Playstation Plus USA is improving every week. I can’t believe that we’re getting Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition for free on plus. This is so unexpected. PS + USA makes me happy that I subscribed every single week. My subscription ends in October 2013 so there’s so much more to come. It’s as if SONY is saying “we’re just getting started.”
Up to now, people have benefited from three of the best fighting games that exist on modern platforms. Earlier PS+ subscribers got to download Virtua Fighter 5 for free. Then we got King Of Fighter XIII. Now we have Super Street Fighter IV Arcade.

@701, You have to create a new account on your PS3 for Europe. Unfortunately you cannot have both on the same account. €39.99 for a year, or €11.99 for 3 months. Converts roughly to $52 for a year and $15.00 for 3months. That’s about as much as I know. My buddy has been trying to get PS+, but has been running into tons of problems trying to get it because his cc is locked to US, so his cc is invalid on the EU store, and he’s heard the US PSN cards only work on US accounts.

I noticed on the PS Store this afternoon that, “Rochard” is available for free to all PS Plus Members. However, I also noticed that under expiring soon it mentions that the game will be expiring next week as a free download to ps plus subscribers.
Therefore, can it be assumed that a different game will be replacing Rochard next week? Or is this just an error.
I’m viewing the content from Canada if that makes a difference.

to add on to what @704 said. you can ask your bank to honor the purchase in Europe, the card only locks if they’re detecting fraud activity, but if you tell your bank you need it to go through…it will go through.
i worked at a bank, customers do that all the time when they travel overseas, so its not uncommon to do this.

I’m just wondering why I spent all those hours downloading SFIVAE, 18 GBs, just to have it be a 60 minute trial? I thought it was a free FULL game? What’s going on here? Is this a glitch or did we get shafted on this one?

I mean seriously- I don’t know if it’s because the guy in charge love these kind of game and think everyone love em, but we had our share.
Most of the time, you either give us games that we could pick up for 2 bucks at gamestop for free or discount “new” games that we could pick up on amazon for that same reduced price.
Go back to your roots, when you gave us good psn/ps1 classics that had only been out for a couple of months and not “free” PS3 games we can find sitting on a brick and mortar shelf with 2~3 years of dust covering it.
There’s tons of PS1 rpg/platformer/action classics you could give us- Take that phone or e-mail these guys and work something out- please.

Hey Morgan, loving plus so far. The update this week did not appeal to me, but I still love PS+. I was wondering have you guys ever considered adding JRPG’s or any RPG to the game collection from the PS2 era.There are many available, and I would like to see Suikoden III or Rogue Galaxy. There are also many PS3 RPG’s that would fit perfectly with the game collection like Valkyria Chronicles, Hyperdimension Neptunia, 3D Dot Game Heroes, and the Atelier series, there is like 3 of those already out. Just thought I would add my 2 cents, since you look at all comments as feedback.
the one thing they failed to tell us was that street fighter takes up 18 GB. thats a lot of space for one game. 18 GB is enuff room for 50 games.

If my PSPLUS expires, I’ll still have my instant game collection when I subscribe again or in order for the games to NOT game blocked forever I’ll have to renew my subscription before it expires?
@alx_yamaguchi Your games will still be there as long as you added them to your Download List even if there’s a lapse between subscriptions.
PLEASE bring back PSOne Classics, themes, minis and avatars to PS+! I miss getting those since the IGC started.

BUT… I do wonder… Will we ever get a Beat’em up game? You know, Dynasty Warriors series, or even the mighty and (unfortunately) physically un-released Warriors Orochi 3 game?
Oh well, I would simply love something like that. Hell, even DW 6, true fans says its a bad game with its stupid henbu system, but I still enjoyed its bad PS2 port.

Hey, any chance you guys will make the update kit (upgrade to Arcade Edition for Super Street Fighter IV) free as well. I’d much rather prefer that than this. 18GB is a big download especially when the ISP puts a stupid bandwidth limit on. I don’t care about the space it takes up on the harddrive, just the actual download.

Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition would be an awesome addition to my collection if it wasn’t 17.9GB. I only have a 120GB PS3 Slim and only 11GB free because of all the stuff on it (which to this day I still don’t know how what I have on there takes up 100GB of space). So I’ll download it to my list but I won’t be installing or playing it any time soon. Thanks though.

Disappointing. Glad i’m subscribed to EU too, or else i’ll be damn and stucked with the ‘great’ games NA gets every month. Reconsidering my renewal of my subcription, since i live i asia and asia sucks for its PS+ too.
Morgan, I’m more interested in seeing substantial PS+ discounts (50% or greater) on games than older free games in the future–is there anyway to put in that suggestion? Also, as others have asked before, is there anyway to focus more discounts in the dlc aspect? I was looking at a post for Xbox360’s Christmas deals this year, and there’s quite a bit of DLC to be had. How great would it be if you could somehow pull off a 50% off of ALL DLC for PS+ members for a week or so? Think about how much DLC could/would be sold!

Yes I still play the best game out for the ps3 Socom Confrontation , lol not my fault all shooters don’t compare . Ok so I should delete all the games I got for (free ps+) , so I can play one game ssf4 , (Virtue Fighter) they basically gave out a couple of months ago and that was trash . Ive have a suggestion, SSF4 arcade is great game, but many of us already have the previous version of SSF4.
downloading 18 GB only for 4 new characters kinda sucks…. It would be nice to have an optional dowload (which woundnt be such a hugh file), and alowed us the enjoy this ultimated version of the game.
And this suggestion aplys also for future games… For example, if you release sonething like RDR or GTA for those usersvthat alrwady have this game on disc it would be nice the have the dlc’s for that especific game as optional download
