As far as I understand, Kaz & Co. are planning to throw so much content at Plus subscribers it will be irresistable not to sign up.

It is E3 week people… I heard a rumor that PlayStation Plus is getting an overhaul, to be announced tomorrow at E3 if it is true, I heard that Battlefield Premium may release tomorrow, but DLC isn’t listed on The Drop articles.
So in short, just wait it out for a day, something will happen, and it will be sweet. But also, you can’t blame a weak update week on Sony… like come on, if a developer doesn’t release a game, you can’t publish it on the PlayStation store, or any other digital marketplace for that matter.

That’s it? Um WHAT? I see nothing worth wild this week in this drop. Better be some good plus stuff this week. Oh and start giving us plus members multiple choices on games that are free when you put up a game free that we already bought months ago. Us that already have the game you give for free juts gives us no value to the plus membership we are paying for. Its not our fault we bought the game already but others get it free and we get nothing in exchange for buying that game already before. We should have other choices to pick another game for free at the same value then its only fair us that already has the game you give out free still get a game for free as well and not miss out on a free game.

I wonder if a new Syphon Filter will be revealed at E3… Hmm… They released NFS Most Wanted (PS2 Classic) and the next NFS is called Most Wanted, from Criterion games. Syphon Filter Omega Strain was also released at the same time as Most Wanted (the PS2 Classic), could this also hint for a new SF game? That would be epic!
Above what I’m trying to say is how is our plus membership a extra cool membership when some of us buy on psn a lot and say a whole month the games you give the plus members free we already own. If that is the case then why do we pay that month for the plus membership if what we are paying to get free we already own and then get nothing on top of that but a plus fee. We gained nothing from plus then. You at the sony psn team need to think about this cause if you guys are always going to give us free games we already own then why keep plus you know. We should have multiple choice picks of other games when we own the game you are giving to plus members for free you know. THAT’S ONLY FAIR! Otherwise credit us a month of plus since we don’t get anything when that happens.

I know you have a bunch of posts, but I’m referring to this one directly. When signing up for PlayStation Plus, you get whatever they give you for free. That is the deal, you GET free stuff and benefits every month. Crediting you with a month just because *you* didn’t like something is absurd. That is self-entitlement man, very uncool.

It’s like saying you buy a membership to a video store that gives you 4 random free movies a month to digitally add to a cloud database and you can access those movies as much as you want as long as you stay a member. Keep in mind this store also sells digital movies as well on their cloud storage and lets say you have a 3 month membership you already payed for and in a whole month they give out 4 movies you already bought from then and its in their database you already bought those movies from them and the free ones don’t matter and you get nothing free that whole month that you payed for a free movie service. Then they say OH WELL I guess you miss out you already paid for them. That would be messed up. The right thing to do is give people that own the movies already multiple choice of other movies to pick from incase you already own it. Same goes for ps PLUS that’s the way it should be otherwise why are we paying for the membership if we already own all the free games?

That is EXACTLY what I’m talking about. Just because you already own a game offered in PS+, that doesn’t entitle you to an extra month or anything. That is HOW PS+ RUNS. PS+ had a number of games I already owned but were offered up as free. Oh well, tough luck, that’s part of the deal. You accept that by using PlayStation Plus. Besides, how on earth is Sony supposed to know what you have and what you don’t? Last month, they offered you free RELEASE DATE PSN games. Two in fact! So please, don’t argue that they aren’t at least offering you something for your PS+ subscription.
However, they are supposedly overhauling PS+ anyway, so your wish just may come true, watch their E3 conference tomorrow.

Ok, let me try to explain PlayStation Plus for you OK? Sony just can’t make any old game free on the PSN. Based on small details in some of their posts, the games that end up free on PS+ are agreed upon with Sony and the publishers and/or developers. That means, no, they can’t just give you another option for a free game, that doesn’t work.
Secondly, nobody is getting screwed over in a membership, you pay $4 or $6 a month for discounts and free games of their choosing, as well as getting beta access on certain games when they come around, and the automatic update feature. Nobody is getting screwed over, and if you don’t like it, simply don’t buy it. It’s that simple. Getting screwed over would be like Sony cutting ALL benefits to PS+ at random and not refunding, that doesn’t happen.
Also, stop calling people kids just because they disagree with your “truth logic.” Honestly, based on what you’ve mentioned, you personally should just simply NOT have a single account on PS+ because it clearly isn’t giving you benefits that you enjoy.
You knew what the deal was before you signed up.

This is called a discussion, I’m defending Sony because *I* believe they are doing absolutely nothing wrong. No company is perfect, and you really can’t expect a company to be perfect. PlayStation Plus isn’t perfect, and while what you said would be nice, it just can’t happen for the reasons I mentioned in post 40.
