  • Wd have a problem with update 4.25. The cloud storage is still 150 mb. I tryed resetting 3 times and saving to cloud on my main account and it still says 150 mb. I guess that update was a fluke.

  • Where’s the Little Big Planet 2 Cross-Controller DLC?

  • Hey PlayStation Nation, I hate to interupt your gaming but, i hope you all took the time today to give 5 minutes of silcence for those victims that lost thier lives in 9/11/01 as today is the 11 year anniversary of 9/11

  • Jet Set Radio / PsVita / Cross buy / PsPlus Discount

    Hey guys!
I was wondering, If we purchase Jet Set Radio as Ps Plus member with the early access discount, will we get the Vita version for free?

Thanks for the updates! Keep up the amazing work!

  • Morgan, man, help us Vita fans. Convince us that SCEA has got our backs with this system. It feels like, week after week, Vita gets the short (minuscule even) end of the stick. 20 or so mediocre PS1 classics that very little to nobody wants to play. Why was it decided that THOSE games would have compatibility priority over the dozen or more games that we are actually waiting to play. Where are there so few PSN games for Vita? They should be coming out all of the time. The system was announced almost two years ago, it’s been out for 7 months here in the US, and we only have twenty, TWENTY, PSN games. Why are there NO Vita exclusives being worked on by SCEA teams? This sounds an alarm in my head when I think of it. Other systems, including the PS3, have new games to look forward to every week, yet it’s normal to go several weeks of PS Store updates without a single Vita game.

There are countless reasons for us to feel like SCEA has all but given up on the Vita, and you’ve done nothing to make us believe otherwise.

  • The work you’ve all done on PS Plus, it’s great. PS3 has an excellent selection of retail and PSN games, and as a PS3 fan, that makes me happy. But as someone who has spent more time on my Vita than PS3 since I got it, I get upset every week when I see that huge list of content, with little to nothing of it on Vita.

  • Battlefield 3’s Premium pass is months away from completion and yet EA decided to release a complete bundle now?! Am I the only one who feels seriously cheated, having paid in full for the premium pass once it became available?

  • I’d like to know in advance – how many more times are you going to try and “give away” Scott Pilgrim?

We’ve had the opportunity for it free 5 or 6 times now over the last 3 years – and you’re now trying to use it as a place holder (again) for what is obviously a lack of content for September Plus members.

PS Plus has been offered this game at least 2 times now – as well as twice for the promotion where users vote for best game of that year, etc.

    Get some new content for pete’s sake. It’s 2012 – not 2009.

  • Hey Morgan, do you think there’ll be ps2 support sometime down the road for the vita? i would kill to play some gta3 and vice city on the go. I hope its in the works. I’m glad to see someone from sony with the balls to reply and answer questions, esp. the negative ones. so kudos to you for that.

  • There was a picture not to long ago of Red Dead Redemption and (I think) Oddworld: Strangers Wrath HD for free on PS+. Was that fake, for a different region, or of things to come?

  • I just played double dragon neon and Scott pilgrim… It’s just as I thought… Two 2D side scrolling pieces of $#!+
Hey Grace you might be the worst store director ever. How about doing us all a favor and quit…you will never regain my respect.

  • So far the Youtube app isn’t working for me. It sits there with a spinning icon in the bottom right but nothing ever seems to come up beyond that. If I try and quit out of it, my machine ends up beeping, signs me out of PSN and restarts / reloads XMB. :\

  • + Hado666 on September 11th, 2012 at 6:03 pm said:
So, let me get this straight, PS+ EU gets Dead Space 2 (Full Game), Deus Ex HR (Full Game), Motorstorm Apocalypse (Full Game), Darksiders 1 (Full Game), Red dead Redemption (Full Game), Oddworld Stranger’s Wrath and Machinarium (at the end on the month), on top of everything we got on PS+ US too.
So their collection got 8 NEW full games and we got borderlands and a bunch of PSN games (not good ones, except maybe Outland). Oh and they got Retro/Grade free too, while we have to pay for it.
I’m not counting those 2 episodes of Walking Dead because that was obviously a rip-off, giving plus subscribers only 2 episodes of an 5 episode story. Right, see what you did there sony….
Really guys, give me back my money or give me a reason to stay, Europe got 8 new reasons and counting. I’m tired of being dissapointed…

    I AGREE 100%

  • I.WANT.MY.CROSS-CONTROLLER.AND.MY.REMOTE.PLAY.HOLY.F’IN.COW.MY .VITA .IS.A.DUSTY.BRICK.WITHOUT.THESE.THINGS.AND M REEEALY TIRED OF WAITING FOR SOMTHING THAT WAS ADVERTISED AS EXISTING WHEN THE THING CAME OUT.

  • YES IM DOING THIS ON MY PS3!
Anyways i wanted to spend my $20 fast so i got the Sonic the Hedgehog Ep 4 avatar bundle & Counter Strike : GO & a costume for LBP oh yeaaa

  • I thought Double Dragon Neon was going to be released with online co-op dubbed “bro-op”? If they don’t release a patch enabling this feature then that would be the worst thing they could do (or not do) for this game. I was kinda looking forward to DDN up until I couldn’t find the online lobby. I’m very disappointed in the differences between and EU and NA PS+ games. Why not give each area the same games? You can’t say “It couldn’t be done”. It would just take a little planning ahead and some communication. That way we can play with our EU friends when it comes to the MP games and no one would feel like the “step-child” watching the other get the better stuff and being jealous about it. Why should one area keep getting great stuff every month and the other get the shaft repeatedly? Makes no sense. You had to of seen the uproar about this subject coming.

  • I’m downloading Double Dragon Neon and Jet Set Radio as we speak. So freaking exciting!
That aside,… is the digital version of La Pucelle: Tactics still the same as the one that was released 2004? In other words… is it still being unnecessarily CENSORED?

  • @74
Give us HuluPlus first then we are going to talk about that ;D lol

  • @212
    Rude radioheaded rat

  • While I understand that different regions have different deals with publishers. IMO games that Sony publishes themselves should be the same for PS+ in both regions. The only Sony title they got in the EU that the US doesn’t have is Motorstorm Apocalypse, I don’t really see any reason we don’t have this title in the US market…

  • I downloaded Double Dragon neon and Scott Pilgrim. Will probably pick up Jet Set Radio too and maybe even La Pucelle soon too!

  • Word to the rest of the community, I was having trophy sync issues with Double Dragon, and it appears it is the game itself, some sort of bug in it, downloaded on a previous PS3 60GB, had an issue called customer service, tried to resolve it, other titles work fine but this one, if you try to sync from the xmb using the trophy icon it causes an error, just finished the download on my slim model and same thing occurred. Different internet service as well. Tested before hand with another title and my trophy data was fine. So lets hope they release some sort of patch? Anyone else having this issue with the game please let Sony know seems I cannot get a hold of Majesco customer service or anything.

  • The blog has been taken over by entitled children who probably got their PS+ subs for free at E3.

  • ehh this week’s avatars aren’t appealing to me

  • Good Stuff, Thanks!

  • I thought that you guys said that you were going to avoid mixing the Free content with the major Plus sales stuff…

Yet Scott Pilgrim, Outland and Far Cry 2 were all on sale in May?

    https://blog.playstation.com/2012/05/15/ubisoft-sale-deep-discounts-on-psn-starting-today/

I also thought we would finally be seeing more full retail games this month, since we were just seeing mediocre PSN download games for a very long streak. I realize we got Borderlands, and that’s nice and was a good way to get publicity for Borderlands 2, but it didn’t really make up for the lack of retail games we’ve been seeing.

Obviously Darksiders 2 attempted the same thing when they gave the original to EU plus subscribers. I do wish we could get the original Darksiders here in the US as well. Also would also be nice to see Dead Space 2 and maybe Motorstorm Apocalypse?

  • btw I LOVE Double Dragon. I love these beat em ups and this one FOR FREE does me well! Will be playing it for awhile!!! If you haven’t yet GET IT. It will even be patched with online co-op soon!!

  • Yes two Beat’em ups and Double Dragon doesn’t suck! I’m happy for the month :-)
But I wouldn’t hate some Deals on One Piece:Pirate Warriors, Tokyo Jungle and LBP Vita ;-)

  • When we will see PSN+ Discounts & free games on Vita?

  • @PHISHMANIAC

You’re an ass, and you should be banned.

It’s fine if you want to bash the games if you don’t like them, but you have no reason whatsoever to attack Grace. Show some respect to the lady, she never did you any harm.

All you spoiled little brats need to get a clue. These are just video games. Stop acting like every little thing you don’t like is the end of the world. Stop threatening to cancel your Plus membership. Who cares. Just do it and shut up about it. You’re not as important as you think. And the most laughable part is that you don’t even realize what a tiny, insignificant speck of the Plus community you guys on here comprise. You crybabies probably represent less than one tenth of one percent of all Plus subscribers. The other 99.9% are just fine with the service because they’re not spoiled twirps. Now, who do you think Sony would rather cater to? The 99.9%, or the classless and whiny 0.1% who post on this blog?

  • I’ve been debating picking up La Pucelle: Tactics for a long time. Great to see it available as a PS2 Classic!
    Very cool, Sony!

  • @230

Youre not behaving the same as him. If anything the IGC caters to people who dont spend as much as opposed to those who do. I’d hate to be the person that owns %50 or more of these “free” games being given out. Also Id hardly call the percentage of people discontent w/ the service 0.1 either.

  • @189 Jvhelraiser: yes, you can do that. Create your own account on your cousin’s PS3. Then buy a PS1 game & download it. Do NOT install it on the PS3. It has to remain the installer package. Then launch Content Manager on your Vita & follow the steps to copy games from the PS3 to your Vita. Here’s a little warning, contrary to the official instructions, I have to launch Content Manager before I connect the cable to my PS3. It gives me an error message if I connect the cable first, so you might have to try it both ways to see what works for you. All of my PS1 & PSP games have copied over just fine.

  • @224 Blakseed & 230 Primero: the 3 of us have been on this blog for a long time now & it’s always been like this. Didn’t David Jaffe say on a blog cast that when he reads the blog, most of it is people trashing Grace?

Every time Playstation adds a feature I literally think: oh, no, something new that the perpetual whiners will complain about next month. I am very happy about the huge increase in the cloud but of course it just brings out more whiners.

  • @ SLICkETY (sorry, forgot your current pseudo), the cloud was increased if you updated but you have to click on the cloud folder & then it will change to show the 1 gig. That’s what I did.

  • @ 204 Killzone79: yes, thank you for your comment. I know I have been thinking about it a lot today. At work someone sent me a slide show of excellent but very disturbing photos of 9/11, including ones you don’t see often, of desperate people jumping out of the Towers.

I’m from So Cal & it bothered me that very few people here talk about 9/11 at all. I imagine it’s very different for East Coasters.

  • Hey Morgan Haro when do we get the BIG DEAL out of the instant game collection. Ya’know the big cheese, what will top off everything you guys have offered us PS+. Give me feedback.

  • I would really love to see MW2 in the instant game collection because I don’t want to buy it used because its usually scratched or damaged even when cleaned. I really love to see some Kill-zone in there too. Hey can you guys release more avatars of anime like Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, Bleach, Soul Eater. We need more options in the PlayStation store that can also give all gamers more to look forward too and spend there money. I love PlayStation my family has been playing your systems forever. Give us more and keep all gamer loyalty.

  • Not a bad update.

  • Excellent job guys but can you work on crancking out more PS2 games as well?

  • I would just Like to say Hello to all….Most of the comments on here are good and bad….I won’t give my two cent even though I paid to give it….Enjoy your day all…Don’t forget about the 4.25 system update and the 1G for cloud….

  • Anyone else notice Max Payne 3 is listed TWICE with TWO different discounts but they both equal the same amount?
It is listed under Discounts for 33% off AND under Last Chance for 10% off .. both equal $40.49!
Can anyone figure out how 33% and 10% off can both come to the same price?

I’m happy update 4.25 came out and Plus members now have a 1GB cloud back-up!

  • Wouldn’t it be great to play Double Dragon on the Vita

  • Thanx for the Cloud Memory increase!!! Please, allow us to use the old youtube or at least attempt to fix the Buggy NEW youtube App. Thank You

  • @230 I really don’t care what you think. You are the one in the minority, 95% of the plus community thinks grace is doing a piss poor job at running the store for America. I have received hundreds of messages to my account saying they agree with me. As to your ban statement, you do realize that you can make unlimited accounts on a computer right. I will never be silenced…. I will continue to post the facts…

  • @245 “I have received hundreds of messages to my account saying they agree with me”??? LMAO really bro?

  • I have 259 games in my games/trophy list. I have spent thousands of dollars on Sony and ps3. So I think I am entitled to speak my mind on whatever I feel needs to be said….

  • I bought the Battlefield 3 Premium Bundle yesterday and have been unable to down load the map packs from the ingame store. Does anyone know what the problem is? Also it does not have the premium option ticked in te game as well, even after redownloading the Premium unlock key.

  • @246 Yes a couple hundred people sent messages looking to sign a petition to replace the ps plus NA manager

  • I would like to see the “Tokyo Etreme Racing” & perhaps “Street Racing Syndicate” on PSN best PS2 games & a Socom 2,3, and maybe “Combined Assault” back to it’s glory days in HD. I would also like to know wether we will get any ps2 games to play for the PsVita with more older Ps2 & Ps1 titles that were very popular on PS2.
