  • I hate demos with time limits. How are they supposed to convince me of buying Sonic 4-2 if they let me play for only two minutes? At least let me finish the darn act, for pity’s sake! Two minutes are not enough to ever get a glimpse of anything.

The same goes for Arkham City, only with 15 minutes instead of 2. Why? It’s not like the full game is already included in 1.3 GB.

    :(

  • Isn’t Velocity also supposed to be available on the Vita???
Multiple sources online have been saying that they’ve been playing it on their Vita (although, I’m not sure of their geographical location), but I don’t see it in the minis section of the Vita Playstation Store. Another person earlier in the comments thread mentioned that they tried downloading it on their PS3 and transferring it to their Vita but that didn’t work either.

  • I have a couple questions….

    1. If we try a Full Game Trial and finish out the hour and then buy the Disc version instead, will the saves and trophies still link up or do you have to buy the digital copy?

    2. I bought Sonic 4: Episode 2 and I also have Episode 1, but I didn’t see the Metal Sonic Episode unlock… do you have to have the Ep. 1 installed or can you just have the save file? At the moment I only have the save file on my PS3.

    Thanks!

  • @195, Aizawa- 100% correct.

  • Regarding Rayman Origins: part 1

    1. Sony: I understand you have no control over a publisher pulling an offer.

What I don’t understand is how you thought that instead of posting a retraction (You know that thing Responsible, Respectable companies do when they make a mistake) you chose to go back and delete all past references to an offer and say nothing. It’s not just disingenuous, its deception plain and simple. You knew about this prior to publish. Playing semantics with the facts will not change that. Hiding your response in the comments only reinforces the deception. See No, Hear No, Speak No, doesn’t cut it, it never did. After the PSN hack debacle I would think you would have learned from that.

I’ve been talking up your Plus service for months now, the Rayman offer was that nudge that convinced me to reup my three month with an annual sub. The membership is awesome for what it offers, but this non-response feels like a smack in the face. PR-101 give it another once over.

TL;DR; Sony: grow up, be more upfront

  • Regarding Rayman Origins: part 2

    2. Ubisoft: YOU SUCK

You also knew this was a published promoted offer, if you had no concrete arrangement why allow promotion to go forward. I have supported the hell out of this title. I pushed every one I know with a system to give it a try, Over Christmas I purchased 4 copies at full retail 3 Wii, 1 360, for my nieces and nephews. I knew all about the door crasher promotions and amazon sales. I wanted to support the title. Since then my income’s significantly declined.

The Plus membership was my way to try and still enjoy gaming when I can’t afford a cycle of new titles. This offer meant a lot to me, I really wanted this game, but none of my stupid relatives owns a PS3 so I can’t even borrow it. Your massive sale on almost every other product is just the icing on your s**t cake. The exclusion of all the other Rayman offerings on PSN was not lost on me. Your assventures with DRM are bad enough, but this I will remember. There is a point where a customer will refuse to be crapped on regardless of how bad he want’s a publishers title. Just ask Capcom.

TL;DR Ubisoft: YOU SU…. …oh what’s the point, you’re clearly aiming to beat Activision at everything they do

  • + Morgan Haro on May 15th, 2012 at 6:15 pm said:
This is being looked in to on our end; apologies for the delay on this.

Well, its now may 16th. When you say its being looked in to on our end, what exactly does that mean? Do any of you guys realize just how damaging this is ? We’re not just talking a delay anymore, we’re talking about a falsely advertised product being promoted on your blog with people asking for their money back. The product was a sale item that lasted only a week, prompting people to buy PJM deluxe and then trusting you would make good on the advertised claim of having it work on the vita come may 15th.

You haven’t. Not only that, you don’t seem to even have any clue as to what went wrong or what’s being done. No confirmation on when, if ever, this product will be made vita compatible. No Rayman Origins at $15, another falsely advertised product. You guys are on a real roll here.

  • well it’s a start but I checked and all those psp titles valuable now on vita are craps game…please offer us some good titles that were graded more than three over the freezing point!!!

  • Sony when are you going to fix the price for Prototype 2 with Radnet? I can get the disk version with Radnet from Amazon, Gamestop and Bestbuy (only one I checked) all for $40. I would like the downloaded version instead, please fix the price

  • @ 210: Nightmare_Lord: Dood it’s not Sony’s fault. Blame and complain to Activision, they set the price.

  • lol 60.00 for P2, is 39.99 on every local store here in canada , i and i could care less about the 55 blabla extra

  • *PRICE ERROR* L.A. Noire costs $29.99 for regular edition on ps store when it is only $19.99 at retail stores like best buy. This is the same for the complete edition of L.A. Noire which is $39.99 on ps store yet is only $29.99 at retail stores. Please fix this as this will lead to people buying LA Noire at retail store as it is much cheaper, and to be honest with you is far more superior on disc than downloaded with 500kbps internet.

  • Sony who sets the price not Activision, or anyone else, its how they can offer discount on stuff, and given free stuff away – Sony just doesn’t check before they put prices up and just think everything is worth the full, if they would of just check and would of saw Prototype 2 being cheaper, long with L.A. Noire. Right now they just doing bad business

  • morgan,

I understand people have been making reference to Assassin’s Creed & Arkham City for a while now…

Any word on when these games have been rescheduled to?

Can you at least comment if they’re still going to be released or not?

Ghost Recon is supposed to come out next week on PSN. Allegedly day and date on PSN as with the retail game. Sounds a little too good to be true based on this track record. Can you comment on that, too?

    Thanks!

  • Hey morgan why is saints row 3 $60 in the ps store?
This is crazy yall have 2 stop rippin ppl off

  • paulcarrillo226

Shut up and take my money Sega!

  • @216 yea i agree with you but for years aor looking into alot of long time sony fans found out digtal d lis good for the devs to do its cheaper for them to make and do and etc, its is kinda cheapr for the buy to becuase the tax is lower in total purchase..but its still not right becuase a game is 60 whopping dollars which is alot onthe wallet..

This is why alot of us fought and asked in posstive manner for a discount programs for 3 years in the ps foruns and in this very blog.. they gave the ps plus program.. I suggest you wait for saint rows to go dwn i think at one they gave it away for free with psn plus i dnt rememebr if it was saint row 2 0r 3. But psn is worth it.. alot us have alot of work to do and shaping to do with the brand.

    Mcbuttz78
    vp-psn legionairee group

  • @216 also if want that theere and friends who want it there on ps plus please just speak out and be a bug a boo.. i can happen.

    Make post like this here

please look into putting saint 3 on psn plus discount program.. etc etc..

  • Pixel Junk 4am needs some real artists in there and it really needs a variety of music. Especially underground hip hop.

  • I want to hear some BEATS, not atmospheric techno music lol. That’s 4am for me.

  • @ 214: Nightmare_Lord: Proof or it didn’t happen… you know the rules of the internet!

  • ATLUS, I love ya, love your styles, but I need YOU to know how much I NEED Block of Ages on PSN. That’s hilarious, and should break and roll for the consoles as soon as feasible. Heck, make it a buck or two, and I’d insta-buy (or at least, if I have the funds or a cart over that absurd $5 minimum).

On the subject of PC exclusivity, I know this really isn’t the place, but can 1366×768 be added to the resolutions?

And on the subject of loving ya, I know it’s out of your hands, but if you guys could add to any pressure to get PS2 saves convertible for PS2 Classics, that would save me tens of hours of heartache. Then again, it’s been so long since I’ve played P3FES that it’d do me good to start fresh. Just as long as I still get all study-buddy with Chihiro.

P.S. – If anyone here likes runner games, GET ONE EPIC GAME. It’s so kitsch.

  • @Morgan: The benefits your describe can be achieved completely without people COMPLAINING and/or WHINING about it. Which is pretty much what my entire comment was about, because it’s getting old. People need to lose the repetitive and redundant comments. “Are we there yet?” No. That didn’t change the first four thousand times you whined about, so just be quiet and wait.

State your business, move on. After awhile, if things haven’t changed, say something again. Keep on the issue, but not to the level that a 7 year old who’s bored would do.

And most of the things that could be fixed through comments, aren’t things that that would end up being repeated a thousand times over the course of every blog post ever created. People complaining in every post about PSone games on PS Vita aren’t going to get the development done any faster.

People mentioning errors in the Store Updates, are things that can be fixed when someone reads it. Then you get to deal with ‘cover up’ comments.

  • @170: Thanks for the information. I asked Sanuk about it after I posted that, and found out some info on it. Not that specific though. I knew that they had submitted the games to SCEA, but then there were issues, and that they haven’t had the resources to go at it again.

Which stinks, because they’re great games. I have them on my 360, but 2D games and the 360 controller are bleh…

Sucks… I want those games on my PS3.

  • Great update

  • Anyone having troubles connectiong with people on ROCK OF AGES? entered in contact with 10 friends of mine and all have the same issue, connection error or the invite simple does nothing after accepting it. So no online feature working with the games, i was wondering why no one had 100% on it yet. Now i know why.

Games should be checked for bugs before been offered as a product.

    FIX IT !!!!

  • ps: forgot to mention all have Plus account.

  • yo w?s up ppl

  • Best Buy and WalMart in Canada have Prototype 2 for $39.99 with the Radnet pack.

    FAIL.

  • Please bring both sonic episodes to vita!!! These digital only games are perfect for portables and cross platform in general!!

  • I enjoyed reading the comment responses by Mr. Haro. It is nice to see some honesty, and responses to questions even if the answer may not be the one that they wanted to hear.

It is better to give some sort of response, than just having silence as a response. So, Thank you.

  • @218

Playstation Plus never gave away Saints Row 2 for free. It was THQ that gave away Saints Row 2 for free for promising exclusive content for the PS3 or was it Sony. But it was only for a limited time if you used the online pass.

  • Elvick just give it up please. Even Morgan said your wrong.

  • I really want a silent hill 4 dlc and all the shadow hearts games as well!!
