Rampage!? poor. From what I see, the UE and even better … Christmas still are giving minis 4 games for free. Mortal Kombat (conservative). But believe it improves over time, I hope!!!
Not interested in any of the games aside from MGS collection on Vita. Kinda disappointed that it seems Retro City is going to be the free game of the week. Was hoping for a better free Vita game.
Also sucks that we pay $15 for MK Vita, while EU gets it free.

I take back my earlier comment. I always have heard Mafia II was really underrated from people, seems like the perfect time to get it. Before someone tells me its cheaper at GameStop, I’m fundamentally against the place, so back off.
My MGSC question. I wanna buy the collection on PSN friday. BUT!! I don’t have memory for the full 2 games at once, please tell me when you buy it digitally you get the 2 seperated games and not the full sized game. I really want it but can’t fit it otherwise, and I mean absolutely can’t fit it. I still can’t play Uncharted for the same reason! So please either put the Seperate games on sale for 9.99 each if it doesn’t come as a 2 piece download. Thanks!!
BTW, I saw RCR just now and was like oh hell yeah whats the Vita price? Im going to buy that for sure. Then Boom!! Free!! Well thank You. that just saved me about $7.49!!

Yep, I’m currently going through that with Lumines: Electronic Symphony. I just got a Vita and that’s the game I want most, but I have a sneaking suspicion that it’s going to be given away for free or discounted soon. I went through that with Rayman Origins and then it went on like a 50% sale, so I bought it.
I think a good solution is just to hold the PS Store to the same standards as a brick-and-mortar store. If I buy a game at a Best Buy or Walmart and it goes on sale the next day, they’ll redo the transaction for me with the lower price. If I find it at a lower price at Walmart, Best Buy will price match them because they want my business. None of that is true for the PS Store.
There should just be a grace period of two weeks. If I buy Lumines today and it goes on sale next week, they should give me back the difference in PSN credit. That’s seriously easy for them to do. It’s fake money. It’s changing a number in a text file, essentially. The only thing they take a hit on is server costs of whatever I download with that credit, but it ensures I’m going to buy something else.

Playstation Store EU is much better than Store USA. They are giving MK for free on ps plus users, im so disappointed.
I just hope whatever replaces Jet Set Radio Next week isn’t something that’s garbage.
I think if you’ve got Plus, your best bet is to almost never buy anything unless it’s on sale. That’s been my strategy. I still get a bit disappointed now and then, but not so bad. I’m getting the $3-5 / month out of it that I put in, on average, I think.
That takes a lot of patience, though.

Also when will the vita get the hulu plus app they said sometime this year and still no news the vita needs better apps like crackle hulu plus and vudu and the web browser needs flash support i love my vita but honestly i can do more on my phone than my vita right now i do like the netflix app and the youtube but i watch hulu the most mainly because it has all the wwe programs and i like to catch up on the shows i might have missed while im on lunch break

That’s the thing. It’s not free. I’m paying for games. I’m paying for lower prices. If they aren’t offering games or discounts I actually want, then it doesn’t make sense for me to pay for the service anymore. For a while, they were doing a fantastic job. In the last couple months though, they’ve been dropping the ball hardcore.

Granted EU has had some awesome deals and games for PS+, US + is still a hell of a deal. Some people need to realize you can’t always get what you want! PS + is an amazing value no matter how you look at it. Beats the hell out of crappy 360 LIVE. My ps account never got hacked and $300 + dollars stolen out of my account and spent of FIFA 12. That crap is still rampant on Xbox with no end in sight considering EA and Microshaft have profited over 40 million dollars from it!

The games before Retro City were not the worst I have seen but to give us something like Retro City is not something I would download. At least I have not tried Anomoly yet,
So I guess there is always hoping for next week…

@70 exactly with any other premium service you pay for.. whether it be netflix, costco, Steam etc etc EVERYTHING is discounted for those members and if something is free they give you a list to choose from… they dont choose whats discounted and choose your free stuff for you and basically say “if you dont like it then too bad”
so yeah if PS+ was FREE and this stuff was being done then its different.. its kind alike the Welcome Back games.. that was offered for free, we werent paying for that nor was it owed to us.. so we couldnt complain about that stuff.. but if youre paying fof a service you have every right to complain about its quality.. especially when you see ppl paying for the same/same type of service that are getting WAY better deals (Steam and EU PS+)
Retro City Rampage. Great PS+ selection. The sale for Hot Shots on Vita has me tempted.
I now have to find a PS3 to borrow to “purchase” Retrocity for PS3, unless you can tell me it isn’t only for just this week as the article seems to imply.
Disappointing was the Flash sale, horrible. This sale is okay. Overall we have more titles and better titles than the EU sale. Not the whole store on sale I was hoping for. Someday I hope to see 50% off store wide. I guy can dream after all.

You not get a free game, you rent games paying US$ 50/year.
And I think that almost subscribers loves the service, but not the difference between we and europeans, looks like sony America is breaking, Europeans got good games and good discounts. For USA they have one or two discounts, not so good, and bad games, they just give us this games because nobody want pay for this games.

Alright, I need to ask for some advice. I’ve been waiting all year 2012 for a sale on add-on DLC for any of these games: PoP, Asura’s Wrath, AC Revelations, Castlevania LoS, Enslaved or sales on games like Megaman 9 and 10, Limbo, Castle Crashers etc. But so far there have been no sales for any of these games. Since next week is the final week of sales, and I doubt Sony will deliver the deals then. I kinda wanted Papo & Yo, is it worth it for around $10 as listed this week? I may just go for that and are Sonic 4 Ep1 and 2 worth it for $15. I would go for them if I was not absolutely sure that Sony had no deals for any of the games I mentioned above. Any suggestions?

at last I got a game that’s not my cup of tea, Retro is one game I’d never bought, and Plus give it free. Well I’m so happy, because if I really want it anyway, I’ll buy it beforehand and makes my games overlapped again.

Pretty good sale, now I got NO excuse not to get Journey :) More things for me last week but good nonetheless. Couple questions though:
1. Will we ever be able to buy a game that is free for plus members? For example if I wanted to buy RCR as it’s on sale (to keep forever), but I can’t because it’s free for plus
2.It just says “Mortal Kombat”. Is this the Vita or PS3 version?

Unit 13 is listed as $17.49 for PS+, what gives? Lower it to the $12.94 you list it at in the blog post, please.
Also, because the blog post was not specific, I thought there was a chance MK Vita would be $14, since it’s also $29.99 retail. Very disappointed on that it’s PS3 and not Vita, especially after SCEE gave EU PS+ subscribers the Vita version in December (and the PS3 version in January, IIRC).
