Oh hey, November. Almost didn’t see you there with all of your fall colors, national holidays, and general autumn revelry. Aw, I already own RE5 Gold… Fun game at least and I still got it as a PS+ Discount last year! Well, there’s always next week. That portal 2 discount is intriguing though…
Disappointed to see RE5 Gold given to us. I still think it would be nice to have a poll each month on the game we would like to receive the following month. This way we can get the most requested game by the Plus Community. Hopefully the other games this month are games of interest.
Cool now I have every RE game on ps3!!! And finally those whiny kids can shut up. Hopefully more PS awesomeness awaits as nothing really doing it for me atm. But Portal 2 looks cool especially for that price point!
Morgan, I don’t mean this in a sarcastic way at all, I’m literally just curious. What was the logic behind not releasing any free games the 2 weeks before Halloween, and then releasing a perfect game for Halloween the week after it’s all over? Was there some kind of licensing problem, or what?
FANTASTIC! Will DEFINATELY be snagging RE5:Gold and the Portal 2 DLC, and possibly the full digital copy (even though I own the Blu Ray) for that shockingly low, low Plus price (seriously you guys knocked this one right out the park!!!) just t have it nestled comforatbly on my hard drive. Thanks Sony for all that y’all do!
Very nice! RE5 Gold Ed for free! If you guys can keep a steady stream of free AAA full PS3 games mixed in with PSN titles and discounted games and DLC it makes for a much stronger overall package. I realize there are numerous factors involved with arranging this with 3rd parties (licensing, region restrictions, exclusivity deals with other consoles etc) so at least one per month would be acceptable for me.
Been tempted to pickup Portal 2 at the bargain bin in Walmart for $19.99, but just haven’t. For $13.99 on Plus? Sold.
I’m not at all complaining about this, but it seems like the only games that are ever free anymore are games I already own. Have you guys been going through my stuff when I’m not home? Hahaha ;)
RE5 love the game and i cant believe u people say its racist? i didnt feel like it was only racist people would assume that too bad i already platinumed and own original but the dlcs might be fun for me to play it again the first game i played on my ps3 :) brings back good memories

2. If anyone ISN’T a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you are bad at life.
Most of the retail games that have become freebies on PS+ are games I already owned, but I still love being able to just download them. A lot of times I’ll want to go back to a game like infamous 2, but I’m playing something else at the same time, too. Less disc-swapping means I can stay on my couch or bed and keep playing. Thank you for enabling my laziness, PS+! =)

I’ll continue by saying I hope this is the start of a sequence of good updates.
Also I won’t be voting in this weeks poll because I have NO favorites from last month. October for PS+ actually left a bad taste in my mouth…so to speak.
I am hoping for some new on PS+ for Vita very soon because I would love to use the cloud save for my Vita games. Assassins Creed for Vita is filled with horrible bugs that has caused me to have to restart multiple times from the beginning and I can’t help but think if I had some cloud saves I wouldn’t feel the way I feel about this horrible game at the moment. http://youtu.be/54ZEKT09M9E
Blaxarbrush, the game won’t be free until the psn store updates, so you have to wait until tomorrow. You can download the 1 hour trial and play that, then tomorrow when plus members get it you can just download the unlock part so you already have it predownload.
i didnt vote as those choices did not interest me. but what i liked best about october would be the double dragon neon or the 40% off one piece of even the WWE13 50% fan axxes sale

Even though I have PS+ Europe which will probably not get the news on the blog today, but tomorrow, yet it is exciting what mix of free content Sony is going to put on PS+ for PSVita!

Thank you for finally listening and adding another PS3 retail game to PS Plus. I already have Resident Evil 5 but this just means more people to play with online with so many people now getting the game with their subscription. Still way behind SCEE but this is progress. Also notice that this PS Plus post has over 4.3 out of 5 votes. Clearly, more PS3 retail games are the way to go.

I remember saying the game was coming but everyone kept telling me I was wrong. Of course there are always going to those people who are never satisfied and say that this game sucks and that they already have it. But then if it hadn’t been made available, they would be asking for it. I swear man some gamers just complain about everything instead of just playing for fun like in the old days before blogs and comments.
Please give us a clue or a teaser on what is coming to the Vita. Even if its a hard clue, just give us something to look forward to Morgan!
Morgan, re5 gold edition also supports move controls and is awesome. I sold my copy a long time ago, now I get it back at noextra charge. Plus is awesome, I will have it as long as I own ps platforms

in oct King of Fighters XIII was good game for plus , the only solution is to invest japanese games to PLUS Service , ماعندكم سالفه
My favorite one was the last october update, the discount on One Piece. October was the worst plus month I ever had since I signed up in june 2011. Pretty weak start for november with RE5. But maybe the trolls that keep repeating that EU got it will quiet down now.
Awesome update! I have been missing Resident Evil and have played on various platforms. I’m considering getting a Vita based on the quality of the Plus content for PS3!
I suspect you (and your Social Media colleagues) either don’t have the info, or aren’t at liberty to comment, but the lack of attention Sony is giving the Vita is discouraging.
A little transparency re PS+ (as numerous others have requested) is a perfect example of what people want and aren’t getting. Those of us who continue to blow the trumpet for the Vita and go up against the nay-sayer trolls on these forums can only do so much as individual consumers. There have been other disappointments on the Vita front (botched / postponed releases) which also contribute to the frustrations.
We had a great few weeks of good titles and would be sad to see the momentum slip, especially with two major shopping holidays approaching. As such, it would be really nice for Sony to continue moving forward and empower you and other social media experts who maintain these forums to keep the hype up. Otherwise, I fear for the future of this fantastic platform.
But, but I already have RE5. Wahhh! Thats cool if you do guys but remember, were not you. I didn’t really care for RE5 after the demo and watching videos of it, but I’m not going to complain and ask for a game from my personal games wishlist because I know the world doesn’t revolve around me.
Seriously people, just don’t buy anymore games ever for your PS3. That way there won’t be a chance of a game you already bought appearing on Plus, thus eliminating your frustration. Just depend on Plus for all your gaming needs and miss out on all the other great games out there!
Morgan THANK GOD for this update, i been waiting and waiting and waiting checking 3 to 4 times a day for this. im not use to how plus is yet but i know its once a week on tuesday for store update. RE5 isnt my cup of tea but ill try it out sounds like fun
A lot of the free games I already own or previously owned 85% to be exact. RE% really isn’t doing it for me why not give us Crysis 2 like EU gets. The sales are great but not frequent enough and doen’t cover enough games. If more sales for plus members where out their I’d spend more money.
Oh and for crying out loud fix the store good design but it has major issues.
How about we get some Playstation games! Like Twisted Metal! Motorstorm Apocalypse! PS1 Classics! Like seriously… you keep releasing freebies that I already own on steam. Payday is a computer game! It’s terrible on the console (valve doesn’t give two craps about consoles). Resident Evil 5? Best of the series?!?! It’s only better than 6 because 6 recently took the award for worst game in history!
Fantastic update. Is there any word on what games will be Day One Downloads this month? I have two that I’m really wanting to get but if I can get them digitally then I won’t bother reserving a disc copy.

Even if I have the game already, I’m happy! Now I can pay this with friends I’ve convinced to get plus but didn’t get these games in the past.
I had RE5, but didn’t have Gold edition and didn’t feel like buying the update. So now at least I get it free. Hope I don’t have to download every single thing tho and just need to get the addons.
