@DJPlace The update is live now. But to answer your question Sony does have a set time (frame), it’s normally anytime before 6pm PST (9pm EST). And I think we all know if Sony set a specific time to expect store updates, they would get so much crap if they ever went even a minute over lol.
ok thats it in a few day im selling my ps3 slim 320 gb and psvita and sony hdtv im done trying to defend sony and try to work for them and do everything i can ill even cancle my ps+ membership im sorry morgan but i dont know what else to do but stop all support and owning sony products to get the point across well guess ill have to take a trip to gamestop and sell everything for a tablet pc thanks sony its bad enough i sold my xbox 360 and nintendo wii out of support and games to play on my psvita and ps3 wish i could get all my money back but i guess not really was hopeing sony would straightin the psn out to the old none glitchy ver and had decent games to play for once and game developers finally making games with the exception on The last of us , better and more indepth thanks morgan for forcing my hand like this i was a diehard sony freak til today …you guys offically broke a true gamers heart

Can’t believe so many people complaining about this. You have to take into consideration that you paid either $17.99 or $49.99 for PS+, the content is gonna be spread out throughout the year to give you a good deal. You’re not gonna get blockbuster AAA titles every week, it’s all spread out over the year
Really like the discounts though, may end up picking up Machiniarium and Jak and Daxter with that low price

Couldn’t resist… LBPK for $10? Got one, I also took for free Dust and foosball…3 games, 10 bucks… great week.
Haha, Found out something about Foosball. The game is inconsistent in the difficulties. I can be a expert team with no problem, but a Medium team is putting up a goal on me? Another. You don’t even have to move the things just press x the whole time to win in the trickshot one. haha… funny. 6 attempts til I won 10-0. :D
Ultimately minor glitches in foosball. But its fun, voted for the foosball.
This week is just barely saved by the good sale prices. Unfinished Swan, Psychonauts and Jak & Daxter sound good for me (Maybe Machinarium as well). But that free game? Absolutely awful pick.

i thought playstation plus for the vita was to bring in more hardware sells?why are you guys picking crap games for it then.i mean vita users only get one update a month,ps3 users get something every week,but we pay the same price for the service.you really need to listen to your vita users.i know the vita is new and doesnt have many games yet,but come on this is getting stupied.we are getting craped on ever month.i know i am not alone on this,please even out the updates.i feel like i am getting scamed.
I’m loving my PS+ membership more than ever this month. You got me on the hook to purchase: LBP Karting, Unfinished Swan, Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter and Jet Set Radio.
What I love most about this service is how it makes games accessible. I can’t possibly pay full price for all the games I’d like to give a chance to; but PS+ often delivers on the games I’d like to give a shot to with minimum investment risk.
I’m having a blast with Darksiders, Warhammer, Walking Dead, and numerous other games I passed on because of timing or price.
Thank you and keep up the good work you’ve all been doing lately to make PS+ a great value to all of your fans.
can you explain why vita only gets one update a month and ps3 gets something every week?

I am seeing alot of negative feedback about the update but I have to say that I am pleased with it. Yes I am new to the PS3 and plus (only had it for a week) but i feel like I have definitely got my moneys worth already!!
Alright, finally a sale with a BUNCH of GREAT games at a VASTLY reduced price.If you had discounts like this every week your PSN revenue would increase exponentially.Valve knows what they’re doing, and it’s time everyone else followed suit.See like right now, I’ll be getting The Unfinished Swan and HotD Overkill, two games I had absolutely no intention of buying for quite a long time.See how that works?

@sab_krit The ratio shouldn’t matter. Vita owners are paying the same for Plus as PS3 owners and getting a crap taken on them for it. Even with the much smaller library of Vita games than PS3 games, they still have a massive PSP library with some excellent and largely overlooked games to utilize if need be. The updates for both PS3 and Vita should be equal. Not everyone owns both, but the price is exactly the same no matter which way you slice it. Sony wants the Vita to succeed but they mistreat the portable and it’s owners at every turn and don’t even support it themselves proper. It’s frustrating as hell.

It’s at least 3 PS3 games and 2 PSV games per month. Chronovolt is expiring next week. It’s not listed on the store as such, but you can see it on the playstation store update blog post.

The fact that you traded in/sold the Wii and 360 already and plan on trading in/selling your PS3 and PSV should be an obvious indication that consoles are not for you or you don’t do your research before buying video game consoles. If you’ve been a PS+ member for the last 2 years, you must have liked the selection of games and discounts to renew your subscription unless you bought multiple years at once. You haven’t explained what exactly Sony is doing that’s so bad.

If you buy one version of a cross-play game, you get the other for free in your downloads list. You’ll have to download the demo and its unlock file.
@ Sevyne I can see your point that yeah there are more opportunities for the vita that sony has yet to get on top of, but you have to admit it has come pretty far in 11 months. As they say good things come to those who wait.Since the vita’s launch we’ve seen increased support for PSP games (although not as much as we’d like), the addition of PS1 games now playable (again not nearly enough but it’s something), the announcement of Cross-buy/cross-save games, PS Mobile, as I mentioned earlier PS Plus which (in 2 months) gave us 9 games and some pretty good discounts (although we could always use more), and of course a tremendous load of games both physical and retail, and both high budget and PSN games.
I would appreciate a massive ps vita sale soon… some of the full games for 75% off, that would be awesome… (plus I want LBP Vita) … but Unfinished Swan, LBP Karting, and Warp, yes please! Jet Set Radio and Nights Into Dreams I would have picked up if there were more trophies… I am sad when I see games like those getting a shocking 30 achievements on the X360 while we get shafted for the 30 and a platinum, and only get on ave. 12 trophies and no platinums.
crusher if you only knew how bad the ps+ has been then you wouldnt ask stupid questions and secondly ive only kept a ps+ membership on hopes of getting wat i pay for and lastly ive been a console gamer since the nes days before the supernes mind you so if you want to know so badly got to the psn eu site and have yourself a look and check out the sale points they use on the usa and compare them and also if you have been in retail long enough you could spot bs from a mile away comes with experience buddy
ask some administrators that ive burned for trying to sell us a game cheaply i mean very cheaply made for 29.99 and they eventually stopped advertising or bloging about the game due to the fact i exposed the truth about there product

@Sevyne Yep, I just took the ratio when talking abt the number of games given by plus to Vita users and PS3 users. About Quality, I hv nothing to say. plus for Vita has been here from what November or december? They gave 6 free games in the first month, 2 games next month and 1 now. Where as we got only 3 proper retail PS3 games which were 10 – 15 bucks in the shops. I am not sure how much those Vita games cost.
I dont own a Vita and I lose out on the Vita deal. Uptil this update, I guess only this month is not good for Vita but combined 3 months Vita got better deal than PS3.
I usually keep my mouth shut because even if I don’t care for the weeks PS+ games, some people will enjoy them. I feel that the games I have received more than enough content so far to pay for my PS+ fee. This week though….makes me sad. While the sale games are great, I have picked up several titles, the European store is getting a massive sale. Most of Rockstars content, almost all Final Fantasy games, Borderlands 2 and DLC, Saints Row 3, Sonic Adventure 2, Spec Ops, Transformers, Mafia 2, The Darkness 2, and many more. This sale seems a little lopsided to me. (For those that sale the our prices are lower than some of the sale should take into consideration the exchange rate and also even if their games cost more, they are still getting big discounts on them.) I normally don’t compare the 2 markets but this is a little to ridiculous to overlook.
On a second note Fooseball 2012? WTH! I tried this game in hopes the game was better than the name….Nope, I would have more fun if you would have given me a PS1 Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen game….I understand you can’t give out AAA titles every week and I don’t expect it but don’t give us garbage that no one bought. I would pay money to not play this game.

i keep deleting games to make room for the new ones as i have used my 120gigs long ago do i have to upgrade to the new ps3 or is there an easier way?
@ larock6 You can always just buy a larger hard drive and put that into your PS3. I’m not sure if different PS3 models use different types of HDD’s, but I believe mine used a 2.5″ SATA hard drive. You should do some research on the internet or check some youtube videos to be sure.

Morgan Haro, if you see this please reply. I can’t believe how stupid I was, but I thought that the 13 for 13 deal was going to run until the end of the month. I bought so much stuff so that I could allow my dad to play pga tour (ie the move, move controller and golf attachement). and I really dont know. I really need some help and if you could somehow just let me buy it for $10 I would appreciate it so much. There was no indication as to when the 13 for 13 deal would end and that really screwed me over. I really dont know what to do right now and I am about to shoot myself in the head. If you could help me please do. Even though I’m sure you cant. A reply would mean a lot to me. Sigh.
