  • So much stuff but no Vita games

    Fix this Sony

  • Sweet! Thanks for the update PSN folks!

  • I’ll take that LBP Journey costume and Dragon’s Dogma demo. Kinda weak otherwise.

  • Good update, but I’m holding onto all my money for MK on Vita!!! Please be discounted, please oh please!

  • That was a quick store update!

  • boo no doctor who boooo

  • And it looks like another week of nothing for me. Granted The Walking Dead looks nice i got it on Steam and been playing it this whole morning. if you guys seriously want to compete with that you need to get this update sooner. Maybe have a set deadline instead of some time on Tuesday.

Still nothing Vita wise unless you wanted Skype. I’m sorry but i dont understand why this is needed on a Video Game system. Granted i assume some people wanted it, and im happy for you, but i dont see why that is top priority, instead of games. You could be releasing Vita games, but decided on giving us Apps that i would assume most of us are never going to use. If you cant give us Vita games there are still loads of Psp games i (along with a whole lot of other people) are willing to buy, But again you choose not too.

Its a real shame when a company never takes its own system seriously. I want to enjoy my Vita a lot more, but its hard when you guys give us nothing Game-wise.

  • thanks for the great update, any information on the future DLC for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, Elder Scrolls Skyrim, or Final Fantasy XIII-2?

  • @ gdogg666

While not stated here, it seems like the Doctor Who game got pushed back till Summer. Real shame if you ask me as i too was looking forward to that game.

  • Any reason why Zuma and Feeding Frenzy are listed when they’ve been available for awhile? I assume this is because they came with the disc version of Bejeweled 3 for “free”. I though it was Zuma’s revenge for a sec and nearly shat.

  • Already got The Walking Dead on Steam earlier today. I was really excited about the Dragon’s Dogma demo though! Thanks for bringing it to PSN.

And if you guys even take suggestions, please make the Disgaea 4 avatars into a buyable pack, I don’t want to fork over .49 cents each if I want them all. :)

  • Wow, super early update. Sadly, just a tad too late for me to sift through before running off to work. Dang…
But a lot of stuff in here for me. I was just thinking about buying Cursed Crusade, and now I can buy it digitally. That is really tempting. And I’ll definitely be grabbing the Dragon’s Dogma demo. Need to see if that’s worth buying or not.
    Thanks, Sony/Blog Team!

  • What about Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock? It was delayed until April and this is the last Tuesday…

  • Yep, so much for the Doctor Who game. Wasn’t it delayed in March and said to be releasing in April? Are we going to hear even a single word about this? We seem to have fallen victim to The Silence.

  • WO3 DLC here I come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Another early update, nice job. By the way, there’s no price listed beside Red Faction!

  • @iTofuMan really? ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ive been looking forward for it for ages now it seems wtf im starting to think this is sum sick prank

  • Why the battlefield price is $59.99? its been out there for a while, don’t misunderstand me, i’m not complaining but i tought it will be $49.99 at least… So i presume that the AC: Revelations that would be here on May will be at that price too right?. One more thing, lately i only buy games from the store and i know that you guys are increasing the catalog all you can, but the idea is to have ALL the ps3 games there on digital mode? or just a few ones? An any case, would be great if you guys made a list of wich games will come and when… for at least the next 3-4 months or something like that. Thanks!

  • I feel like the Vita is getting the same treatment the PSP has been getting prior to launch – and that is not getting any games, demos, or really, much of anything since launch.

At least give us the GR demo, if anything…

  • whole lot of stuff that i could care less about

  • I dont get it, sony finally gives us what we wanted with the skype app and now your going to complain about not having vita games , get up , get in your car or a bus, and head to a gamestop or other and buy one, its that simple and will save you memory

  • Will Ghost Recon Future Soldier’s Beta be available to non-PS+ users at some point?

  • Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 and Re: Chain of Memories would be awesome for release, PLease make it happen.

  • @ BATMANLUVSKITANA

im going to assume thats to me. To which i reply that i have never wanted this app. you (along with some) may have wanted it, but I (and others) didnt. I bought a Vita to play games, as with all my video game systems. not so i could use it to make phone calls.

On a side note i already own the games i currently want to, and have beaten most of them. Its not the fact that i wanted more games, i just want to be sure i have games on the Vita when im done. i feel its better to at least know there are games out there for me to get instead of always waiting. Heck im still waiting on Crisis Core, and Kingdom Hearts to be on the Store.

  • Hi, Grace. I was wondering if there is an unlock all DLC for HotShots: OOB if I already own the game disc? I bought both SackBoy and Kratos already but there is more out there…

  • Stop whining about Vita games. If they’re not available, they’re not available. Sony doesn’t make every game and they don’t have full control over what is available digitally.

  • @ KwietStorm

Actually yes they do. Its their Store and if they feel like they dont want/need to release something they have every right too.

Again like i have said time and time again if they cant release Vita game (which i and everyone else knows they cant) then the next best thing is to give us Psp titles. Seeing as how there are a ton of great psp titles still not on the Psn. it would be a great time to be uploading them, but again they are choosing not too.

    • While it’s our Store, it is up to the individual publishers to submit content. We’ll happily sell it if it’s submitted and meets certification standards as anything else.

  • every week update Without greet games

    i hope sony add :

    resident evil outbreak (ps2)

    crash bash (ps1)

  • i hope sony add :

    bioshock 1 (ps3)

  • I would ask if the re-release of Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds includes trophies this time around, but I already know the answer. If you guys are going to reissue this game and expect people to buy it the least you could do is update it with now-standard features.

I already own HSG:OOB, and honestly I would have bought it a second time if this would have included trophies. Get with the times, guys.

  • Great update. Definitely going to pick up The Walking Dead bundle. If I enjoy it even HALF as much as I enjoyed the Back to the Future adventure games, it’ll be money well spent.

Any word yet on Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock? I was really looking forward to that. Was “April 2012” the Europe release date only? Any rough estimate as to when it’ll be available in North America?

  • wow a nice early update and i love that the Warriors Orochi 3 samurai pack is out and the walking dead ep 1 i will be getting them and i waited a ps2 game it wasn’t Red Faction

  • You’re actually better off buying the retail version of Bejeweled 3. It costs $15-$20 more or less, and you get Feeding Frenzy and Zuma at no extra cost, as opposed to what they charge you on PSN. I actually picked it up a few weeks ago during Amazon’s B2G1 sale, so thank you Sony!

  • @7: Dood… the people that make those kinds of apps, aren’t the same ones that are developing games for the platform. Games take time to make, as do applications. The Skype app is just finished now. And games aren’t.

Deal with it. And do yourself and everyone else a favor and never buy anything else at launch so that we can avoid you’re tedious complaints in the future.

One week without a game. OH NOES, THEY’RE NOT MAKING ANY GAMES EVER AGAIN. NO GAMES ARE IN DEVELOPMENT NOW BECAUSE THERE’S NOT A GAME TODAY!!! HOW DARE AN APP BE MADE!!! RAAARRRRR

    Sheesh.

  • THANKS TO TARGET FOR MAKIN ME PURCHASE “BEJEWELED 3 TRIPLE-PACK” & NOT PURCHASED “BEJEWELED 3″/”ZUMA” & FEEDIN FRENZY 2″ I JUST SAVE 35. $

  • great update but any word on dragon ball z games for ps2 classics on psn??

  • First time here – Vita related. Been a Sony fan for a very long time & was even a part of the GAP, something that was really awesome to be a part of …still have my cap and card! Anyway, I’ve played many of the Vita games available and I enjoy them.Backwards compatibility has made me skeptical. Yes, PsOne and PSP support are the issues I’d like to bring to light, as dozens of others have.
I’ve been watching this blog like a hawk, hoping to see the PSN Store Update mention anything about these two features. I rebought games I had on UMD for their digital counterparts. I’ve rebought PsOne games (that are available on PSN) to preserve the CDs life and…the convenience. I enjoyed playing them on my PSP 1000, too!
    Let me put it nicely….
I RATHER PLAY PSP, PSONE and MINIS games on the Vita over another social networking app and anything unrelated to gaming. Admittedly, Skype is nice to have. Vita games takes time, so while we wait for the next big release, why not play those PsOne and PSP games to fill in the gap? That’s what you hard working guys at Sony sold me, a portable GAME system. We all know it doesn’t do everything a la Ps3. Keep it that way :)

  • Not bad.

Will be giving the Walking Dead Demo a spin before buying the season (JP sucked, Bttf was eh). Happy to see the WO3 stuff we should’ve gotten last week as well.

Future Cop is good fun people, pick it up.

  • I allready own FEEDIN FRENZY 2 :) not Bejeweled 3 game I do have on pc want for ps3 for easy trophies lol

  • Long live Sony! Thank the Gods as well. I have been waiting for this since Feb 15. ^_^ I am so freaking happy. Anyone who complains is ill conceived collaboration of human being. And thank you for the Video chat as well. Hell, my daughter didn’t want to get off the laptop when talking with me. Lol. Anywho, anything else that comes out will be the cherry on top of a very sexy Vita sundae. Thank you again Sony.

  • Hmmm, where’s the Vita stuff? Love the PS3 items this week, but my shiny new Vita is feelin’ a little left out….

    • There’s a TON to play on Vita, have you gone through all the launch and post-launch titles? Im a huge gamer, and I have trouble keeping up with all the Vita releases. But hey, I’m probably biased ;)

  • The 1 hour trial of Battlefield will take you more than an hour to download the 12gb file. Pretty sad that it takes longer to download than to play the 1 hour trial. How bout 24 hour trials sony? Then it might be worth the time it takes to download these full game trials. Would’ve been nice to see some actual gameplay footage of The Walking Dead too. That trailer had no gameplay footage from what i saw. Have to pass on that one..

  • @iTofuMan

If you want Vita games so badly, then import them. It takes time to localize a game, import and get them months and sometimes years ahead.

  • “You can connect to Skype on AT&T’s Mobile 3G Broadband Network. We recommend using a Wi-Fi connection; your operator may charge you extra for using your data connection.”

It doesn’t surprise me to see this warning regarding AT&T due to the fact that they’re being stingy with what uses their data in the first place on the Vita. It’s a mobile device and it should have been a given that a 3G service should work, for the amount paid for its services, for everything on the device and not discriminate based on data usage. Not all of us Vita users only play casual games and check facebook. Most of us would love to have a nice full multi player experience on the go. Here’s a hint for everyone who hasn’t figured it out already: Get a tethering plan with your wireless carrier and bypass this.

  • @ Elvick_

actually its been more than a week with no Vita content. Again (it seems like people cant read) i know things take time to make. again if they cant release Vita game there are always a ton of Psp titles to upload. i dont see whats so hard with that.

I dont see why i would have to stop buying launch system. Where have i ever said i didnt enjoy my Vita? Stop putting words in my mouth. Plus you make it seem like every enjoys the all the games that come out. guess what everyone is different. Just because you and i are enjoying our Vita doesnt mean there are people who are still waiting on a game they want. Heck there are people who bought a Vita just to play Gravity Rush. so they have to keep waiting because the game keeps getting pushed back. it would be nice if they could get a game catered to them.

  • You want to know what else Vita owners are high anticipating?

    GAMES! Where are the games?

  • So glad we have Skype now! Thanks, Sony!

Though I do wish we could send IMs on it through the Vita. Maybe in a future update. I’m just glad we have the app itself now.

  • It would have been awesome if Red Faction game could have been online multiplayer oh wells. Downloading Dragons Dogma as we speak. Kinda disappointed that Bejeweled 3 is 15bux and it don’t have ps plus discounts or anything. Can’t wait to see what you guys bring us next week.

Again when did i ever stated i only wanted Vita games? I know they take time, thats not what im saying. Since they cant put up Vita games, why cant they put up Psp games, or at least give us Ps1 support for Vita? I’m sorry if im a minority here, but i bought a Vita to play games, and while i am doing that it would be nice to get more Psp and ps1 support for this system.

is it honestly that hard to understand?

  • Yeah, I totally bought Feeding Frenzy 2 about 2 years ago on PSN. Doesn’t really classify as a new release. At least it still shows up in my download list. Otherwise I’d be pretty p/o’d right now. Are we really to the point of re-releasing really old games that everyone forgot about and calling them new again?
