  • For those interested, if you go through the Vita’s PSN you can download FFIII. I’m playing through it right now actually.

  • Great update, especially on the new working PSOne classics; Chrono Cross FTW! :) I’m rather surprised there is no mention that Playstation Mobile is up and running on the Vita PSN Store, with games!!!!!

Can’t wait for PS2 Classics on the Vita. ;)

  • Oh, and FFIII now transfers if you download it to you PS3 first. *tears* ^____^

  • My cousin try downloading blitz and it doesn’t even work… Is whack

  • How about getting the hyperballoid dlc in north America. I would pay for that (in addition to plenty i pay for)

    • I believe we’re working on sending out codes via XMB message. Will update you once I get more info.

  • Hey Sony team. Thanks for the info. Quick question…some others have asked this same question…is this all the free games the US+ will be getting? Not trying to complain…just seems like EU+ got a sweet deal the for September and October. Just wondering if anything else will be coming our way this month?

    -Jesty

  • Is it common to be blatantly ignored on this blog?

  • What an awesome update. I have Chrono Cross on my Vita now. All is right in the world.

  • Downloading Sonic Adventure 2 and NFL Blitz!

    PS+ is my bestfriend! :)

I hope next week’s update will be more ‘pleasing’ with Walking Dead ep.4, One Piece DLCs/Avatars/Dynamic theme and a free full ps3 game for PS+

  • Freak’n nice update to the Vita. Hell yeah!
    Still waiting for:
Brave Fencer Musashi (Released on Japanese PSN already. What about US?)
Capcom Puzzle World (Basically give up Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix on Vita)
    Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII
    Metal Gear Solid
    Metal Gear Acid
    Metal Gear Acid II
    Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops
    Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker
    Tekken 3?
    Silent Hill
    Silent Hill: Origins
    Street Fighter EX Plus α
    Street Fighter EX 2

  • Saw there’s a lot of debate about digital vs retail pricing. Saying the cost of manifacturing the physical product is a factor is bunk because these companies probably pay less than 50 cents for the physical plastic product you buy. Retail prices drop to move product quickly. Digital doesn’t have shelf space issues and can maintain higher prices longer until a publisher is ready to reduce the price or put it on sale. If you want a lower price, wait for a drop or sale knowing it will take longer than retail.

  • Absurdly weak Plus update. I’m could hardly be any happier on my decision to jump ship to the EU offerings.

Good PSOne Vita content though. Glad to see things are catching up.
I’m also glad to see Sonic up on the store, will probably end up hitting that at some point in time.

  • Now this is PSone support for the Vita, it’s nice to see such a strong lineup of classic titles being made available straight from the Vita’s store. Good job SCEA, keep up the good work!

  • hello how are you?? I want to know if they do support the PSP game “midway treasure” for ps vita, because I buy it and still does not support … Thanks a loyal buyer store.

  • I’m not being able to install Pocket Fighter when downloaded from Vita and the Vita won’t recognize the download if you try to transfer it from the PS3. Shows me error (C0-11274-5)

  • SONY PLEASE READ & REPLY

where is my Nba 2k13 all star content i pre orded the game off psn and didnt recieve the all star content the only thing i got was the theme i spoked to 2k sports and they told me you guys were suppose to give me a code which i didnt recieve im mad and angry i spent my hard earned money on this game and now i feel like i was robbed please tell me whats going on

  • Seriously why is the EU Plus is getting so much better deals while us in the US get the short end of the stick? I mean they´re going to get Resident Evil 5 and Bulletstorm for Christ sake!

  • Digital versions should NOT be the same price as retail. Like some have said, if NBA 2K13 for digital and retail is $59.99, where is the incentive to get the digital version especially when one could simply just get a retail copy and hold on to it forever.
And I recently purchased a 32GB memory card for my PS Vita and i still don’t feel like downloading any game, especially when retail version for Vita games are much cheaper at Best Buy, Walmart etc.
I really want to love my PS Vita but until digital copies are cheaper and more games are released, my PS Vita will just keep collecting dust. Would be cool if Vita had access to Google Play Store.
One other thing, why isn’t there an official PSN app on Play or the App Store yet for us in the North American market.
Windows 8 Phone has a lovely way to connect its users to their Xbox. What about us Sony gamers?

  • Sony, I’ve been VERY patient and extremely pleased with PS+, and I’ll stay a supported for a long, long time, but I just can’t help but express my frustration at what EU has to offer interms of PS+ free games. My gosh they get two stellar titles this month once again and we get NFL BLitz. SERIOUSLY?! I don’t complain often and I sure ain’t an ‘entitlest’, but really what is going on guys? This isn’t a drop-the-sevice issue for me, but like I said frustrating. Anyway keep up the great work! It’s still miles ahead of the what the ‘other guys’ have to offer.

  • Is AC:Liberation included with the purchase of the limited edition of AC3? Will the purchase of the Limited Edition include the season pass?

    • Nope, doesn’t appear to be. You can check out Ubisoft’s website for more info on what’s included in the Limited Edition version (there’s a pretty sweet flag included).

  • Once again, SCEE does a stupendous job with PS Plus and SCEA falls flat -.-

Now, granted, the Starhawk DLC being free was nice….at least for those who actually bought the game. For the rest of us, it was, once again, a stupid marketing ploy just like Walking Dead.

So there are two games leaving PS Plus next week for NA…..not expecting much, but do try and have something better than a god damn football game perhaps? I mean really, you might as well just have that Siren Blood Curse game for PS Plus that everyone passed over and has long forgotten if you’re going to do things like that.

And as has been echoed constantly, digital games should NOT be retail price!!! It’s completely absurd. I’m not sure if it’s actually Sony dictating these prices, or the publishers, but if it is Sony, that ~seriously~ needs to stop.

  • If I may ask, why the PS Vita not capable of running PSN arcade and exclusive games like Daytona, Jorney, Closure, Limbo, VF5FS, Marvel Vs. Capcom Origins, Sonic, Double Dragon, and many other which would only work just fine on Vita? Isn’t Sony just missing the opportunity of adding to the Vita library with such natural selection of games? The PSN games would fit perfectly on Vita. How come Sony is not seeing the real potential of the Vita as a portable arcade machine? Imagine if all those games simply was made available for Vita, but why is Sony so dumb, so ignorant?

  • $90 ONE game, really!?

  • 999 sequellllll yaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!! :DDD

  • I was so addicted to Sonic Adventure 2’s Chao Garden. Now I can lose myself in it again!

  • @ 13

Instead of complaining about digital games, you could always just go buy the physical copy of the game AND a case for your Vita. Most cases have slots for your games and only cost around $20. Mine can hold up to 16 and was a steal for $20. That plus WipEout is around as much as you would spend on one digital Vita game. Plus you get out into the world and can interact with people, which is also nice.

  • @271 RyuuHou24: Well there’s two business factors that matter. #1 it’s actually retailers who absolutely do not want digital prices to be lower than retail prices, for reasons which should be self evident. (This is why Amazon has a digital code store, they’ve negotiated to get a profit.) Retailers have a huge amount of clout because that is where the sheer quantity of consumers are. #2 Even if it helped sales quantities, why would publishers want to charge less? They don’t want to take a smaller cut from a price consumers willingly pay, it improves their bottom line to lower their supply chain costs. Contrary to popular opinion, digital distro isn’t free, someone always gets a taste.

So exercise self control and wait for a sale. If a majority of volume sold occurs when a price drops temporarily, the price will drop sooner. Asura’s Wrath was *not* $60 worth of game. But they don’t want to tell people that by making it a “bargain” title. It’s counter productive. They know people will just rent it once word gets out, so viola, mandatory story DLC.

  • helpp, i can’t download Last Virtue demo always stuck at 32mb, no matter how much i try.

(NW-3156-5) error, and i’m just too close for trying this game…. noooo

    anyone with the same problem?

  • sorry, just try for the 5th time it passed the 32mb mark, hope it will be able to be downloaded

  • Do our preorders count towards the $100 when we bought them or when they come out? For example if we preordered last week but the games come out next week will that count?

  • CASTLEVANIA – Symphony of the Night is on the PSN store. also.

  • Dear PSN,

May I have Spelunker HD for $5 too?

Looking forward to the (hopefully) soon release of these titles.

    Arkedo 1,2,3 from Arkedo/Sanuk Games.
    Machinarium from Amanita Design.
    Storm.
    Snapshot.

Also looking forward to the “In Motion” DLC for Portal 2.

Do you think SaGa Frontier 2 will ever come out for PSone Classics?

Thanks and have a great week!

  • @edwardcore :

I have the same problem with pocket fighter!

It would be nice if we could have an answer!

  • Thanks for the update!

The price drops for ACR and ACB are great, I was just wondering if the DLC for these titles was going to get a similar haircut? $10 for some maps few people play is a bit much… But I would like to get these to 100% before AC3!

  • what would a season pass for ac3 entail? anyone can answer. Is it all multiplayer stuff of will there be mission extensions as well?

  • How about final fantasy crisis core for a psn release the game would look amazing on the vita screen. I just dont understand why it hasnt been put on the psn store. Any reason why? Also would love to see ehrgeiz the fighting game/dungeon crawler sorry if it is spelled incorrectly.

  • @175. Jet Set Radio is coming to Vita. This bakcs up my argument about people who whine about Vita support. A lot of people don’t know half of what is coming out. Thus whine about it. Not you just in general btw.

  • @ Hado666:

Yeah, that $4.17 per month that you’re spending is really breaking the bank…

Just cancel your subscription and keep all that blah blah blah to yourself. OK? Thanks.

  • @224: Silent Hill Book of Memories demo (i think) had screenshots. hopefully more games follow. PSN in general needs to have screens and videos for every game. It is one thing Microsoft wins at.

  • It’s official. They’ve edged in the means to push the already-pricey $60 cost of games up to $90. Holy crap that’s a punch to the wallet! I assume it will give me free access to ALL post release DLC and the cumulative value of said DLC will exceed the $30 price tag? I’m going to be watching this. If most of it goes to cheap costume and weapons packs I’ll probably never have faith in the “gold edition” system. GOTY edition is my general route.

  • When is 2k13 coming out on he psp on the psp vita market??????????????????

  • hmm isnt there suppose to be 10% off for AC3 for PS Plus members? i didnt see it up there :/

  • What is up with Pocket fighters? It doesn’t install. When is Mototoon going to be available on the Vita?

  • When will we download alone in the dark—the new nightmare on PSN through psvita?

  • I wanna know why legend of heroes 1 thru 3 have not been released for download on the psn yet?

  • Why is Infamous 2 still priced at $39 while the complete saga is the same?

  • Hi. Can you please tell me is Sonic Aventures 2 is going to be avaiable in Portugal???
Im so excited for this game Im a HUGE LOVER OF SONIC!

  • With the announcement of Mass Effect 3 Trilogy being released in november, is there a chance it will have a day 1 digital launch too?

  • Is there any news about a digital release of Crisis core, Birth by Sleep, and Final Fantasy one and two? When I bought a VITA and sold my PSP, it was because I was under the impression I would be able to play my favorite games on it.
