I’m still happy with the last update, plus we know the month update is close to come, so I get why there are no big PS+ releases this week.

  • Glad to see the Vita Plus content number 1 since that was pretty much the only good thing. The only game interesting in that sale group listed above is Bejeweled 2. But i already have that.

Was hoping for some discounted Vita games but no luck other than the lame first party games detailed in the last blogcast, like Hotshot golf. :(

  • I bought Alice madness returns I don’t see the dlc or American mcgee’s Alice anywhere in the game.

    • Morgan Haro

This should have been addressed and you’ll need to download it as a separate download. Head into the PS Store and search for American McGee’s Alice and you should be entitled to download it if you purchased the Ultimate Edition.

  • @96

Well said. I dont understand why someone who doesnt even have the service is bashing PS+ members for not being happy with the update. We pay for the service, He does not.

  • DonkeyKongKilla

ok 95 – that discount on Music is great in all, but um let’s check the facts, The main purpose for this system is that it is an gaming system, correct? It’s too easy these days to get free music anyway meanwhile I don’t even care for music, ESPECIALLY when they could’ve put that discount to gaming where it matters, like how about 70% off Black Ops 2 Premium????? that would of made WAY MORE GAMERS SATISFIED.

Nothing for me because the only title really interesting is Resident Evil 5: GOLD EDITION which I already own, if not that would of been an EPIC add. I’d like to see one of these games for free in December: Dead Space, Dead Space 2, Need for Speed game, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, any Assassin’s Creed game, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Resident Evil: Operation Racoon City and why not add to the free game of the month a PS2 Classic? That hasn’t been done yet :)

  • @93 i buy the games i like instead of waiting for hand outs from sony….. the entire ps3 instant games collection and vita collection i already own…. paid for…. full price…. on my own….. when i wanted them…. but hey if you wanna keep hanging on hope for dues ex i’m sure it’ll come right before the sequel

@96 i wasn’t trying to be a jerk about it but clearly 3 months of clamoring for certain games has fallen on deaf ears so why continue with a service if you’re not getting what you want out of it

  • CruzadorFantasma

Só pode ser brincadeira! Um monte de tranqueira, nem se fosse free eu pegaria esses lixos.

  • 104 actually i did pay for the service and let it expire like so many of you threaten to do….

didn’t seem worth it then….. more impressed with it now but still taking a wait and see approach about it considering most of the games can be found used at retail under 15 dollars

  • PainOfSarrow

why the low rated post ? looks like il finnaly be getting side ways new york, swords and soldiers, bolt scrappers, and peggle, even though peggle looks like a corny ass girls kid game. after playing it on pc i realized it was to addicting. for the price of 2.50 a pop why not ?

  • DonkeyKongKilla

#107 I bought it for the whole year, but the fact is still, there are some people that can’t afford all the new games and stuff, so that’s why I decided to go with plus, I haven’t liked ALL of they’re content, but Some have been pleasant to play, I really enjoyed infamous to, but I’m just giving you another perspective to think about, I have no shame into saying I don’t have the money for all the new games, If I did you’re right, I WOULD BUY ANY GAME MY HEART DESIRED ON PRE ORDER AND I WOULD NEVER HAVE TO USE PSN PLUS. Unfortunately, That’s not the case so I have to rely on this to give me something good to play.

  • 111 i understand that i really do….. and for people in those situations i feel, for them cause i’ve been there myself…

  • playstation plus rocks, been a member since june, maybe july.. im liking all the discounts i got so far, its so worth my money, plus i ordered a vita so i have plus for that now as well :).

@97 i pay for the service,
@100 yup i love the service

service aside, i just wanted some announcements on upcoming games, i know of last of us and soul sacrifice

  • All the people complaining about this week absolutely blow my mind. Seriously? After getting RE5Gold , Dungeon Defenders, and Quantum Conundrum, as well as a ton of Vita games for free, people are this pissed off about one slow week after the holidays? Sheesh, get over it. It may not be a great week – it isn’t – but not every week can be BLOW YOUR MIND AWESOME. That’s just unrealistic.

  • Hello, I know it has nothing to do with the news but … I wonder if you have any prediction for PlayStation Plus in Brazil?

    thanks :)

  • DonkeyKongKilla

    #113 – thanks for understanding.

  • snakeeyes211

Morgan thank you for the quick reply and yes I just renewed my PlayStation plus membership it’s the best service out there and you people do a great job ;-)

  • @117

What do you mean ” You people”?

  • Will those prices for Untold Legends be the same if purchased on the Vita? They are both priced at $14.99 currently, not $7.49.

  • 118 i apologize to you aswell and every other ps plus member here i didnt mean to come off as a jerk…. far be it from me to force my beliefs on all of you

  • @119 the prices don’t go into affect till tomorrow’s store update…

  • @120

Its cool. For the record I spend way to much on games every week, so I do get upset when the only discounts on the store are for games I consider to be well below the bar. I am pretty happy with the service for the most part but being told ” Next week is going to be really exciting” or ” Great games coming this month” is kind of annoying when then your given crap. But everyone opinion is different.

  • Another terrible week. its clear the ps3 people are no longer cared about and its all about the vita and Europe customers. Ok, thats fine, i just wish haro here didnt lie al the time. But it seems we have all caught on to mr. haro’s pattern. I have no choice but to see if his lies become truths December. its my last month of my year subscription. so what’s it going to be SCEA? You want me to stay or not? Start giving me reasons.

  • @121 I meant that the blog posts says they are *currently* $7.49, but when viewing them in the store on the Vita, the current price is $14.99. I’m just curious if the discount going into effect tomorrow will be the same if purchased on the Vita.

  • Morgan. About the Alice bundle. I checked the store and American McGee Alice isn’t showing up as free and yes I purchased the ultimate edition.

  • I must share my feedback:
The Vita instant game collection was, by far the best thing from plus this month. This because both the great line-up and the lack of awesome content fom everything else.

I got some complainments to do.
1 – See, RE5 was a good freebie but I got that feeling that its only free as an advertisment to the new one, RE6. Same thing with Borderlands. I ask you, would those be free if there were no sequel in stores? In comparinson, our europeans plus fellows got games like Red Dead Redemption, Deus Ex: HR, Dead Space 2… no sequels in stores and yet, they’re free – only for europeans =(

2 – about discounts. Its very common to see a disconted game that were previously free (‘Swords and Soldies’ and ‘Sideways NY’ this time). Okay, new Plus subscribers get something which its always nice, but what about long-time subscribers? We SHOULD get something as a token of gratitude for supporting you long before newcomers. Like, “you’re a subscriber for more than a year? Extra % on this week discounts”. This will motivate us to KEEP subscribing plus.

  • my attitude toward the instant game collection is that these games are so cheap it’s insane not to offer them on ps plus take dead space for instance

if sony and ea agree to add dead space, dead space 2, and dead space extraction to instant game collection with dead space 3 less than 2 months away we could see increased sales in 3

my ideas for plus vs whats offered

  • (continuing)

3 – I remember couple of months ago someone ranting about Vita Plus. That he didn’t want “Vita crap” (he called that way. don’t agree but thats okay) because it would half your efforts from PS3. At the time you didn’t know if it was going to be ps plus for both ps3 and vita or separate plus but you guys assured one thing: It will not affect PS3 free games. And Morgan, you replied to someone at the fist page that this was a pretty strong month for plus because of Vitas line up (and indeed, it was a FANTASTIC line-up. Makes me want to buy a Vita. Good work!). But apart from it? there wasn’t a lot to brag about. It was just an ‘okay’ month for those who only got PS3

Hope you guys read my feedback

Oh, just another thing, continuing my 1st topic: Hope you guys arent’ planning on giving us the first Bioshock for free. It was already announced that, if you buy Bioshock: Infinite for PS3 you’ll got the 1st game for free. Giving us as part of Plus progam wouldn’t be a smart move (and it will take me one step closer to change to european plus)

  • Music Unlimited was a great surprise this month. Never knew I needed a music service like this until now.

It’s also great to see that the game discounts keep coming for Plus members. Just please don’t forget about DLC, especially for older games where the price of the DLC is more than buying a new copy of the actual game! Ultimate Bundles are nice, but if I already have the game …

Thanks, as always, for listening to your customers.

  • ThreeLeggedFreak

When is MU offer leaving PS+? I have a one month code, but want to wait till mid december to sign up and get all the freebies along with MU. Are you guys gonna give us a heads up for when it’s leaving like you do when games are leaving? I wanna make sure I get all the good stuff that I missed (LBP2, infamous2, Ratchet A4O, all the psv games, etc)

  • mogan can you help me my waking dead seasion pass dont show up like a buy the pass and i can play the because it say i need buy to ep 1 but i have the seasion pass and i dont want to pay again thank you 4 your time plz help me fast

  • Well…I’ve been ignored over and over
and over again so I don’t expect an answer really

I don’t really care about discounts on games that I don’t absolutely want very badly…I can’t afford to clutter my already ridiculously cluttered download list, so I only buy the bare minimum.

It’s a shame you guys won’t give us a sortable download list…personally I would be more inclined to buy games I just kinda want if you would.

Oh well…doesn’t matter…keep ignoring…I’m sure you don’t have an answer anyway.

  • Are those complaining somehow paying for their Plus subscription week to week? This month has been excellent, and this portion of it gives discounts. It baffles me how people question no new Vita games, after the enormous amount of content last week. There’s even been great free PS3 titles. If you don’t like what’s been released, it doesn’t mean the service is lacking.
Anyway, this stuff happens on the regular, so enough of my rant against the complainers that feel they need to speak up about something, like it’s an injustice.

    (if this was November 2007)

  • I’m angry and upset that every game on Earth isn’t free and that psn+ isn’t tailored to meet my exact specifications. Keep up this shoddy work and I will take my princely sum of $5 per month and go join the Sega Channel!!!

PS- Please PM to me Grace’s contact info

  • TerRover was great! A steal at that price. I want a sequel!

  • This is totally beast mode Ps Plus we da best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hear a lot of people complaining over nothing. I am personally very thankful for every update. I can’t imagine what it takes for you guys to complete a job like this every week. I wish there was something to make these people happy… but then again do we really need them. I am and always will be A very loyal fan. If you can please let your people know there are lots of thankful and happy people out here. THANKS AGAIN!

  • I wasn’t aware Bejeweled 2 had dropped to $4.99…

Looks like tommorow I’ll finally be able to remove it from my “potential buys” list to my “bought” one :)

  • SamuelLeonidas

PS Vita Instant Game Collection will continue in November with the same games?
    I appreciate the answer!

  • wakingthedead17

Morgan, I bought the Ultimate Bundle for Alice as well, but when I do a search like you said it is still wanting to charge me $9.99 for American McGee’s Alice. Customer Support has not been helpful, been trying to get this fixed since last week.

  • that-acmilan-guy

I don’t wanna complain much, I am very thankful of what I got from Plus. I just wish we got some of the cooler PS3 retail games Europeans got, like Dead Space 2, Deus Ex (despite having it) Crysis 2 to name a few, they really got a better deal no doubt. I really hope we start getting more retail games. How about Dead Space 1,2 and Crysis 2 in the coming months? As Dead Space 3 and Crysis 3 right around the corner?

  • DonkeyKongKilla

128 – do you see the pattern though, its like movies, Once its done making money in theaters it goes to dvd, once its done making money on dvd it goes to ppv, once its done making enough from that, then it goes to on demand and movie channels also netflix.

But here’s my deal, They put up the games most of us don’t want or interested in, I seen the game collection from the summer and some of them I would of loved to play, but I couldn’t get them, so I rely on the future of plus, last few months makes me horrified of it. I mean I thought i’d pay $50 for an year of free good/decent quality games and get more bang for my buck instead of one game with that money bleh

  • I voted for Vita + launch, even though I owned all but Jet Set & FFT … bought my original Vita launch week, but it was still an amazing offering to new owners …. & wanted to say thank you for sponsoring that AMAZING gold box Amazon BF bundle … which I did purchase – my son will be a happy camper having his own Vita ! when you deduct the $130 of goodies provided with that deal, the Vita itself became $50 ! goodness, what a fantastic deal! can hardly wait to take delivery of my shiny new white unit ….

I have a question in relation to PS All Stars – I preordered the PS3 version & had no difficulties getting my bonus costumes … but for some reason, I cannot seem to get them onto my Vita … if anyone here has figured this out, any advice would be welcome …. I tried my code on the Vita & it says they can’t be DLd to the Vita … I DLd the full game from the Vita store after it appeared in my DL list … do I have to physically hook the Vita up to the PS3 to get the costumes ? Thanks !

  • Might as well throw my 2 cents in here since you actually read the comments, kudos for that. The Vita instant collection was probably the best thing recently, but the one that caught me off guard was the Music Unlimited offer. I said to myself, “$12 for a year? Why not, let’s try this thing.” It ended up exceeding my expectations and is something I never expected PSN+ to offer a discount for. A more adventurous discount like this was a very welcome turn of events, so it gets my vote based on that. As long as the focus stays on games, I would love to see more things like this.

  • Had some pretty good plus updates but one meh update and people are back to hate mode. Don’t take much for this crowd.

  • also, am hoping to get the Alice Madness bundle … w/the + discount …. I’ll check the store later & see if the issue has been resolved … otherwise, hope the bundle receives a time extension for purchase.

Pinball Arcade PS3 version is sooooo dark on the screen as to be almost unplayable …. I have Black Knight & basically can’t see the table … my HD TV is only a few months old, I see all other games perfectly – no darkness issues, but the Arcade Pinball needs something to brighten the screen … just thought I’d mention the difficulty …. Zen Pinball displays beautifully – so it can’t be a problem w/my tv or PS3 ….

  • >load up ps store
    >5 minutes later…
    >see Bejeweled 2 is $9.99

Then I checked the current prices of all the other games listed in this blog post. Hmm…

Blog post is a little misleading. Non-PS+ people will be getting these games for 50% off while PS+ people are getting them for 75% off. Assuming each of these games are only going on sale tomorrow as opposed to all having a 50% permenant price drop.

  • Hi Morgan,

I was reading about Alice McGee DLC, and i did what you said and is charging me 9.99$. Please i paid for the ultimated edition.

    Help us!
