Festivities start at 5.30pm Pacific/8.30pm Eastern/1.30am London/9.30am Tokyo. We’ll lead off with a live pre-show featuring new, exclusive gameplay demos, interviews, and previews of the press conference. We’ll wrap up with a sneak peek of the PlayStation E3 booth, which you won’t want to miss.

The press conference is just the beginning of the packed live E3 programming! SPOILER! We’re loading the schedule Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with over 30 live gameplay demos for PS3 and PS Vita, featuring brand new and unannounced titles from Sony Computer Entertainment’s vast Worldwide Studios team, as well as publishing partners such as Ubisoft, Square Enix, Capcom, NamcoBandai, and Atlus. We’ll drop in Tuesday’s schedule after the show.

On the PS3 XMB? That was a great idea. I hate having to sit in my crappy computer chair for hours to watch these things. I just hope it works.

Are we going to be able to watch this on TV?

Will G4 be airing it? They got a live stream too it seems but they haven’t showed conferences on TV yet. I’m guessing they get you guys since spike got the others?

Thanks for the ability to connect to the Press Conference directly from the XMB (I don’t use Home.). Will there be a way to watch a replay through the PS3 as well if I miss anything because, say, there are important NHL and NBA games on at the same time? ;)

What would be really nice is a TV/Video Service app like the Netflix and Amazon one that would stream all major PS/Sony conferences at E3, GDC, even some live moments for the PS tours or sponsored events etc… as they come up.

Then during the downtime it could stream trailers of the latest PS3/Vita games coming out/just released as well Pulse etc.. Not to mention a little fold out menu for up coming events. It would really help consolidate the content through one little app as well as bring it to people more easily without downloads, web browsers, etc…

Got a bad feeling about this E3. Everything seems so dismal with the crappy economies, sony’s real bad numbers and the rumor about Sega closing. (No Yakuza 5??? Arrrrrrrrrrggghhhh). Makes me sad to be a gamer, there is never any really great news anymore!

If Sega is really in danger, Sony should buy the studio RIGHT NOW. That would be a BIG HIT, because Sega has A LOT of great games in their catalog and great ideas for gamers. A new Shenmue, by the way, would be a BIG HIT.

I’m finally going to have to agree with Slickety: some of you are so young your mommie hasn’t taught you about time zones yet. If you don’t live on the WestCoast, then it’s not time yet, not until 5:30 my time. They even said in the blog what it means for Central & Eastern time.
