Errr… dude, the last 3 are LEAVING PS+ and other than Red Dead Redemption, US PS+ also had LC&TGoL and Saints Row 2.
With that said… Uncle Shadowfox… it’s over. NFL Blitz vs Resi 5 (Gold Edition no less), Bulletstorm, and Hell Yeah! is just unfair.
I know there will be more coming in the next few weeks, but as of now, I’m gonna go cry in a corner. Never thought I’d see the day when Sony would make me sad.

NFL? Every week I’am hopeful, that the update is going to be good. And every week it’s like a kick in the balls. Right now, I think, Sony won’t be giving many of us any motivation to renew our subscriptions. Borderlands was a good deal ( I already had it, mind you), but one game cannot make the “Instant Game Collection”. So, please, Sony think about this.
I want to see less first person shooters. I tried them all. I played Gotham City imposters and Borderlands. Just not my style game. I didn’t like them at all. I am not into sports games either. So NFL blitz doesn’t interest me at all.
I like games like Arkham City, infamous 1 and 2, Assassin’s Creed, red dead, Tron, LA Noire, Alice, even the Lego games, etc.
I think we need more games like those.
I’m a huge NFL fan so Blitz isn’t a terrible choice. What I’m really bummed about is EU getting Hell Yeah! That game looks awesome.

Having read all these posts over several months since becoming a plus member, I am beginning to think sony is not listening to the US plus members. It does seem Europe is getting better games.
I admit the game collection was not the main reason for getting plus, but it just needs to give me something I want to play. I am not seeing the value of the plus when it comes to the games. I like the online storage of game saves since i have two ps3’s (would be better if you could use the space for other things too), but is that worth what I spent? I am still deciding that. Guess which way am leaning.

THAT’S IT, I’m definitely moving to European PS+ next week. After ANOTHER disappointing week – the 4th or 5th in a row (i lost track) – and seeing what EU PS+ got, I made up my mind and go to the old continent. Seems they do care about subscribers feedback. I’m just fed up with the “I think you’ll be pleased with next week’s announcement.” which ends up being a lame update, this week’s being the LAMEST in the past few months.
The next thing you know they’re going to give us the PlayStation All-Star Battle Royale Beta that by this late in it’s stage it’s probably a demo even though they’ll call it a beta just so we can think that we are actually testing something that they are probably wrapping up already anyway. here you go US you get something that everybody has already tried out

Only reason I got a full year playstation plus service was that I was under the assumption that every month we would get amazing content like Borderlands, Infamous 2, or LBP 2.
But I was wrong, and am starting to regret the choice of getting it.
At this rate I’m thinking of just giving away my one month play station plus card (that I got with God of war sage) to a friend. Seems really unlikely that we’ll get anything close to an actual full retail game that still has any relevance today.
And same here, I’d rather not waste my hard drive space with that BS Blitz game…

Morgan, I just had a thought and I’d like to know your opinion (or anyone else who reads it). While I’ve benefited from the IGC and freebies greatly, there have been several games become free that I already own – I bought Scott Pilgrim two weeks ago, haha.
With that being said, to assuage the feeling of those who, “already own all these old games,” what if there was a system in place where if a user already owns several of the games offered up in the weekly/monthly updates they receive some money in their PSN wallet to somewhat compensate them. That way it will curb the “wait and see if it becomes free approach,” and adds a little flexibility for us. I would say make it where if you own, say, 5+ of the games already you can choose a PSN title, but that would be hectic and probably not possible to work out with every game company.
Anyone like this idea?

All right guys we are doing a good job since E3, let think about what we need in october update. Ow yes, it’s the month of Resident Evil 6, then we could give RE5 to the subscribers, it’s a good game and if they like it, they can buy RE6. And of course, let’s give them some other games like bulletstorm.
US staff:
Let’s prepare a surprise for them!!! first week BLITZ!! Second week Minis!! Third week Ps1 classics maybe. And finaly the last week, the big surprise, TETRIS, they will love it.
I would love for you to work out the issues with releasing the Arkedo series. Europe has had them forever. NA needs them.

Oh lol. Again. EU get some cool games and US get old cheap PSN trash with: “WAIT AND SEE NEXT WEEK”. And what will be next week? Right, some cheap PSN game and “WAIT AND SEE NEXT WEEK”. In August there was only one good game (Borderlandse), when EU get some solid FULL PS3 games EVERY week. Not PSN trash. I think Sony must fire US plus managers and hire several from EU.Do not pay attention to fans 3 months is too much Sony. Morgan, I read your replies on weekly PS+ updates, but I think it’s best that you go back to announcing all the games at the start of the month cause the comparison is just too devastating when you announce 1 game on week 1, and then EU PS+ announces everything all at once. It’s a psychological thing.

Still, I cannot disagree with the rest that the quality (and quantity) of the games since June has been pretty lackluster. I defended you July and August. I didn’t have enough reason to defend you in September. Right now, I feel really sore like the rest of them.
I believe another reason is the way these updates are announced. Can anyone tell me, in the 3 months since IGC was announced, which were the games that got swapped out? We knew it will be 3 games out, 3 games in. The EU PS+ updates always made it clear at the start of the month which 3 will go, and which 3 will replace them. The shift to weekly PS+ announcements negates this, hence it makes us (or me at least) lose track of how many and which games were getting replaced.

Europe will still have better games for PS Plus then us.
This month alone, Europes content will be better then our current and future months.
We’ll get 4 full retail games which are actually playable within the next 12 months while Europe already had 4 playable games within this month.
I still remember, before July, every month when the PS+ update is announced, I would link the page to my friends (most don’t even own a PS3) and boast about all the great games that I would be getting. Now… well… now I either compare between the US and EU games, or I just keep quiet until they ask me what games I would be getting.
I understand that EU runs on a different strategy. Their subscription is slightly more expensive. They get 10 rather than 12 games in the IGC. Still, to compare RE5 and Bulletstorm with NFL Blitz is a slap in the face, and to add insult to injury, they throw in a brand spanking newly released game which we only get a 20% discount for. And let us not forget Retro/Grade…
So if the top brass are listening, you know you guys are doing something wrong when someone who so strongly defended the US PS+ went to the other side. So please… please do something about it before it is too late and there’s no hope left (sorry, can’t resist).
Do not want to sound like a hater, I love PS Plus, but disappointed this month.. I hate sports – do not even u do not know how to play most sports… most gamer friends I know do not play sports, although I understand the average gamers love football — I just wish they would give an alternate free game choice if you do not like sports or the game being offered. Alex the Kidd I like, but cmon its a 20 + year old game and should be free, not reduced. I have had that Alex the Kidd port on the Wii, my Sega dreamcast, included free on a mini coleco handheld, on my sons DS.. its a game that has already been around the block on several consoles.
My recommendations:
Be more like the Europe version of plus- Offer at least 2 free major game choices a month, or even better yet for new plus members, allow us one choice or two from previous months free games that we may have missed.
Old console games should be free as well, seriously how much of that one dollar is sega actually getting from alex kidd? Sonic, golden axe, streets of rage, those were all free.
This broke the camels hump for me. My sub is up on the 17th of this month, and i will not be renewing ps plus. I was in game exchange this morning and saw NFL Blitz was a 1.65. So goodbye PS Plus, I will not be wasting money on this again.
I can’t even look forward to Tuesdays like I used to, the beginning of the month is usually my fav but this really bums me out. Guess I’ll go back to Skyrim waiting for a dlc that probably won’t get released.
Hey, when do you think they’ll add another free game with a platinum trophy? I literally had to buy the multiplayer part of Starhawk after completing the single player. Not the best campaign.
I got approved for the Playstation CC last week. It will be here soon and when I get my free year of PS+ it would be worth it for October’s perks alone to use it on my alt Euro account. I should be able to play all the Euro games on my US account anyway, right? Even if I did care about NFL Blitz I would still be just as upset with this service. Now Euro get 2 full games a month!?! WTF?!?

I’m sure that if they could give us RDR, Motorstorm, RE5, etc., they would’ve done it when they gave it to Europe. Of course, it’s not great business to give a certain demographic more full PS3 games than the other. But if everybody would put their pitchforks and torches down for just a second, you would realize that Sony doesn’t always have the power to give away games. Game publishers have a say…game developers have a say. I’m sure that if it were up to Morgan and Co., we’d be waist-deep in full PS3-gaming goodness. But it’s not always their call. And I’d be willing to wager that most of you that are complaining have already played RE5, RDR, Dead Space 2, and/or Darksiders. Probably a lot more than have played the latest version of NFL Blitz. Again…what are you complaining about?!?
I love PS+ and the US IGC and my guess is that all of the PS+ naysayers and cynics will be eating their words or will be strangely silent/absent this time next week.
