it took the 3DS to get good games, and the first truly great titles it did get were remasters* from two console generations ago.
*No way those were ‘remakes’, same N64 geometry just with new textures and more detail in buildings. That’s not a remake. That’s a remaster.
Anyhoo, plenty of awesome titles for PSVita at launch. Hot Shots, Uncharted, Wipeout, Super Stardust Delta, Mutant Blobs Attack…
