Ghost Recon: Future Soldier promises to go beyond the core Ghost Recon franchise and deliver a fresh gameplay experience featuring prototype high-tech weaponry and state-of-the-art single-player and multiplayer modes. Enjoy this week The Drop.

PlayStation 3

Sorcery (Also on PSN and PlayStation Move Required) — PlayStation brings the world of magic and wizardry to life with Sorcery, the newest addition to the PlayStation Move motion controller software line-up.

The Nightmare Queen has broken the ancient pact with mankind and threatens to cover the land in eternal night. As a young sorcerer’s apprentice, it is up to the player to master the arcane arts and fight back the foul creatures of this magical realm. Sorcery puts the power in the players’ hands using the PlayStation Move motion controller and letting them conjure and command powerful magic as they brave the dark world of the Faerie Kingdoms.

On their journey, players will encounter a multitude of enemies, solve ingenious puzzles, learn powerful spells, and craft strange potions with the in-game alchemy system. With over eight spells that can be used in various combinations and countless items to discover and collect, Sorcery immerses players in a unique fantasy adventure like never before.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier — Part of the Group for Specialized Tactics, a Special Mission Unit under the direct command of the Joint Special Operations Command, the elite of the modern US Special Forces is better known by their battlefield legend. They are the untraceable soldiers called the Ghosts. Only the best of the best, soldiers with a unique mix of skills on and off the battlefield, ever get to wear the coveted Ghost insignia. In the near future, four of these elite soldiers serve as the tip of the spear in a hidden war raging across the globe. But even as Ghost Lead, Pepper, 30K, and Kozak accomplish their objectives, they discover the threat they face is greater than they ever imagined — one that could alter the international balance of power forever.

Dragon Dogma — Set in a huge open world, Dragon’s Dogma is a unique action experience that blends exciting and fulfilling combat with the freedom to explore and interact in a rich, living and breathing world. With your party of three you set out on an epic adventure to track down and destroy a mysterious dragon. Along the way you’ll encounter some of the biggest and baddest beasts ever to roam the land, and only skillful play and tactical teamwork can save the day.

Men In Black: Alien Crisis — Join the Men in Black as Peter Delacoeur, a MIB Agent in training assigned to unearth enemy aliens who are planning to destroy planet Earth. With hidden surveillance and stealthy guards on the prowl, players must ambush confidential alien intelligence and stop all alien attacks. Men In Black: Alien Crisis brings exciting, realistic MIB Agent movements as players shoot, and dodge their way through action-packed levels to escape fierce alien assaults. Using a ninja sword and shurikens, you’ll hunt down your nemeses and enter a fight to the death. Hurl knives, ward off bullets, avoid death stars, and more in this epic rescue journey. Your trip will not be an easy one: Musclemen, Kung Fu gangs, and armies will attack you over the course of 24 levels making for a deeply challenging game. Though the Neo Zeed are masters of disguise, your omniscient mind and ninja skills will give you everything you need to find them. What you do with them is up to you.

Wonder Boy In Monster Land — After the defeat of the evil king, the kingdom of Wonder Land was a paradise … for a time. The peace was broken when a ferocious, fire-breathing dragon struck without warning and took over Wonder Land with a swarm of evil, monstrous henchmen, turning the once-peaceful land into the utterly chaotic Monster Land. Unable to fight, the people now look to Wonder Boy. Realizing that he is Wonder Land’s last hope, Wonder Boy sets out on an incredible journey to rid the country of the monsters and defeat the “invincible” evil dragon. Guide Wonder Boy through various environments and dungeons, and defeat enemies using Special Weapons and Spells.

Wonder Boy In Monster World — Monster World was a peaceful, happy place until one dark day when an army of BioMeka monsters invaded. Playing as a young man named Shion, gamers vow to defeat the hostile foes and make the land peaceful again. Attack enemies with swords and spears and guard against incoming projectiles with shields and armor. Travel through the many different regions of Monster World and talk to the townspeople, collect money to buy items, and gather a large variety of weapons and magic. As players progress, the weapons and equipment become more powerful, including suits of armor and boots.

Now, Carnby and archeologist Aline Cedrac have gone to Shadow Island to find the tablets and prevent the evil from escaping. You’ll play as both characters (at different points) as you manage a set of limited resources and explore more than 1,200 areas. During this adventure, you will have to battle a host of demonic enemies using the wide variety of energy and supernatural weapons at your disposal. It is Ghost Recon and Dragons Dogma for me. Some of those Sega Classics also look very appealing. Now all I need to do is beat Tales of Graces F(Great game) and play some Dragons Dogma and Ghost Recon. I know I am probably the only guy who lists the Ghost Recon Series and the Tales series as favorites of his? Oh well, I enjoy them! :D

Yea!!! Sorcery!!! Can’t wait to get my copy on Tuesday. I’ll eventually get Ghost Recon, but I’ll wait for a price drop… having a broken BETA didn’t help the game IMO. I’m sure it will be good, just not $60 good.

im really excited for Sorcery, for this is the sole purpose i wanted a ps move in the first place. i knew other titles were coming in between, but i reeeeeeaaaaaly wanted Sorcery. cant wait til tuesday!

now..Ghost Recon was something of a if title to me, and i missed out on the beta :/ that’s my fault. however, notice the box has that shiny symbol at the bottom that indicates its a 3D GAME!

SO MY INTEREST LEVEL WENT FROM 3 TO 9 1/2 HAD NO IDEA THIS WAS GOING 3D AND NOW I HAVE A SERIOUS DECISION TO MAKE! LOL

What’s up with the PS Vita’s releases? I’m thinking about getting one this week to add to my PlayStation collection but there seems to be nothing really good out for it and last time I checked (a few months ago), I can’t play my PSP or PS1 games from Media Go and stored on my PS3 on it yet.

I’m really hoping the Sega classics will be playable on the Vita as this will be an aid in making my decision on getting one or not.

bakerarmy said:

May 20th, 5:08 pm

Doctor Whis sounds good….except, they should have released the Vita version at the same time. No point of it supporting Cross-play a month after it comes out. I will have beaten it and board by then.

Sony needs to be pushing these devolopers to complete these cross-play titles together like MLB The Show did.

Table Top Tanks looks cool, but needs to many AR cards. I fit AR Card 1 in my case, and that is it. Never got a number 2, but got the rest. Already downloaded them in pdf, but a papercopy aint as nice.

YungShep said:

@29 WE GET THE FIRST FPS GAME IN VITA HISTORY NEXT TUESDAY. RESISTANCE BURNING SKIES..YEA U SHOULD YOUTUBE SOME GAMEPLAY, ITS PRETTY AWESOME.

bakerarmy said:

May 20th, 5:11 pm

Also, all the PS2 classics are not cool. Sure you might like them. But I don’t buy them. Instead I bought a PS2 and use that. Disc based games are cheap and I can find most for under 9.99

Will we ever see a The Warriors remake or anything about that awesome game or will it just fade into oblivion? It sold quite well and I’m wondering why I’m unable to play the game on my PS3 or 360.

Ok you win lol. I finally caved in and bought Starhawk 2 days ago on disc. I just can’t sit around and wait on a digital version to hit psn and so far I’m loving it. I was on a roll last night. I helped my team in team deathmatch win 16 games in a roll before I turned the game off so no telling how many more my team would’ve won had I stayed on the game but I had to get to bed lol. One game I had 24 kills in a roll before I got killed and finished the match in first place on the winning team and was pissed cause their is a trophy you can get that if you do what I did but do not DIE in team deathmatch you get a special trophy for it but dang it I died once 5 seconds before the match was done and we won it. I was like Noooooooooo lol. Anyways I’m really enjoying Starhawk so far.

Glad to see Syphon Filter: Omega Strain but I’d be more pleased to see these:
1) A brand new Syphon Filter game for both PS3 and PS Vita,
2) Syphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow (PSP) compatible with PS Vita,
3) Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror (PSP) compatible with PS Vita

EVIL_D-E-M-O-N-S said:

A good hint for starhawk is save up the energy for 10 blocks of it and always build the big tank like craft with big wheels on it. That thing is BEAST its how I got my 24 kills in a row without dying. I’ve played everyway you can but the best is to be patient and save up that green energy for that thing and use the skill that gives you energy slowly over time anywhere you’re at on the map. Its the skill I always use and it helps a TON. No more having to camp out at the base to save up that green energy you NEED to build stuff. Use that skill and you can adventure out and beyond! It’s the Starhawk version of One Man Army on MW2 LMAO! Anyways great game Sony I’m really enjoying it.

AH! This is looking to be quite the week for gaming on PlayStation Network. I’m pretty psyched to be able to pull out the ol’ PlayStation Move this week and finally get to play me some Sorcery. I think this is going to be the game that either makes or breaks the PlayStation Move so I hope the game is polished up and is ready to come out the door rather than just being thrown together because PlayStation Move really depends on this game. It’ll either prove and show that Move can be for the Core gamer in a totally unique experience so, we’re pretty excited to jump in Sony.
