It’s been quite a week for PlayStation Plus since the last time we chatted. Earlier we announced that Plus will be coming to PS Vita and that it will also be getting an upgrade in Online Game Save storage (from 150MB to a beefy 1GB). We’ll have news for you on when these will hit and what these updates will be all about soon enough; until then, let’s take a look at some of the great discounts coming in at the end of the month, and let’s welcome PS3 Full Game Borderlands into the Instant Game Collection in September! Can plus provide us with more variety in Avatars? I’m tired of using the same ol ones all the ones they come with the Playstation are terribly bad. Is it possibly for you guys to give us Uncharted 3 that would make my year but I’d easily settle for Motorstorm Apocalpyse Ultimate anyday. -_- I actually ordered that and sony got hacked and the server rollback they jacked the price too high I couldn’t afford it. :( So I ended up getting Plus for 1 year and Modnation Racers/DLCS. I ordered Blackops Ultimate and Motorstorm Apocalpyse Sony was unable to find the logs in my account and I got ripped my Full Game Purchases I was very upset. I’m satisfied with your Selection and can’t wait to play Borderlands again until I can Afford Borderlands 2.
Thanks Sony! Don’t even bother listening to those people complaining “I already have this game.” I still haven’t played Borderlands, and this is great for those of us that haven’t. Too many people on here asking for games that they want, as if PS Plus was an personal service made for each person. Sure EU maybe getting some better games right now, but in the past US had better games, and later on the US may get better games than EU. Stop complaining about these things because I’m sure it will all balance itself out. Besides EU and US are different entities, so as long we get quality games in each region, I think people should be a little more grateful. One thing I do recommend for all of PS Plus, is to include more Sony published games. Killzone 3, Resistance 3, Uncharted or even some of the older titles of Sony’s big games like Heavy Rain would seriously convince people to not only PSN Plus, but also PS3s I think. Imagine an already interested customer reading about those kinds of games available. Even Xbox Live members would be impressed and think about that yearly fee going towards those high quality exclusives.
I surprised no one is asking about GTA5 if that would go on Plus for us sometime in the near future. GTA5 is gonna be so epic.
I got a Problem! I will tell you guys don’t buy Dragon Age Origins in Plus that Game something is wrong with it! It has so much lag possibly the worst PC console port ever. I totally want a refund on my purchase but it’s Sony’s Policy all Sales are Final well I’m very annoyed that was 20 dollars I didn’t have to burn. The Game is great except for the lag thing which is a constistant problem and I thought Skyrim was bad this lag is worst than Two Worlds 2. I feel like I got ripped off from Sony and these Ripoff Gaming companies who should know better to release a game in this unfinished State. Do you think I can get a Refund this once on the game? It’s been a week or so since purchase. It’s Unplayable lag. seriously I’ve tried tweaking the ps3 to get better FPS and still nothing. This game should not be for sale in PSN in this Condition I would like PSN to remove this game so other people don’t get ripped off. I’m new to the forums and really don’t know who to tell this too or how I should work it can you MODs process my request that PSN should remove this game and if possible and you refund me on my purchase???
I would like to get Dragon Age 2 instead cause it has no known lag problems to speak off. That cost the same I would like to swap them out. I even have all the DLCS for DAO so I’m really ticked off that I just can’t play the game cause of the annoying lag problems.

Anyway to have these games downloaded to my PS3 (80 GB) and then transferred to an external HD? I cannot have all of my digital games on my PS3 HD. Please respond with either the way to be able to do this or whether or not there will be a way for us who purchased the system before the 160 and 320 GB systems came out. Thank you lots in advance! Awww, darn. I’ve already got Borderlands and all DLC. It’s an old game by now, but I’m sure it’s good timing from a marketing perspective with Borderlands 2 around the corner.
I’m shocked to hear of the continued deluge of goodies for gamers across the pond while US gamers aren’t even being thrown a couple of old PS2 classics. I still got my money’s worth from the original E3 Instant Game Collection, but I’m not feeling the PS+ love at the moment.
I’m also hoping that the induction of the Vita into PS+ will not mean further dilution of service for those of us who aren’t interested in the handheld.
the only problem i have with this update is i wasted $60 on borderlands back when it first came out and the next day i took it to gamestop and traded it because i couldnt stand it….so needless to say im gonna have to sit back and wait and see if the next update is worth it or not…another time that europe is better

ive been loyal to sony through ps1 ps2 and now ps3 i dont think im going to fall for the hub bub of ps4 because the “deals” are seeming like less and less of deals to me and more like just an easy way to make re-released ps2 titles and crappy ps3 games like the walking dead and infamous these are second or third rate games at best and sony keeps putting them on the ps+ for free well if they werent fifty bucks i might buy one resident evil 5 was the best game ive ever played resident evil 6 will be the last one i ever buy im leaving sony for either pc or xbox360 all because i paid 20 dollars to see the same nine games on ps+ for three months sony is ridiculous for that and thanks for the last fifteen years or so but i gotta go with the sensible choice

you are not looking at the big picture gaming isnt about pushing buttons its about being entertained by puzzles, good graphics,story lines that make you think youre really a part of whats going on, the urgency of beating a time limit or the nervousness of being “killed” in a game you are supposed to be able to submerge yourself into the process of playing a game and borderlands is like cod meets little big planet this game should never have been released let alone sequeled sony knows that by looking at the re-sales and returns of that game im an adult and i dont want to play childrens games i paid 300$ for the experience of gaming my kids didnt pay a dime yeah they should have something but what about people that actually spend the money shouldnt we get something? im complaining the games theyve been posting atleast for the last three months suck!

Borderlands isn’t my kind of game, neither was anything last month. I suggest you start offering more genre’s. I haven’t even touched my PS3 since july because nothing has interested me. goodbye plus.
I want to see the old school sega genesis classic Herzog Zwei and add online play. Such a simple game but so addicting.

Whoa man w8 a second what was wrong with Borderlands? It was a great coop/online post apocalpytic adventure game so what maybe it was a little dumbed down than say the big hitting titles like Fallout 3 at the time. But it offered Muitplayer and Beautiful Cell Shaded Graphics. And Claptrap. What is not to Love about Borderlands? each Game you start is different sometimes you’ll start off with superior weaponry and the game will get easy but it’s not always like that! Give it a couple of play threws I’m sure you’ll have a change of though. Borderlands is a Retail Hit and they aren’t paying me to say this! LOL!

It’s great that Borderlands is coming to PS+ this month, now where is it? I came home today and turned on my PS3 looking forward to playing it again before the sequel is released and all I see are a few sub-par games I can get. No offense, but are your previous announcements and posts false? I just renewed my subscription mainly for the fact that Borderlands was going to be on here…any more recent news on this subject?
For me games don’t get out till around 3-5 pm est. so i am in no hurry to see it this early in the morning.
I’m not really sure what everyone is fussing about. You bought the subscription knowing there would be some things you already own! Why not enjoy the free psn titles you don’t have and play a different game until something you like comes out? If you don’t like the games, go play something else. You’re not obligated to buy PS+, it’s not like its expensive, you’re paying to get free games, quit complaining.
I for one got PS+ because I saw an opportunity to get my hands on a few games I wouldn’t buy otherwise, sure I already owned a few, but I paid for them a long time ago, knowing that there would be much better deals on them down the road, so I made the choice to enjoy them then instead of now. If I do end up enjoying the rental from here, I’ll go buy a disc copy.
Anyways, I’m loving being able to finally plat Space Marine, and getting Borderlands as well is just awesome! Keep up the good work! Can’t wait to see what’s next!

some of you in patient people dont get it. sony is working hard trying to find the best free games for ps+. the game borederlands just cant happen in a snap it takes time maybe later around 3pm and 5pm or today or tommorrow. it just takes time.
Can’t wait. I got a used copy a little while back for $16. Now, from what I’m reading above, I’ll be able to get the game (free) and all of the add-ons for $10. Sweet.
Personally, I think Borderlands is a brilliant choice to be put on PS+. Others have suggested that it is cutting close to the release of Borderlands 2, which in a way is true…but it is also brilliant because of that.
People who may not have had the change to play the original will likely do so now, and should they enjoy the game, it would likely cement their choice to purchase Borderlands 2 on or near its release.
I am quite happy with these offerings. This is my first time using PS+ and so far I have been satisfied.
I think we should all take a step back and be happy we get discounts and special deals like free titles, rather than being jaded or indifferent. Just saying.

They never said what time they would update the store. So they have till close to 12:00 am. And like someone said for me they don’t update till around 5pm est for me at least.
