  • JET SET RADIOOOOO about damn time now we just need shenmue 1 and 2

  • Thanks for the additions to the vita ps1 store! I was looking forward to playing XS Junior League Dodgeball. I was a fan of super dodgeball from SNES when I was a kid, and this looks really similar!

  • Morgan this plus update was so awesome 1 retail game and 2 psn titles and avatars wow that was awesome anyway Im really looking forward to get a full retail game next month and Keep Up The Good Work

  • It just seems like “lets just spread the PS1 classics out to replace the lack of Vita content” to me…..Honestly, I love the device but its hard “advertising” it to my friends and then going “oh well I haven’t seen a new game I wanted since Resistance…..and there are hardly any apps for it too.” Look what that did to the Zune HD……

  • @97 Wow, that’s your logic? Sony’s digital pricing is almost laughably overpriced, and your justification is that we can put it on up 2 consoles (which, btw, most ppl do not possess). LOL! Thanks for the laugh.

  • Just finished installing Double Dragon: Neon, Scoot Pilgram and the YouTube app for Canada.

  • Where’s Machinarium ? It’s hidden somewhere in the search engine, but no front page?

  • Also a complaining side note from me now. Where is our digital copy of Nascar the game 2011 that has been on the UK psn for purchase for like 3 or 4 months now? Its a AMERICAN racing sport so why isn’t it here digital? Makes no sense, it would sale like hot cakes here. Anyways, can someone message me on my main psn account SLICK _T and let me know how I go about getting a UK psn card so I can buy Nascar the game 2011 off my UK psn account I made. I heard we can buy stuff off different regions and still play them here in the usa. Is that true? What website do I got to so I can buy a psn uk card code to buy off the uk psn? I may get Plus from them from now on since they get all the good stuff. Does this work buying from the usa a uk psn card and using it on our psn downloading their services and such? Will the games work on our ps3’s here in the usa? I’m just sick and tired of waiting for nascar the game 2011 to hit the usa psn store. I’m a digital only gamer and sold my disc copies of the games ages ago and I want the digital copy now but psn blog people here are like in slow mo on releasing digital content that is else where. If anyone can help with info it would be great.

  • Great updates this month! I am almost through Borderlands (a little late getting around to it!), and should have SPvsTW and DD Neon beaten before 10/2! Looking forward to great updates over October and the Holidays!

Please keep treating us Plusers as well as you did this month!

  • I heard Ecolibrium was coming out today or any word when it will be ?

    http://www.destructoid.com/build-an-ecosystem-for-free-with-ps-vita-s-ecolibrium-234760.phtml

  • what’s up with the missing borderlands 2 pre order ?

its been up 4 the europeans
NA needs it as well! D:

  • What’s up with this 10% off PSN deal? 10%.. really? What happened to 30%, 50%?
Getting 1 dollar off a $10 game just doesn’t appeal to me. That’s like sales taxes to us in New York.

Also, it’s safe to say that everyone who cared to play Scott Pilgrim probably already owns it by now (myself included) and Double Dragon Neon doesn’t look nearly as good as the original arcade version from the 80’s.
I can fully understand why they are giving it away for free. I don’t know what happened to Way Forward, and why they aren’t bringing their best game (Shantae: Risky’s Revenge) to PSN.

  • thanks for all the free games, I have so many games to play, its great!

  • Pretty much the only good games on that list are Harvest Moon and ReLoaded ( the first one was still much better) The rest are either butchered adaptations or just crap games.

Whatever strategy Sony has been devising, it’s not going to work. People who have a PS3 already bought the PS1 games they want for the vita, not some spoon-fed shovelware ¬¬ . And Vita only users aren’t going to fall for this because there’s ZERO appeal in what they’re offering, and are instead going to wait for the good titles to come out.

At most they’re going to get like 1,500 sales for each of those pieces of shovelware. Is Sony that desperate for some chump change??

  • the walking dead epi 3 may come to plus yet?

  • Really ? Tekken Tag Tournament 2 came out today and you guys didnt add avatars for it ? but have billions of Street Fighters 1’s….smh add Tekken avatars Sony

  • Thanks for Youtube Canada !

  • Leon Scott Kennedy says thank you for YouTube app in Cdn! ;)

  • Lackluster release for the Vita guys. I won’t sit here and complain, I’ll just wait for Crash Bandicoot to finally get here. Until then, I guess I just have my small coppection to play.

  • Can someone at Sony please answer this question already? What’s going on with GTAIII? We were told it would be out and on that day we were told it won’t be because of a licensing problem with one song. So when is it coming out? Someone should have some kind of answer on this. Get together with Take Two or Rockstar and get an answer.

  • @breakfest Yeah that is exactly what I’m saying. I will laugh at you for thinking they should charge the same sales price a disc copy has when with disc you only get one copy of the game unless your one of those fools that illegally makes copies of it. All you people that complain about digital hate digital in general cause you can’t trade digital games off. If you people aren’t going to keep the games then just rent games then cause you pawnshop and trading people is why developers are charging us the 10 dollar online pass fees. I say they need to go digital only cause everyone and their dog has internet these days I mean COME ON. Digital is the future even if you like it or not. You better start getting use to digital and its pricing. I think its pricing is fair and when they release a digital game for 60 I just wait till it goes down or goes on a plus sale. Not hard to do at all.

  • When can we expect Frobisher Says, Ecolibrium or Wake Up Club for Vita? Europe already has or is getting these apps tomorrow.

  • It’s kind of obvious at the point that they are releasing the less than decent PSOne Classics (XS Sports? Pfft) for the Vita.
My guess is they are planning on making money on those again. Crash Bandicoot Trilogy for the Vita anyone?

  • @LIGHTNING_FEAR: If Sony were to go all Digital with their crappy pricing I’d just drop them completely. Steam is proof that it can be done a whole hell of a lot better.

  • I noticed that when I search for Wipeout for PSN, it’s still an “instant access” game for PS +. Why not highlight it in the PS + section/tab?

  • WOW great update for ps3 today well for me anyways lol Youtube for ps3,F1 demo,Double Dragon Neon FREE …And also tonight the update for Online Game Save Storage to 1GB and also VITA 3G i already have a vita wifi oh well will need to buy another one, grab one for my B-Day!

    SONY ROCKS

  • I take that PSOne list as an insult from Sony. Knowing what Europe has on the store… this is just unbelieavable.

  • Still didn’t see the update from my VIta, when will it be live?

  • + Sevyne on September 11th, 2012 at 2:03 pm said:
I’m not talking PC. I’m talking ps3 Sevyne. I am not a pc gamer so its stupid to compare.

  • Please tell us if buying Jet Set Radio on the PS3 will enable cross-play for the Vita once that version comes out or not? Thank you!!! :) If that’s the case I would buy this right now!

  • Plus to game on pc with most decent games it would cost you over a grand for a GOOD gaming pc. PS3 for its hardware to play its software is a LOT CHEAPER to get started than pc gaming anyways.

  • I keep waiting for the TWISTED METAL in store lol, thanks for everuthing sony

  • @108 Yes you can play the games you buy on the europe store no problem. I got Syndicate Wars for PS1 there. Just buy the UK $ code on eBay and enter the code when you log in your UK account.

I’m sick of playing Magic 2013 already, when the new decks will release?

  • I loved Jet Set Radio on the Dreamcast. Guess it’s time to go back and get some trophies. =)

Sega knows its stuff. If only more publishers were aware of their amazing classics. They could get a lot of money out of guys like me.

  • @132 – Have you ever built a gaming pc?

I built one earlier this year, and can play any game on the market right now with absolutely no issues. I spent about $800 total on it – and only THAT much because I didn’t recycle any parts at all; not even a keyboard.

I don’t normally come on here for this kind of thing, but it irks me that console-exclusive gamers tend to have so many wrong ideas about PC gaming. The case of Steam is still a relevant one because their digital market is competing with the retail market as well. There’s absolutely not a reason why Sony couldn’t do the same.

  • Four side-scrollers in the instant game collection is way too much.

The initial game collection was great, even if the only game I didn’t own and had interest in was Warhammer. The first batch of replacements (Gotham, Renegade Ops, and Pacman) was great too. Lots of variety.

It’s gone downhill pretty quickly. Borderlands is good (even though I already own it), and Walking Dead would be nice if it wasn’t only 2/5 of a complete game, but four side-scrollers is terrible. Four of the sixth games are side-scrollers.

Mix it up a little. All three games each month should be from different genres.

  • Are we not getting Borderlands 2 on PSN because Gamestop and Best Buy have exclusivity with their preorder with the Premiere Edition? because the EU don’t have those stores so they’ve got the Premiere Edition on their PSN instead.

This is BS. No one wants to buy from Gamestop, we want to buy it on PSN. If we can’t preorder, AT LEAST give us a date on when it’s going be on PSN.

  • Europe has this, Europe has that, man some of you guys are so irritating

  • Know what else Europe has? Awesome food. You don’t see me complaining. Oh wait.

  • Ecolibrium
    Frobisher
    Wake up club

Sony, these are already in english and ready to go yet you choose to have weeks with NOTHING for vita… please give your WONDERFUL handheld some love :)

  • how about some new dragon’s dogma goodies? if anybody can spare an ascalon or the dragon’s dogma sword i’d be greatful

  • Avatars request:

    -Dragon Ball Z

    PS2 classics request:

    -Batman begins
    -Star Wars bounty hunter

  • Also Star Wars Avatars!

  • pretty boring but im dying for some borderlands2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Reaaally great update for me. This is my first month as plus member and i doesnt regret it one bit. Greetings from Argentina!.

  • The new formatting you’ve done for these store updates is really nice. Everything’s compartmentalized and there’s no risk of missing something you might be looking for because it’s sandwiched between everything else. Keep it up!

    • glad you appreciate it! Kristine Steimer gets these posts looking nice and neat every week; I think they’ve come a long way since last year =)

  • So where is our Ground Zeroes trailer that premiered 2 weeks ago? Would like to see it on my big TV in all of its glory.

  • Decent update but the IGC is still not worth it as a whole.

  • So I guess I’m going to have to preorder Borderlands 2 from the UK store =/

I have a old fat ps3 thats been going strong and I have to get digital games if possible to keep it alive since I know Borderlands 2 will demand long sessions.

Its kind of messed up to give UK a preorder for a AAA game and not the US.

  • My poor vita. It is sobbing and waling in pain.I hug it and say it will be ok. But all I hear it say is my father sony hates me,why does he hate me. I try to comfort my vita but nothing is helping.I fill so sorry for it.
