  • What happened to RE5 Gold for PS+ members? I heard we were getting that for free…………

    • That was announced on Europe’s PlayStation channels, but that’s not anything that was announced for North America.

  • @147 Iim having the same damn problem and its making me so mad BUT PSN cards to work it worked for me even though my dam card still doesn’t

  • hello, does anyone know if the tekken tag tournment dlc is coming, and its the one that is free. anyone ?

  • Can we preorder need for speed most wanted even if we don’t have PS+?

  • And if we do preorder Need for speed most wanted, do we get the limited edition bonus as well?

    • No you don’t have to be Plus, and yes it’s the Limited Edition version. The Limited Edition version is only available on PSN through the pre-order function as well. If you wait until release, you won’t be able to get the Limited Edition on PSN.

  • Why is XCOM not being released as part of day one digital?

  • Just a minor typo. It’s “Doom 3 BFG Edition”, not “Doom BFG Edition”

  • @147 You shouldn’t have any problems with PSN cards. Personally, when I use PSN cards it works fine. It’s only when I try to add funds with my debit card that I get this error message. I just want to use my card instead of PSN cards so I can avoid having leftover money in my wallet all the time :/

  • To Morgan every week you keep on saying there’s going to be a really awesome announcement and then the next week comes along and it’s always the same old song and dance my friend when are you and the team going to start listening to the community?

    • but it’s such a good song and dance!

more seriously though, you either like the Plus update, or you don’t. Most do, some don’t, and that’s just how games go I suppose.

  • @140…Demo of games are not up to sony and the PSN team. The developers/publishers decides if to release a demo for their game , before or after it is released. In all my years of gaming, I’ve seen that not all games released gets a demo.

  • And I hope your announcements are beta testing games like dust that it’s a free to play or better said free to pay game as for PlayStation Battle Royale if we ever get to beta-test that game it will probably be gold already and should be considered a demo
As for God of war ascension we are all know where going to beta-test that so it should come as no surprise

  • Will there be a demo for Syphunter on the Vita?

  • Walking dead and Mass Effect dlc.

  • Nice bunch of games, but I find the lack of Plus deals on new games a little disappointing.

I was hoping for a deal on Retro City Rampage, Joe Danger 2, and Warlords, but without a discount, they are a tad pricey.

  • Morgan do you know when we will be seeing some holowheen stuff out ether games or home stuff or both please answer this i am not bashing u or complaing like some people

  • Is the PS store getting the Worms Revolution season pass? (loving the game so far)

  • @159: Sony’s policies don’t really help get demos up on the store.

  • dmc should be broken in 3 parts , i wanted the 1st one just for the music
    kofxiii looks like battle fantasia
can’t wait till next monday to see whats comming to plus

  • To Morgan thanks for being honest.

  • the walking dead episode 4!!
    WOOOOOOOOO :D

  • Maybe the reason so many people liked this week’s plus update is that you ran out all of the people who don’t like fighting games. I hadn’t even heard of king of fighters before and it’s number eight. Seriously, how is this different than street fighter 15 or virtua fighter 23? How about some real titles like God of war or uncharted or resistance. How can you compare a game like that to resident evil 5? Last week should have been Madden or MLB the show. Not NFL Blitz. Look at the list you gave us in June when you started this collection thing and compare it to today. It’s a joke.

  • When is the US Store getting the One Piece: Pirate Warriors DLC? Europe already has 2 weeks of DLC available. Really want that Boa Hancock’s Amazon Lily outfit and Nami’s Strong World outfit, as well as the scenarios.

  • Ugh yet another useless game for Plus oh joy thanks for nothing I already got the disc version of KOF for free why would I need a download. Every time you guys update I regret buying into this trash more and more.

  • Awesome PS Plus addition. I actually haven’t played much in the way of fighting games, so having one for free is pretty neat. Can’t wait to see what’s planned for the coming weeks :)

    Cheers!

  • I absolutely love KOF XIII, as a competitive player these are great news for me, my copy was stolen and getting KOF XIII for free as a PS + subscriber is great!!

    Thanks Atlus and Sony :).

  • Be careful with Worms Revolution people, the game runs pretty bad, and I’m talking Bayonetta bad… It’s as poor as it gets when it comes to frame rate drops. Not sure how Team 17 dropped the bomb on this one.

  • King of Fights XIII = a game that I can’t even pass the f@€k1ng Tutorial on!!!!

    Dear fighting games,
Why do you have to be so convoluted in you control scheme? I like you guys, but you force me to despise you and turn you off after 25 minutes of trying to input a string of 8 joystick commands! Argh, I just won’t play you then, damn!

PS – screw you! Thanks for a game that I can’t even enjoy…

  • Should put PS Mobile Updates here too

  • This is easily the biggest and most awesome update in a while!

I’m a bit disappointed that games like Machinarium and Joe Danger 2 haven’t gotten a discount for PS Plus users, hopefully some time in the near future?

  • Very impressive update, but im saving my $ for MOH Warfighter!

  • KOFXIII should be bought not free :P

    still thinking about Dishonored :)

  • The Cinema Now app for Canada is really difficult to find, it doesn’t appear on New Releases.

  • Great update this week! Just got a couple questions now that I finally put down the controller for the day :)

    1) Also any updates on the PSP compability front for PS Vita?

    2) Would it be possible to have the PS Vita store display bought content while scrolling through it as well? I have to tap on the icon to see if I have bought it or not.

    3) PS Blog.Share hasn’t been updated in a while (new ideas have not been posted). I’ve noticed that it tended to get updated every Tuesday, but it stopped a few weeks ago.

  • @39 and Morgan… Having the same problem. Downloaded retro city demo then unlock key for ps3 and I can’t download the full version on my Vita. Please help!

  • Will there be another game in the instant game collection this month? Because PS+ in Europe got Resident Evil 5, Bulletstorm and the game with this crazy rabbid.

  • Stunning update!! More PS1 & PS2 classics please!!!

  • Morgan,

As I hope you noticed from many posts from other users and myself, we have been none too pleased about the communication for release times of Day 1 games.

The Day 1 announcement thread had many questions about release times, and you yourself said some may be midnight releases or not, and that as we get closer to the release dates of these games we would know.

Resident Evil 6….no info…on the store at 7pm Eastern.

    Dishonoured…no info…on the store at 3pm Eastern.

Just a reply saying no it won’t be a midnight release is all we want. This Day 1 service needs work. Better release info and midnight releases should be the norm, discounts for preordering all games, preloading the content, DLC bonuses and a decent dynamic theme not a lame static one.

Please fix this service, it’s a great idea and am glad Sony is doing this, but it needs to work towards the quality of something like Steam.

    • We’re constantly working to improve, and as stated, we would update if any midnight releases were able to be scheduled. At this time though, to manage expectations, it’s looking unlikely that we can do midnight releases for any of the Day 1 Digital items. This was never promised of course, but we’ll certainly be looking at the feedback from the program to make our digital service better and better. I’m well aware of the improvement opportunities =)

  • Truly amazing update! Keep up the fantastic work! Thank you

  • was hoping for port royale 3 to be on the PSN

  • @159 Trust me I’ve had the PS3 and 360 since their launches and I can tell you that at least 99% of the time there is a demo (or trial is M$ calls it now) for every game that comes to XBL Marketplace.

By your logic, Sony has nothing to do with this and it’s up to the publisher. So in other words I guess 50% of the time the publisher just spits in Sony’s face then right? That’s BS! Micro$haft demands the publishers make a demo available – it’s one of their criteria for putting a game up on XBL. Sony simply needs to enforce this more.

And believe it or not, that’s not my biggest gripe with the PS Store. Like I said in my earlier post, ALL games need screenshots so gamers can see what the game looks like before downloading a demo. Most of the paid content on the store has screenshots, but not all. It’s inconsistent. The store just needs a bit of TLC from the team that handles it at Sony.

  • Lets just put it this way: I shouldn’t have to fire up my 360 to check out screens of a game or demo that I’m thinking of downloading on PSN…

  • I’m not a fan of Devil May Cry, dudes and dudettes, but DMC HD is currently 20 bucks-namely, 18.45- on Amazon. Just a heads up.

  • Top 10 Wish List for PSN on PS4:

(All of which are currently available on Xbox Live)

    (1) Cross-game chat
    (2) Parties (multiple players in a group that can chat while playing the same or different games or they can jump from game to game while remaining in a group)
    (3) Option to APPEAR OFFLINE Already!
    (4) Ability to message friends from PSN website or phone app
    (5) How about starting with an official North American PS phone app first…
    (6) Screenshots of ALL games on PS Store
    (7) See your friends’ friends list
    (8) Ability to add demo downloads to your console’s download queue from the web
    (9) Better organization of content – The game, the demo of that game, all screenshots, avatar items, videos related to that game all in one place.
    (10) Ability to change PSN ID without having to create a new account

  • May I ask why can’t we buy the games from the DMC collection separately? So far, I think every collection gave you the option to buy the games alone with a small price increasement (which generally varies between 2 to 5 more dollars), but in this case you can only get the full bundle. I understand in the end it’s a better deal, but I personally only care to get 1 of the 3 games and I wouldn’t spend 30 on the whole thing just to play said game, is there any chance we’ll get the option to just buy 1 game of the collection later down the road?

  • PSN+ will have one bundle including Joe Danger 1 and Joe Danger 2?
    Eur PSN+ have…

  • Hey guys,

Just thought Id give your US Blog a look like i do every now and then. Basically wanted to remind you PS+ Subscribers that before E3, SCEA was leaps and BOUNDS in front of SCEE where PS+ (and just a general better service) were concerned.

Im not sure exactly why our PS+ is (forgive me for saying this) so much better than yours, but i dont think for one second that it will stay this way forever. Not if past form is anything to go by. Our PS+ has only just started to leave a permenant Game trial catalogue for instance, before a game had a full game trial for a week or 2 and then disappeared. Thats just one example, the list was endless.

Trust me our PS+ compared to yours was B.A.D.

So hang in there guys, Im sure SCEA will see you right soon enough.

  • Dishonored this week. Walking Dead can wait.

There are lots of games that interest me but I dont think the price is fair. Waiting for
    Clash of Heroes
    Anomaly
    Tony Hawk HD,
    Theme Hospital (PS) ,
    Legasista
    Pinball tables
    puzzle quest
to get a discount or became free on PLUS.

  • Do you guys ever get sick of NOT answering the same questions that pop up over and over again like, say, for instance:

When will NBA2K13 be added to the PS Store?

  • NBA2K13 for PSP I meant, of course. D’oh!
