  • Glad there’s no bonus for buying them all this time. Definitely not interested in Expendables, and while I do like Valve, Counter-Strike isn’t my bag. Will definitely get Sound Shapes (Guthrie!) and Papo y Yo (wasn’t this for Vita?), though. Might pick up CS:GO, just to round my Valve collection out, so good on me that it’s at the end of this list.

  • @40, yep, I’m going to jump on 3-4 of the titles. Also, KB & M are supported for the PS3! If Valve adds console commands, that’ll be fantastic!

  • I wish these free games (Gotham City Imposters and Renegade Ops) wouldn’t freeze up everytime I tried to play them. Oh….and when will we be rewarded for putting in ahis effort to achieve trophies? –Playstaion for life!

  • My current PS3 came with killzone 2, uncharted and a 3rd game I forget so I probably set/got my KZ avatar back then, haven’t touched it in a while anyway, never think to do so.

I do enjoy KZ, but casually. Got KZ3 on release, just finally got around to beating it last week. Haven’t touched the multiplayer yet.

Papo & yo I’ll keep an eye on when media is released and see if its my kind of story.

  • “PLAY Counter Strike: Global Offensive (PS3) Hardcore Action with your DualShock or PlayStation®Move controller.”

Wait, does that mean the PS3 version of CS:GO no longer has kb/mouse support?

  • Just a comment on ps1- ps2 re-releases I’d like to see: my Ps3 fat broke 7 months ago and there was 3-4 ps2 games i was STILL playing that I can’t play anymore… I had repurchased a slim and am now missing some of these games.

    PS1
    Einhander

    PS2
    Street Fighter EX3
    Capcom Vs. SNK 2
Champions of Norath (+ expansion – leave online play intact. The game is just about as a awesome as the new diablo 3 and its so freakin old; still looks beautiful too)

those are the games I can’t play anymore which I’d like to see as future downloads…+ I have a few other suggestions:

    PS2
    Baldur’s Gate Dark Alliance 1&2
    Dark Cloud

    PS1
    Jade Cacoon

  • I dunno If I’ll buy them right away, but I’m interested in Papa & yo. Will definitely be getting CS and Sound Shapes (been waiting waay too long for this one).

Have absolutely no interest in Expendables. I generally avoid movie tie-ins and will probably never play this.

  • If it wasn’t for Rainbow Moon I would have thought Sony doesn’t know the meaning of the word “RPG”.

I’ll pass on Shooter number 34505498784758578574872095.

I do look forward to Papa and yo. So at least I can see myself playing one of them.

  • when can i pre order for example counter strike global offensive?

  • Im quite surprised to see CS on here. if anything though im probably only going to get 3 of these games. i have no reason to buy Expandables 2. i never even seen the first so why bother with the second. still its nice, and i am even more surprised to see a Vita game on here. i would have thought since nothing portable was on the Summer Sale i doubt you would have something for PSN Play. Still its great, and cant wait!

  • You know, i’ll save far more by buying just the game i want. Well…. Counter-Strike Go it is for me, FOR SURE. You guys should’ve added the upcoming WAY of the Samurai 4 to this promotion. Hint hint…hint!

  • 4gLTE vita comin out soon…….mark words u heard it 1st from me

  • i was skeptical about expendables 2 but the gameplay trailer looks fun. looks like im getting all four. should have a discount for that eventuality ;). also, these games should have cross play on vita. ahhh, to be young and dream.

  • i am thinking of The Expendables 2 Videogame but i most likely wont get any

  • glad to see the play is back. I’ll have to send a message off to valve to see if keyboard & trackball support is still in cs:go and if steam support is also there.

  • So basically we were lied to last week as we were told that more free Plus items were going to be announced besides the 3 games last week. As I recall we were told all of our free items would be spread out over the course of the month, as to keep us coming back every week and boost up your site traffic. I waited a week for this? To be told I can buy a bunch of games on discount. Where’s the free stuff I paid for? Not even a free avatar or dynamic theme. I wouldn’t be so upset if you just said last week that this was it for us and the rest would be discounts only. Now I’m sure the monitors of the blog will remove my post because I’m a unhappy customer and the last time I was unhappy on here, my post was down before the end of the day. How about getting us a brand new release for free and not just discounts on it? Wouldn’t that be crazy world where the people who paid you more money for free stuff, got free stuff and not a lot of old stuff that nobody is playing anymore.

  • @22 I thought that CS: GO would have m/kb support in the PS3 version so we could try it both ways…

  • $12 for CS:GO sounds good. Will there be a demo? Not sure if I should wait and try the demo or just buy it and hope I like it and get the theme too. Are the themes dynamic?

  • @Randawg “Oh….and when will we be rewarded for putting in ahis effort to achieve trophies?”

Really? You’re gonna go there? *smh*
You don’t get rewarded for earning trophies. Earning trophies is the reward for accomplishing certain tasks in games with trophy support… >.>
Proof of entitlement run rampant right here, folks.

PSN Play looks to actually interest me this year. After watching the video, I may be buying three of these titles, and with my PS+ discount and the $6 credit I’d get at the end of the promotion, that would end up costing me only $30. That seems like a pretty sweet deal to me. I’m in for everything except CS:GO.

  • 2 games com compra certa e o preço está bom. CS é o mais aguardado, no ps3 deve ser muito bom.

  • CS:GO, this should be fun. Expendables doesn’t look too bad either.

  • @63 & 71, I am so surprised by The Expendables game… the trailer sold me! Bloody hilarious; well done getting the actors involved, Ubisoft.

  • I was thinking of just Papo & Yo and Sound Shapes (how did I miss that this was for both the Vita & PS3?) but after watching the trailer for The Expendables, i’m not sure. Might have to give that one a look.

Also, I think they missed the boat on CS:GO. When I saw that I thought, ‘Sweet! CS for the Vita!’ but sadly the GO did not mean ‘On the go.’

  • I want a racing game like Motorstorm Apocalypse like PSN EU got… its really not fair and if you guys decide to give a good game by september when everyones subscription are going to run out just so we can re subscribe to PSN + I will destroy my PS3 i dont care about hater comments. and then it goes in the garbage.

  • better yet sell it to eb – games and buy nintendo 3ds games as they are all perfect i dont mind not buying FIFA 13 by September 27 when it gets released in NA

you might delete my comments just so other people dont agree with me but all I can say is we’re tired of games that no one cares about anyymore..

  • “Four Great Games For the Summer” So you admit it’s summer now where is the Vita Update for PS1 Support? Yeah, it’s no where to be seen… I swear the Vita is like the lazy, one eyed, handicapped, little brother to the PSP.
All the potential in the world gone to waste by poor management. Releasing 1-2 lame games [If you could call them games] a month is not providing the Vita with the love it deserves and you know it!!!

Burn me once, shame on you!
Burn me twice, shame on me!
Will not be burned a third time.
I will wait to see what happens before I pluck down cash for a system that is more less half of what they [SONY] says it is.

  • i swear if u guys back out on mouse and keyboard compatibility with CS:GO im sellin my ps3 and savin up for a PC please dont F this up in tired of hearin COD , BF3 are the best fps out there games which take no skill. aside from my fustration im excited bout CS:GO but very iffy at the same time when theres no communication between Valve/HPE and the PC/PS3 Communtiy i can only guess out of blind faith that they are just workin hard to fix all the bugs n whatnot but at this time just have to wait till release Hoping the best expecting a fail like CZ but at this point as long as its NOT COD OR BF3 im more than happy to buy n play cause who am i kidding im getting it no matter what

  • Papa & Yo is a game I’ve been looking forward to since it was first announced. I love the support Sony is giving indie titles with such creative feel.

I was moved by the words by the creative director at Minority as he explained the concept behind the game and enjoyed the the gameplay videos I’ve seen so far. I would love to see some of these titles on PS VITA as well.

    I wish Minority much success.

As for CS:GO, I wanted to play the beta on pc but had controller issues and gave up. I hope there will be a demo or beta for PS3.
