  • Oh my goodness, this would be such a day 1 buy for me on Vita. Looks AMAZING.

  • Is this a PSN Exclusive?

    • Not sure about that, ModernNomNom. But we’ll definitely be showing a lot of long-term love to the good folks in the PlayStation family.

  • Is this a Rouge-like? Are the dungeons randomly generated? Is it really hard with perma-death?

    • The dungeons aren’t randomly or procedurally generated, FriedConsole. There’s a lot of puzzles and traps that are specifically designed to the maps.

There are difficulty settings, so it’s playable for experts and noobs.

  • Add my vote to the request for making this a Vita title. I LOVE dungeon crawlers and all forms of RPGs. I’m one of the minority who has a PS Vita, but does NOT have a Playstation 3. For me, it needs to be on the Vita, or it’s simply not an option for me to buy. I hope you get enough feedback to launch it for both. :)

    • Well, then, this request might have to be the one to push it over the top. :-)

I wish I could make a decision and announcement right here and now, but it’s a wee bit more complicated than that!

      Thanks for the comment, JadeZodiac!

  • I’m sure as a parent you can appreciate this, but is there an option to turn off the gore?

It’s difficult to find games lately that I can play while the kids are awake. I would like to game earlier than 9pm, it gets tough when I have to get up at 5 am to get to work.

Count me as a Vita vote. Need more PSN type games on that platform.

    • I do appreciate it, TwinDad. I have the same issue. Unfortunately, there isn’t.

But I really like the idea, and will be sure to suggest it to the team for future projects.

  • “Oh boy… now it’s a vote for Vita for our catalog!?!?!? Our team does need to sleep at some point. They work really hard around here.”

:D I believe it was on the post for Germinator, where I mentioned that I’d love to play Magic Orbz and Mahjong Tales: Ancient Wisdom on Vita. I’d happily purchase them again, because I heart Creat games!

  • Twindad, if we can get it on Vita, the gore probably wouldn’t be as much of an issue, since you could play it on Vita during the day and then on your PS3 at night when the kids are asleep.

    Golly that sounds nice.

  • This looks like one of your best games so far. Definitely buying it when it comes out. :D

I’d also love it on Vita. :3

  • Oh, by the way. Logo design is just awesome. So high five whoever was involved with that wonderful logo for me. Thanks~

  • @vanwinkle. Good idea. Also lucky I picked up a Vita for Black Friday. I was gaming on my PSP and DS for last few years during the day as it’s easy to just pause it if I need to tend to the kids.

As Scott had given my inspiration, the option to turn off the gore or at least the blood would be good for letting my kids play. While I only have two 7 year old girls, they like to play games too. And they mostly want to play what dad is playing and it makes it hard when the range of PG games is very low.

And before the Parent Police come to chime in. I’m very selective on what they watch and makes sure they understand what they watch. I try to limit what they get exposed to, but I also realize that the world isn’t PG either.

  • welcome back. mr hyman. I think your facebook page is going to shut down if have ps vita votes lol.. But im sure its will convince you to make a vita game :)

    • Good to be back, mcbuttz78. Thank you!

Unfortunately, we can’t take game ideas. There’s a long-winded legal explanation as to why, but it’s something that we, and most developers, just can’t do. But thank you for asking.

  • Thank you for explainng that. mr hyman..;) i didnt know the movie legal rule is for gaming as well… Im going to vote on your fbpage today. thanks agn and come around more often :)

    • Thank you for checking in. We love to chat directly with our customers… it makes what we do so much more rewarding.

  • Like someone else said, the word Labyrinth is usually a warning for me, as I associate it with old-school RPGs like Wizardry or Elminage Original. But I checked out the trailer for this, and just had to hop in here to say that this looks awesome! Will definitely be buying this for PS3. And add another vote for a Vita version as well. Cross-buy would be awesome, but I’d even accept a 50% discount for PS3 purchasers, cause this looks like it’ll be really fun and worth it.
Haven’t been excited about a PSN release since One Piece back in September. Can’t wait to get this next month!

    • We’re thrilled that the looks of Labyrinth Legends excites you as much as we enjoyed making it, AizawaYuuichi.

As soon as there’s news about Vita, we’ll let you all know right away.

  • Looks a bit like 3D-Dot-Game-Heros (underrated game).

    Hey – Can somebody advise:
The Spend $100 in October, get $20 in November promotion –
The email said that the CODE must be redeemed by December 9th (or whatever date it was). I have done so, and the $20 funds are in my wallet… The funds won’t disappear, right?
In other words – Do I need to actually SPEND the $20 funds prior to that date, or did I only need to redeem the code?

  • @ ebineesey: You only had to redeem the code. The random number sequence itself would have expired. Funds in your wallet don’t expire. You’re safe. :)

  • Thanks – that’s what I thought, just wanted to double check.

  • I agree, it looks like a fun game and I’d like a Vita version too! (is there an echo in here)
    :)

    • …there an echo in here, an echo in here, echo in here…

Thanks for the compliment and adding your voice to the Vita push, W1ngf00t!

  • Add another vote for a Vita version please (Also posted on your facebook) :)

  • This kind of “old school” games are more suited for the Vita I think.

But still, I think if the developer wants a more established userbase (obviously) this game should be developed for both consoles, and considering that porting PS3 stuff to Vita is not so difficult, why not do it??

If you are not into cross buy, I think that it would be nice to see a bundle that offers both versions for a special price XD

  • Thanks, I’ve enjoyed your mecho wars and freekscape as minis on my PSP Go.

Would love to see your games on the Vita as well. Labyrinth legends looks epic and a real step-up in terms of complexity.

  • A very interesting game indeed cross buy would be excellent her.

  • Oops spelling error, a very interesting game indeed cross buy would be excellent here.

  • Me and my firend played loads of 2player versus in Mushroom Wars (I only need 10 more wins for that play 100 trophy) and I would would love it if Mushroom Wars and this worked thier way onto the Vita. I’ll be picking up TerRover this week too. At $2.50 how can a guy say no?

  • Looks amazing, day one buy for me. I love games with this type of graphics, like a polished cartoon. Can I hear any about the storyline? Don’t have one yet, but put me down for the vita movement, maybe cross-buy so when I get one I’ll allready have something great to play.

  • This is looking really fun! I know it’s a bit early to ask about the nitty gritty, but just in case, any word on pricing or length of the game? Can’t wait to play it :)

  • I know you heard it before, but yes, I would like a Vita version aswell :), and you should consider to port some of you’re other great games to vita aswell thought :)

  • I am just throwing in my request for a Vita version. FINALLY we are getting new, good games on Vita and it is not collecting dust anymore!

  • I decided to leave a comment because I noticed no one else was supporting PS Vita. Do you think people want this game to be on PS Vita? I don’t know, just haven’t seen the support.

  • Will buy day one for a vita version! Cross buy would be great as well! Keep up the awesome work and thanks for responding to people on this thread.

  • Simply…WOW! Exactly what I’ve been waiting for on my PS3.

I’ll echo the above sentiment in tedium…a Vita version would be fantastic as well. I can see myself playing this at home, and on the go. Not to sound picky, but, if you do a Vita version it really should support Cross-Play, and Cross-Saves. Cross-Buy would be icing on the cake!

  • Okay I have to say this game looks awesome. Count me as a purchaser for both PS3 and Vita (when available)! I think it will go over very well with several of my friends too.

  • +1000 for the Vita port… for this incredible looking Labyrith legend, and for mushroom wars 2…. and the first one, why not … Playing it on vita would be a balst…

The VITA is the perfect fit for those PSN games. And Dev should jump on it, while there is absolutely no real concurence from AAA games like on PS3

  • Wow this game looks awesome!

  • Adding my vote here….please, please, please make a Vita version!

The game looks quite fun, but I only own a Vita, not a PS3.

Of course, if you’d like to instead release a PC version on Steam, well I’d be all for that too!

  • Has a strong Legend of Zelda feel, I think I will have to give it a go. Assuming there are no multiplayer or online only style trophies =)

  • Looks fantastic!

Would love to see it land on Vita……. :)

  • Call it a hunch but games of this style, price range and quality are desperately wanted by people with vitas.

  • +1 for vita version. Loving this thing

  • Every game needs to be on vita! This does look pretty damn fun, i look forward to it :)

  • How is this different than Dungeon Hunter Alliance? I also have Realms of Ancient War. What’s Labyrinth’s selling point?
