Big update! Thanks team!
so…. FIFA 13 gets a pre order… and Resident evil 6 not?… well… besides that.. good update, I will get borderlands 2 digital, but after Resident evil 6
Not sure what everyone else thinks but I’d like the PS+ updates to be spread out. It makes every week feel special and exciting. That being said I still really enjoy PS+ even if this week was rather tame in comparison. Keep up to great work guys.
Thanks for the feedback! We are looking at different ways to communicate our Plus updates.
Bought MK for Vita for $15 new from Best Buy and release LBP PS Vita already!
You might be able to find it in stores now, or you can download it digitally next week (9/25).
Just curious, is there any chance the PSP versions of Final Fantasy I & II will ever come out on PSN? I don’t know why North America’s PSN doesn’t have them, but they’re up on the Japanese and European PSNs.
Thanks!
Where’s GTA III?
Yay! Thank you! :)
RE6 demo!! best thing about this week’s update! i really can’t wait for the game
Great, now if only you guys would fix the issues with the PSN servers and the sudden decrease in download speeds then maybe I could actually download something form this update without it taking a whole day.
Finally!!!! Waited forever for this update… Fifa 13 preorder AND Borderlands 2 in one store update!!! *faints*
Hopefully PSN releases like Borderlands 2 won’t be so disappointing next time and we will be able to pre-order and get pre-order bonuses. No more half measures!!!
damn that took for ever but thanks sony for update
i really don’t care when the store updates because i have patience and don’t care as long as i get the content eventually but i was just wondering if any of you can answer a question i have
why is a big game like borderlands 2 not something that can be preloaded or played at midnight as that would encourage or interest people that might bite the bullet and buy it digitally?
also why isn’t RE6 available for pre-order? :(
a decent update.
Excellent!! Great work! Keep it up sony/playstation (relax eaither way im still a customer and fellow playstation fan).
Any plans to bring more PSP titles to the Vita?
Looong list :O
Where is Grand Theft Auto 3, Vice CIty and San Andreas on PSN? I hope your great team at Sony considers it for a future release.
@5 GTA III is being released next week.
Great update! But is there any great game coming for +? I wouldn´t mind getting GTA IV on the next update, rsrs.
Besides that, I will surely get hooked on FIFA, so great week!
There’s some great Plus content coming in the next few weeks (multiple awesome games actually). I know it’s a tease, but by next Monday we’ll have a great announcement for Plus, and more to come thereafter.
Just wondering… What happened to the Pinball Arcade pack that was slated for release today? Kristine? Morgan? Any info?
…
Today on the PlayStation store for the Europeans they get to download PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale’s beta and we do not :-( another sad week for us :-( I’m still very hopeful that will start getting better stuff as the month roll-on!. time to download my theme
Plus…. has nothing again.
Have noticed that major releases tend to push pack the store updates from the now normal (and great) 1200pm (pacific) to much later in the day; very disappointing.
Using Borderlands 2 as an example for the push towards elimination of retail disks and going all digital there needs to be some major changes; The ability to pre-order with bonus incentives, offer midnight release of the game or (even better) pre-download with game unlock download at midnight, some type of PS+ advantage would be nice. There should also be some type of price break to pass on the manufacturing and distribution savings as well as incentivizing the purchase of digital content.
Great feedback, will certainly pass this along to our teams. :)
The Rock Band Track packs are 50% off, not 10%
Little disapointed with FIFA13 pre order. I tought that we would be able to download the full game to activate it on sept 25, just like they did with Mass Effect 3 :/
@ Kristine
Can I download my Little big planet Vita preorder costumes yet??
Yes you can! I just downloaded mine :D
Hey Playstation,
Is it possible to put any of these on sale next week?
AC Revelations Lost Archive DLC.
PoP Epilogue DLC
Sonic 4 (both Episodes)
All the Asura’s Wrath DLC when bought together
Limbo
Castle Crashers
I only ask because it’s my birthday tomorrow XD
If not, will they go on sale soon?
So no LBP to the Sony faithful, if I hadn’t already loaded $50 onto PSN I might be tempted to break my all digital pledge.
How about next big release the digital version comes out before the disk?
LBP Vita was released by retailers early, (it was originally supposed to come out on the 25th), so this is sort of a special case scenario.
UHHHH….. I just went and bought jet set radio and then it came up as 6KB download. then I read closely and it said it was to unlock the full game, but there is not trial for the game or anything like that. So why is there and option to unlock the full game? And yes it charged my account $9.99, the full price. And if there is an option where do I find it because I have been looking and can’t find it, and now feel as if I had just been robbed.
Looking into this now!
UPDATE: The unlock Jet Set Radio key was the only thing that was live from approximately 3:30pm to 5:30pm yesterday (Tuesday, 9/18) . Any users that purchased the version that had only the unlock will be able to receive the full version of the game by downloading the demo from the storefront (we are in the process of preparing the demo for a special publish today). We’ll let you know what the time is when it’s determeind/ when the special publish is live. >
FYI folks having this issue — you can now download the stand alone demo (can be found in Demos –> New Releases) and everything should work! Apologies for the inconvenience.
I always enjoy new dynamic themes. Nice reductions on Lego games for PSP/Vita. Thank you.
ugh why is there never any good games on sale or on price drop…. i hate ps store north america. >:(
Re6 Demo for me! :) Also happy to see a decent group of psone classics to the Vita instead of what we saw last week. Also heard a rumor that GTAIII is coming next week, any truth to that?? Any info would be apreciated, thanks!
NOOOO Psn game sales … are you KIDDINGGG mee ? what ah Terrible update. nothing at all. owell i guess i can save extra money for tokyo Jungle thats comming out soon on PSN. blahhh
PS Blog Tokyo Game Show coverage tonight?
Playstation “freebies” feel a little dry this months, hoping for a a better update next week..
@Snake eyes: I thought all Plussers got the PSASBR beta long ago? I deleted it weeks ago after I got my *ss kicked first as fat princess & then as Sly. It was looking pretty good though & that was long ago.
Cool to see the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale videos up in the store!
@19 re: GTA III. Highly doubtful.
i need Tokyo Jungle where can i pre-order!
Hey, thanks for the SSX trial. Will definitely try it.
I only wish there was a demo for LBP Vita.
Will there be a TGS stream on the Blog or PSN?
We won’t be live streaming here on the PS Blog, but you might be able to find live streams on other media outlets.
@16 I would like to second agentGOP’s question: will we get more PSP titles compatible for Vita?
Nevermind my question. I just learned that the pack was pushed back a week… with a “should be” attached to the Sept. 25 release date. So I guess it’s still not set in stone…
#31
Same thing has happened to me friend. He’s over here going through emotional break down moments since he also bought JSR but it only came with a 6KB download but for the full game unlock. Can’t play the game at all. :V
not that i don’t love the instant game collection and the free full games, but will PS+ be getting anymore free minis, PS1, or PS2 games?
Look at this crap, not one good thing for PS+ users.
