Hi Morgan. I’ll be away from my PS3 for the next month. Any chance that that EU online store will make it to USA before the discounts end? I’d love to be able to pick up some of these discounts over the web.
I Love PS PLUS. Amount of Content that it offers over just being a member is well worth the price. That being said, an issue I would like to see taken care of, is a lot more emphasis on classic games. I know it probably takes a while to get that content over but there are just not enough true classics on the network. Some of these games for the holiday sale are great and I applaud the decisions, I just happen to be a fan that has been around since the early days of gaming and realized that the ps1 revolutionized the gaming scene. Hopefully we will get some more classics somewhere along the road.

If i purchase tomorrow Rayman Origins PS Vita and the next week you put in the Vita Collection, i will be VERY dissapointed and never purchase an offer again…
As a Plus member I would also like more RPGs available on plus. While I love the value of the service, I am disappointed that the games added seem to be of a very narrow range of genres.
Plus overall seems to cater to many genres, except 1 very important one. RPG. There are so many great RPGs on PS3/PSP, and so many RPG fans, yet the genre gets very little love. I mean with the Vita PS Plus you guys included FF Tactics. That’s a good game, don’t get me wrong, but it’s a strategy game and FF is mainly an RPG franchise, and you guys had a great opportunity to show some love to the genre.
I get that the Vita PS Plus is new and all, and it takes time to plan these updates, but leaving the Vita updates until the end of the month isn’t such a great way to build confidence in the service. I think for both the PS3 and the Vita PS Plus it would be better to do 1 game each, per week, rather than stack them at the beginning or the ending of the month.
I mean, what could it possibly take to give us US subscribers some good games like you gave eu subbers? What did we ever do to deserve this kind of treatment?
Why US Plus+ suscribers don’t get such good games as the EU suscribers?
Ill get I Am Alive, CS GO and After Burner Climax.
Thats why i LOVE PS Plus: Its always good to wait for a good discount.
Though i would spend even more if Okami HD, Sound Shapes PS3 and Killzone HD appears with discounted prices on the next two weeks of the hollidays sales.
OK let me ask is there a chance for a little discount or bonus added if you purchase a year of PSN Plus. I will say I like what you are doing but I missed the 15 month deal for price of 12 months. I did like the discounts you gave on digital pre-ordering also. keep up the great job.
I won’t say that I’m disappointed in the NA version of Plus. I’ve gotten some good games from it and I’m overall satisfied with it. Satisfied, not happy. But 1 thing has become very clear. Each and every month since the introduction of the IGC back in June the EU version of Plus has consistently gotten more value. I’m not talking about the quality of the games because that is entirely subjective. I’m just talking about the actual cost/value of them, which is fact. There have been times that we get 3 PSN games totaling up to $30, then EU gets 3 big games worth $20 to $30 EACH, giving them 2 to 3 times more value than the NA Plus. Every month EU gets more value, yet we all pay the same price for Plus. The current way the IGC is handled is very disrespectful to NA subscribers because we are treated as if we are somehow lesser than EU subscribers. It isn’t right. The IGC should be handled globally, not regionally. Every PS Plus subscriber should get the same content regardless of where they live, they should all be treated equally. If this doesn’t change by the time my subscription runs out then I unfortunately will not be re-subscribing because I cannot support a service that discriminates against or treats me differently.
Morgan I just thought about something… there is so many people that goes on vacations/holidays or whatever, and they cant download the plus games of the month.
Thankfully I have my VITA to keep me updated but… i thought, Hey, if I l leave home with my VITA it would be nice to be able to use PS3’s PlayStation Store through Remote Play.

I’ve never left a comment but I just had to comment on a couple things.
1. @ 38, that was hilarious. It’s funny cus if you read the complainers comments they nearly all fall into what you typed lol.
2. @89, you straight up lyin and full of @#$! Anomaly Warzone Earth got an 8.2 GREAT score from IGN and on METACRITIC RIGHT NOW it has a 78 out of 100, which is a damn good score. So for you to say “reviews everywhere say it’s garbage” is straight up BS and a lie. For all of you whining 15 year olds STFU and just get a 360 already and sell your PS3.
PSPlus! Making Xbox look like a bunch of jerks! This program is an absolute amazing value. Only thing it’s missing is some RPGs.

This is really sad Morgan.
You always say wait one more week till it gets better. But it never gets better, it actually has gotten worse. You can’t just say that people will never like said games when the games are even in the same ballpark. You cannot compare the batman game to whatever nameless game we get this week. Its like comparing a Lamborghini to a clown car.
Plus has gotten worse. There aren’t any more PS One games, Minis, avatars or themes given out anymore. Not even some cheery holiday ones. Even XBOX gives out free themes once in a while.
You want to know why the PS3 isn’t doing good in sales? First you don’t even package PS3 with a headset for multiplayer. The multiplayer ability to have group discussions such as “parties” is lacking. Also why spend $50 on Plus when it doesn’t even come out with similarly good games as other regions? Oh and the Price of the PS3, you know might want to compete with xbox. I sell at least 10 to every 2 PS3s at work.
My suggestion, offer better games, themes, avatars, minis, and PS One games with plus. Heck PS2 games would be nice freebies as well. You know instead of those “HD” ones.
Sad to see all the complaining week after week (with some exceptions such as the week of announced Vita freebies or back in June with the huge freebies; LBP2, inFAMOUS 2, etc..).
I think in order to appease everyone Sony will need to offer a “Plan B”.
Perhaps instead of accepting a free game that we may have already purchased we can have the option
of getting 50% off another game on PSN. It would probably be complicated for Sony to work this out, but I think
it would make a lot of people happier. (who knows..)

Yey another great PS+ “freebie” this week with Anomaly Warzone Earth! A game that was part of a “freebie” collection along with several other games for Android & PC in a humble bundle almost a year ago.
It just so happens that 2 out of 4 “freebie” games for PS+ in december were both part of humble bundle “freebie” collections as Rochard was also part of Humble bundle #6 a few months ago, so we’re certainly getting cream of the crop quality stuff recently with our paid PS Plus subscription!!

Are you seriously saying that game preferences are subjective to the point where you put an equal value on EU Plus freebies like Batman Arkham city & Vanquish to Rochard & Anomaly Warzone earth, or even StreetFighter IV? Or how about Red Dead Redemption, Dead space 2, Crysis 2 etc to NFL Blitz, PAYDAY: The Heist or King of Fighters XIII??
I think very few (if any) would complain if PS Plus subscribers in the U.S. were getting the same titles the EU region have been getting these past few months, but it’s getting pretty obvious from the last few polls that a majority of people are choosing the ‘There’s nothing for me this week’.

@Morgan For me personally I love PS+ I would just like to see other things for the store in general like discounts on more DLC would be great. Seeing games like fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas for example still have $9.99 DLC why would I consider buying those packs when I can get the GOTY edition for $19.99 or less in stores. I feel like being an early adopter of such games is a punishment. I like what you guys are doing with plus game selection isn’t always my favorite but when there are great sales I do tend to impulse buy. Paying $10.00 for a DLC pack isn’t something I am always fond of. Thanks PS+ team
not too hyped about Anomaly, but very happy for LBP Vita!!! i’m buying it tomorrow!!!!! Great Disscount! should have given Streetfighter x Megaman for free like capcom gave to pc users for his anniversary. But hey Sony not a great line up this week but still great system and games.
I’ve been waiting for I am Alive to go on sale for a while now, so I’ll be jumping on that. I’ve never heard of Anomaly, but I don’t mind trying it out, especially when its free. Other than that, there’s not much.

Please add some more free Vita titles in the Store Update next week? I mean, next Tuesday is Christmas! More free Vita titles would be such a great gift to us PS Plus members that own a Vita.
Either way, the update isn’t horrible. I’ll give Anomaly Warzone Earth a try. Also, If some of these discounts will still be available on Christmas, I might buy me a few games since I’m expecting to get some PSN cards for Christmas.

the offer about LBP2 is not clear. How do I buy this game for 0$ If I already got the game by the PS+ offer? Or maybe when the subscription end, I still can play without PS+membership?
I’d just like to point out that if US starts to give the same games as EU for PS+, there’s probably going to be a bunch of upset people that have recently decided to purchase both programs…

Bah. I own both a 360 & PS3. Xbox Live Gold costs $60 a year. I’m doing 3 months of both at a time. Don’t want a year subscription.
There are licensing issues with many games and such. Thus not every game appears in all regions.
Its impossible to play Nintendo and Microsoft games on PS3 and there are no plans to do so.
Not every game for ps3 needs to be on Vita, same for ps2 on psn and ps1 for plus.
PS3 costs like $250 or so depending on the hard drive size

I wish people would stop complaining about owning the games released on plus, because if you are listening to feedback, we will end up with more obscure titles. I enjoy the mix, and would have missed out on some great games if it wasn’t for plus like Boarderlands and Quantum Conundrum. I say keep the variety of games coming.
On that note, we have had quite a few fighters lately, I want to throw my hat in with those who want to see an RPG’s. The original Mass Effect just got released on PS3, and would be an amazing add that few of us could complain about owning.
Morgan, I bought God of War Origins Collection last year when Plus had it sale for $20. My fat 40GB recently died this year. I recently bought a new PS3 Super Slim and cant download Ghost of Sparta. It says I can purchase it for $19.99 but it only shows Ghost of Sparta as a demo in my download list. I can download Chain of Olympus with no problems. Is this some sort of glitch cause I don’t want to spend $20 on a game, I already bought.
Will be getting Rayman Origins for $9.
Sad that we’re not getting anymore Playstation 1, 2, or PSP titles for free. I hope some will atleast be added for purchase tomorrow.
The game this week doesn’t thrill me, but that’s alright. I’m quite interested in the holiday sale- I was considering getting Resident Evil 4 recently, since I’ve had a blast with RE5 (thanks again to PS+). I’m glad I waited, so I can now get it discounted. Thanks, guys.
Also, I would consider getting LBP Vita, but I have similar concerns as other owners in that if I were to buy a memory card worthy of holding all of these good games, I’d have to shell out $100. I hope that in the near future Sony will be able to lower the prices on the memory cards. I love the idea of turning my Vita into a portable arcade, but until it becomes more affordable, I need to hold off and focus on physical game copies rather than digital versions. Maybe you could add some sort of incentive to buy larger Vita Memory Cards, like a free game or money for the Playstation Network?
Sorry, but those tower defense games just don’t do it for me.
But that’s okay though. Still working on Bioshock, Renegade Ops, and Resident Evil 5. And of course all the Vita titles you guys released a while back. So I’m good for a while.

Well, there’s 7 games up there I would be getting if the 1-week sale lasted 2 weeks, since I’m out of town and without ps3/psn access until dec. 29th. any chance these 1-week sales will be extended, considering this will probably be true for many people who are traveling right now, and you guys could stand to lose probably 50% of your sales due to these short 1-week limited offers?
Ok so when i Joined PS plus i was estatic! l loved Borderlands and Infamous 2. oh and scott pilgrim too. but i started to see an ongoing cycle… of shooting games or fighting games. It felt as if i wasted my 20 bucks on nothing. Payday sucked and some others as well. If i see another game that you must use a gun or your fist to do anything I will def not consider this again. My subscription has been out for 2 weeks now and i havent ran to the store to refill. Thanks for nothing and i hope some one reads this and feels the same as me.
Ok so first off I have not regretted my ps+ service. There might not be something every week i would like but it has had me play somethings i might otherwise not have given a chance.
That said could I get a positive confirmation that IF i buy into the little big planet ps vita at discount…. that I wont turn around in the next week or month and find it as the FREE ps+ for vita!? Because that would be a real slap in the face.
