@JuniorPS – No, I don’t believe you can. When Infamous 2 came up on the discounts, sense it was already on the IGC and i got it, it says Already Purchased. Unless I’d say like I said to the other person, Second account and pay for it on that then toss the Plus version on it, Just keep the other account, Email it to yourself and save the email to your main account in case you lose the info on the account some way.

It would be really nice if the updates/available titles/sales were announced a little earlier… Just dropped $39.99 on LBP Karting Saturday… Would help us digital junkies make better-informed decisions about what to purchase and when!

LOL @ looking at people’s profiles to see if their PS Plus complaints are valid. It doesn’t necessarily mean anything. I have my trophies spread across 3 different profiles. Just because one profile doesn’t have a lot of meat to it doesn’t mean anything in regard to if they are “really a gamer” or not.

I know you may not think so, but a lot of people judge you based on the way you present yourself online, so even though you may be a reasonably smart 20 yr old as an example, you come off looking like an eight year old still learning the basics of the English language.

We understand it is impossible to get AAA title after all initial ICG
But looking at FFT PsP there gives me a hope that it is possible to give psp as icg, and so I won’t ask Cod or resistance or any 40$ titles given free, but why not get psp game compared to these crappy RCR Chrinovolt and even Fuzzball?

I bought Foosball when it came out. Pretty fun game, but I haven’t played it too much. It’s actually a great game for Plus (when taken into consideration we just got Darksiders). I think monthly notices would be better since people typically have short term memory. That way when something like Foosball is in a list alongside Darksiders and whatever else, then it seems like a nice varied collection.
I am of the belief we can’t expect something of Darksides caliber weekly and a nice variety of free games and discounts is what makes for a great service for a wide variety of people.

For those asking. NO I am not talking about giving Black Ops (which sucks so I wouldn’t be surprised if Sony cut a deal to get in the IGC) or AC.
What I am talking about is giving value to those who have + for the Vita, and don’t use a PS3. From the store on the PS3 any user can download a Vita game and instantly keep it with their account as long as they’re a plus subscriber. BUT from the Vita store we can’t download PS3 games. The service is not the same across the two platforms and shouldn’t be treated as such. If one week they came out and said “the only updates this week are Vita games” PS3 owners would lose their minds. That’s an average Vita week. Games like Chronovolt and Fuseball are essentially giving us access to Anamoly Warzone every week. Essentially a 1$ cell phone game. If that. How bout add some Sony games to the IGC? Maybe Hot Shots? Or better yet. PSP Games. Especially considering the incredible over price they are on the PSN. And when sales happen, how bout not ignore those of us who purchased your handheld and actually enjoy it?
If it continues like this 50$ should get access to both services, 30$ for just the 1. Or you could keep ripping off your customers. Sony does that so well.
Didnt like foosball just like most people. I KNOW you guys cannot release a top game every week but at least provide something that people want to atleast download to test. a ps1 classic or something that will get lead to other new games. I BET that if you put some old resident evil, nobody will complain and just play the game and reinforce love for the series and probably buy re6.
I love the discounts keep them coming, it would be great to see a lot of discounts that are not nessesary advertised, and not nessesary -75, like if I log in tomorrow and see some game I like at 15 percent discount that will mean I probably buy it, but the most important thing of that is that people will be shoping around in the store more often, that way people will log in every day to see what on discount and buy more even if the discount is not that big.
But to do that the store would need day to day update and even 2 or 3 updates a day, happy hours and stuff.

@CaptainRadical – Note that, they are just getting into vita recently for plus, until dec. It’s been all for PS3. Also Morgan already stated that vita plus updates will be in the later part of the months for now. Assuming that they gave a few great games as far as I can tell people liked it in dec. So they probably did that so they can have time to adjust for vita. Think about it though before anything.

If you think this is all crap, you really need to reconsider if this service is right for you. Either don’t renew or re-new and don’t have unrealistic expectations…Either way, its a win-win for anyone satisfied as either you will pay again and add another subscriber and give Sony more $$$ or not renew and hopefully you have nothing to ***** about and we quit hearing your weekly “crap” complaints.

Well the free update is the most laughable thing ever. I literally laughed out loud. Guess you guys are continuing the lackluster games for free. Other than the 13 for 13 discount seems cool although the other console’s sale was way better.
A mixed review from me this week.
The sale has some excellent choices, some of which I already own, more that I will be picking up so kudos to that.
IGC – Foosball? Seriously? Before we know it, the instant game collection will be filled with minis. While I don’t always appreciate the games given to us, I can’t see how this is anything other than a delaying tactic as you didn’t feel like giving us anything but needed to look like you were keeping up appearances of a new game every month for the Vita. It didn’t have to be a Vita game, you could have used a compatible PSP game or a compatible PS1 classic. Hell, any of the Disney PS1 games would have been a better choice than Foosball.
THANKS for giving us a vote,,,clearly you can see this week your PLUS free/discount content associates really dropped the ball this week,, especially after a solid triple-play last week with DARKSIDERS..we are not expecting home-runs every week ,,but at least give us a ball to swing at………………………NOW PLAY BALL……lol

These are some Steam store level deals, Unfinished Swan for me, if I had more money to spare I’d get LBP Karting and House of the Dead as well, but unfortunately I don’t. Sony you have really been stepping it up with great content and discounts these past few weeks, keep up the great work!

they had LBP Vita for 17$ a couple weeks ago, I picked it up, that’s a massive discount from 40$, but yes I do hope there are more in the future like that.
Just convinced my boss to become a Plus member because of the free games like RE5, Bioshock 2, Infamous 2, etc. and now on his first tuesday as Plus member he will own for his instant game collection: Foosball!!! (I hope at least it is the Game Of The Year Edition or I’ll get fired)

That’s worse than giving us nothing in my opinion. Giving us the games from so deep in the barrel you have to break out the shovels is actually insulting. I’m glad for wipeout, gravity rush, and uncharted, but those were months ago, and the only one I didn’t already own was the wipeout game.
Not your fault on me already owning them of course.
If you can’t think of anything to give us, then give us a movie or a psp game instead. Don’t give us foosball.

@251 wraith7 – Contact Customer Support. They review instances on a case-by-case basis, and I’m sure they’ll hear you out on saving some money, this close to the sale.
And to all you Platinum e-peen waving lunatics, I have one Platinum, for Portal 2, but I have “100%” Flower, Costumee Quest, and Stacking, maybe some more. I have all but one trophy in Journey and Unfinished Swan. And, yet, I consider myself to have satisfactorily beaten those two, with Journey’s relying on a continuous partner and TUS’s requiring too many run-throughs of one area to be anything but a true “trophy”. One does NOT need to have obliterated a game’s arbitrarily-chosen meta-game challenges to have spent right time with a game. Then there’s the minis, the Classics, and even some games without trophies (Valkyria Chronicles, for instance).
Please, stop calling out these percentages. My sister beat Journey with only one trophy finished, and yet I’d say she’s played it enough to count.

One thing I like about these great updates is you can easily spot the people who are ungrateful complainers who shouldn’t be taken seriously.
You have ALL THESE DISCOUNTS, 1 GB of cloud storage, daily patches/updates, why the hell are you making it seem as if PS+ is just good for the free games? If you can’t afford to get some of these cheap games, I think you need to ask yourself if you should really be paying for a subscription when you get this upset over a free game.

Some of us bought plus for the promise of free great games, to save money. Not so that we could spend slightly less on ones we may not want.
Hmmm, still no RPGs even though they were at the top of the polls a couple of weeks ago. What’s up with that? Okay, so I did buy Dungeon Hunter Alliance on sale for $0.99, but that’s more of a casual arcade RPG lite. Let’s see something like Star Ocean, White Knight Chronicles, Kingdoms of Amalur, or something rare and out of print like Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2.
I already own the Jak & Daxter trilogy. (When are you going to release J&D trilogy 2 with PS3 HD remasters of Daxter, Jak X and Lost Frontier?)
Ratchet & Clank interests me, but I plan to get the trilogy, not just the 1st game. I’ll wait until the whole collection goes on sale.
In my 4 months as a Plus member, the only free content I’ve truly enjoyed has been Bioshock 2 and Darksiders. Space Marine was kinda ok but not spectacular. With Infamous 2, I got bored by the repetitive gameplay and quit halfway through. My membership expires on 1/31, so that gives you one more week to knock my socks off enough to entice me to renew.
@DonkeyKongKilla – yes it is basically the only rule. If you make sure to not be a jerk, you will never break any of the other rules such as swearing, fighting, etc. That is all jerkish behaviour.
@mnstrings – I don’t come here and complain every week. I complain when it is deserved. I praised them last week for giving us Darksiders. I left one comment this week that can hardly be interpreted as a complaint. And now I have left two more comments than I planned to because the people who “complain about the complainers” and act boorish and aggressive in insulting people (AKA you and several others) have goaded me into replying. So good work, now I’m gone for good. I’ll be back next to complain even if they give us the best update in PS+ history hurrr durrr.

Then you should really consider not renewing if you are not satisfied with the current level of service. You either take it for all its parts or don’t. If you are always expecting free games and ignoring the other parts of the service you are not going to have as much use out of it as the way its intended to be had.
I see this week’s update as a mixed bag. It doesn’t seem like my type of game, but I’ll give it a shot (why not its free), I’m loving the cloud storage for my saves, and now I get a chance to buy quite a few games with amazing deals.
At the yearly price of about ~$4/month, its a great service. Even if you take away all the free games received and just look at the cloud storage, auto-updates, and sales, its a great deal.
Sorry you are not really enjoying the service lately, but like I’ve been telling a few people here, maybe you should think about it really hard and ask yourself if you really want to pay for a service that does not satisfy you. I know I wouldn’t.
