Thank You SONY!
And to all that are upset over ULTIMATE DEALS…. the games you purchased are COMPLETE, which means you also got an ONLINE PASS and all DLC. These new PLUS GAMES will not have the added CONTENT. So PLEASE do not bite the hand that feeds you. SONY has always and will always be very very good to us. Don’t forget this is just the beginning.

A few things but…:

Is there not a way probably in a future firmware update or just internal, but a way to sort the download list, or manage as download folders by games, dlc, music… after a lot of purchases re-download something due to HDD capacity even with a HD 320gb is really a pain to scroll down all the list.

How can we request specific games for the store, on my case would be perfect “Chocobo Racing” and Valkyrie Profile both from PS1, and Valkyrie Profile 2 for PS2.

Right now the activations for the PSN is limited to 2 systems, would0t be great this increase to 3, PSP, PS3 and PS Vita…

And of course, thanks for this big update on the PS Plus, really awesome! I’ll keep renewing after this… but additionally to this, when the PS Plus expires also some games, wouldn’t bea great idea after some time if you have continue with the PS Plus those games don’t expire… maybe a time frame of 2 years? Because with the probably PS4 all those stuff will be lost…

@90 The games are free as long as you’re a Plus subscriber, when your membership expires, so will the “free” games… since I have 9 months left, I can plat as many games of these 12 as I can :P

@102 From my understanding, games can be carried over 4 systems, 2 PS3s and 2 portable devices (2 PSPs, 2 Vitas or 1 PSP + 1 Vita).

Totally awesome! While I have the Lara Croft and Infamous 2 games this at least lets me sample Saints Row 2 (Not normally my taste), Virtua Fighter 5 (not a button masher but I do have friends visiting who are), Hard Corps Rising (Wasn’t this supposed to be like a spiritual successor to Contra on the Nintendo systems), and Ratchet & Clank. Gotta have a kids game for the lil’ ones to play with when my friends bring their kids, right?

OK, now somewhat off topic. Lara Croft & The Gaurdian of Light would be AWESOME if you guys could get S-E to port it over to the Vita. Yes, I am a Sony gamer. PS2, PS3, PSP, PSVita. I think Gaurdian of Light would be awesome on the go and the dual sticks would make it possible. C’mon, give a Vita guy something else to play with other than the ten games he has bought so far plus the pre-ordered Gravity Rush. Oh and waiting upon Marvel Pinball. I need something to kill time with on my train ride to and from work.

@ 100

When did i ever state i didnt own a Vita, or crying and complaining? Granted i dont watch anything E3 related (im just not interested) but they have been claiming that ps+ content for Psp and Vita since the psp was out (for psp content) and since before the Vita was even out.

I would think by now they could at least give us something. I mean you make it seem like the psp doesnt have any content on the PSN. they could gladly give us that since the Vita can play psp titles. I’m, just saying there is no excuse why we still dont have anything portable-wise for the PS+ content.

And just because there isnt enough content in your eyes doesnt mean the people at sony, or other sees it differently. I mean if anything they could be giving us full game trials like they do ps3 games, or giving out DLC.

Again not basing the Vita in anyway just saying they’d been telling us for months (years in the case of psp titles) that ps+ content would be coming but never deliver.

So wish Saints Row 1 was on PS3.

But this list of titles are beyond amazing. If we got these games free for the entire year, this would be incredible. But this is just for 1 month!!!

Can’t wait to see what happens in July.

Personally I prefer good discounts on games with a Plus Membership. I rather own a game than rent it.

Too bad my harddrive doesn’t have enough space for all these awesome games. Hopefully PS4 will have at least a 1TB harddrive (NOT proprietary, Sony needs to learn that just pisses all their customers off) to account for all of this downloadable content.

Morgan, is that Virtua Fighter 5 or Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown? The former was a PS3 title that didn’t have online; the latter just released and is the updated version with online.

I gotta say, thank you for the great games. My jaw literally dropped the moment Jack announced inFamous 2 and LittleBigPlanet 2 as part of free PS Plus games.

I’m abit disappointed at the same time that I own most of these games. Liked EU’s games like Outland and MotorStorm more, but maybe next time I guess.

I wanted to ask about something though, will this offer of 10 games be for this month only? Or will it be the new standard for PS Plus? If it’s the new standard to add more than 2 games (Atleast one of them should be a full PS3 Blu-Ray game), then I’ll renew my sbscription in a month time!

Absolutely glad that you guys are dropping PS Classics to get us more blockbusters! I never used or played my PS and PS2 classics on the PS3 anyways.

Any word on if this deal is available in Canada as well?
I just checked the store and I didn’t see any of these games being offered for free.

June 5th, 8:21 am

You know what I think. I am also one of those people that bought Infamous 2 days ago and now its free on plus. I’m a plus member on my main account and what you guys should do to semi make it up to us that got blackmailed to buy a game that wasn’t really a deal since a few days later you gave it free anyways to us same plus members that thought we were getting a awesome plus deal and it wasn’t awesome when it was given for free a few days later. You guys at Sony should go over our psn accounts that are plus members and bought any ultimate deals that ended up free a extra 3 months of plus added to our subscription for that miss hap of ripping us off that’s what would be fair to un slap us and make up for what you did to all of us loyal plus members that got ripped off. Yes we know we own the game but the point is I’m always going to stay a plus member so owning the game means nothing when I’d of got it free from my plus that I will always be a member of so no way I’d lose the game.

So, do you have to pay an additional 5 dollars a month along with whatever your paying for however many months your on plus, or do you get them so long as you have plus?

fabtrocks said:

This is excellent, i’ve not had a problem with the previous PS Plus monthly freebies, but this is extrodinairy, there are actual have inFamous 2 and Little Big Planet 2, i’m still satisfied, i’m sure the people who never bt them will be as well, keep this up and raise the price up a little bit.

Plus is Success!

Can you buy a playstation plus sub with just the funds in your wallet?

Also if you do that do you need a credit card at all or would just buying psn cards and using the funds in your wallet be sufficient? (i ask because that free month of PS+ that came with starhawk preorder supposedly required a credit card)

lastly lets say they have free games that I dont want can I still add them to my cart and “purchase them) and theyll still be free) but never download them… and sometime after theyre no longer free.. I decide I do wanna try them.. wouldnt be be available to download off my download list

or does download list only apply to games youve actually downloaded at least once and not games you just merely purchased?

The amount, type, and variety of free games is great, it really is.
One thing, though, and this isn’t a gripe about the Plus service, as it’s really proven its worth (and then some):

Could we get an overall enhances experience with our PlayStation system(s), as well as the free and discounted content? I’d like to see tiered subscriptions, or even adjusted content to allow for this. What I’m talking about is nearly every tab in the PS3 being address, as well as Vita content that has been heard ad nauseam.

Examples would be a “light” version of Music Unlimited for Plus members, discounted prices on Sony products that work with PlayStation products, a proper synced account between the PS3 and Vita, as well as other synced options and services.

Also, if Plus is like Netflix in that you play while you are a member, then how about we use the star rating system and the recommendation section in the PS Store to work together to provide a “Recommended for You” section in the PS Store based on type of content rated highly?

June 5th, 8:30 am

But aside from ripping me off on Infamous this is a very awesome plus update. My kids will be super happy with 2 of those games I get free now. My oldest 11 year daughter will be jumping up and down to hear she will have little big planet 2 now to play with the plank game as well. Thanks for helping me cheer her up when she gets home from school today cause she will be so excited. She’s a gamer like her dad and I’m proud of it LMAO.

@Morgan Haro
It would be fantastic if you guys brought some of these Plus features to Vita, as well as cloud saving. And as far as cloud saves go, do you guys have any plans to increase the amount of storage available? Mine has been full forever. It would be nice if you guys could raise the storage limit to at least 1GB. Even amazon offers 5GB for free.

CaptainJeff87 said:

I’ve got a suggestion for Plus if you guys want feedback. Have you guys ever thought of doing a Rewards month for Plus as opposed to the usual free games?

For example if you spend $5 you get a free theme and avatar of your choice, if you spend $10 you get two minis of your choice, if you spend $20 you get a PSN title of your choice, $40 you get two PSN titles of your choice, over $60 you get a free full PS3 game of your choice.

What would you guys think of this? Please answer if you have the time and thanks for reading this.

good idea. for now we’ll be focusing on delivering great free content for everyone. while i wouldn’t lean towards linking free content to spend amounts, we can certainly look into building a loyalty program into Plus.

Any idea how long these will be available? My PS3 died and I don’t know how long it’s gonna take for the replacement parts I got from Ebay to show up. If they aren’t going to be up long I will use a friends PS3 to add them to my account.

Simply amazing Morgan! I don’t know how you guys are pulling off all this “deal wizardry” with all the various publishers/developers for these games but Kudos! WOW! Thank you so much. I already own inFAMOUS 2 and LittleBigPlanet 2 (I bought both Collector’s Editions on launch day) and they’re both incredible games. I’m really looking forward to playing these games as soon as the store updates.

“you’ll never run out of awesome titles to play!”

Hell, you could say that even if LittleBigPlanet 2 was the only free PlayStation Plus game. Seriously, I love LittleBigPlanet 2 to death. It’s my favorite PlayStation 3 game and one of my favorite games of all time. I’m glad more people will be able to play LittleBigPlanet 2 now.

Sony Computer Entertainment is the greatest console manufacturer as well as the greatest video game publisher of all time. PlayStation for life.

Just a random suggestion, though I’m not criticizing the selection here. Playstation Plus is awesome, and I can’t wait to get back on the subscription for it.

However, the one thing I’m most worried about now that I have a Vita is paying twice for the games I want to play. I was hoping for a Playstation Plus feature that would be like Steam’s crossplay where when you purchase a game for one system, you instantly have access to the game for the other. Games like Sly Cooper, Playstation All Stars, and loads of other ports would be tons of fun with the cross functionality, but I really don’t want to buy them twice. Playstation Plus would be a great place to add this in, unless you have something else planned ;)

Anyhow, nice work, Sony. I appreciate it!

I have to say, for the last few years, my ps3 has basically just been an overpriced blu-ray player. Lately though, (and these freebies will help cement it) it’s taking over as my go to console while my 360 collects dust. Well played sony! I’m sorry I broke up with you sony. take me back?

JudgeRAW00 said:

I’m curious if the games will be available as long as we have our subscription active even if we don’t download them, as most of these games won’t fit on my(and I imagine, most) HDDs.

Twohothardware said:

June 5th, 9:06 am

I can’t believe Sony wouldn’t add MAG to this list of free titles. It’s the one Sony exclusive that would benefit most from something like this because as a multiplayer only first person shooter the game just completely dies when there are no longer enough players to launch the queues.
