  • so next month the free game should be mortal combat vita =D

  • same here, thought it was just me, wifi at work is mad slow

its already been 4 mins and it says 120mins remaining

  • mine picked up speed,20 mins to go

  • @sweetdreamz9999, that would be freakin’ sweet!!

  • My device running on a fiber optic network with a 100Mbps and the download is so fking slow… i will try to download on ps3 tim think this is vita problem or something.

  • ignore “tim” word LOL

  • @ sab

I don’t have to take a picture or screenshot, the post won’t go anywhere so you can’t go and erase it.

What”s your problem? Seriously? All I see if you always calling people names? I mean can you not engage in a civil discussion without the need to insult people? You take things WAY too seriously. I don’t know if you start things or not, but you’ve got to stop taking everything so seriously. You’re the only person I see here obsessed with getting in the last word and if you get called out on your erratic behavior/comments, you go off on them for no reason at all.

I’m sorry you feel you have to lash out at people for no reason. Yes, I know you will probably call me a name now or something, but I don’t blame you. Not all of us can come from an environment where we are taught to be respectful to others. Its not your fault most likely you are the way you are.

And like I told someone before, me and my brother share the PS+, so sorry if you feel threatened or hate it when people with a little yellow plus come here and post. You better get used to it because I am not going anywhere.

  • hehe i am using the vita to download it must me your wifi

  • Hi Morgan, first of all i want to thank you for all the hard work you make to bring us enyojable titles every week.

Am new to psn plus ( only 3 month’s by now) but the quantity and quality of the games we are given to play is good.

A Lot of people find that EU content is more appealing that US content. (Myself included), but that is not a reason to me at least to cancel my psn plus account.

Yet on the other hand, I really hope that in future updates, the quality of the games we are getting is somehow similar to our EU brothers.

This is not a complain, keep the good work out there.

P.D: A lot of psn plus users are asking for a RPG title ( i would love one to) so maybe for next month you can give us a reason to belive… lol.

  • Always wanted SIGMA,never got a real chance to buy it tho. Thank you PS+

  • @sweetdreamz9999, dont think it’s my wifi, i’m downloading on ps3 right now and 10 mins to go,, but 10min to download 2.3gb is kinda slow.

  • Let go of your attachment to being right, and suddenly your mind is more open. Call each other idiots if you must, but then move on.

Playstation Plus did not change, you got your free games (same amount we always get), this update just happen to be for Vita… they did not subtract a PS3 title to give this one. It’s all in your head.

Also @Morgan, yes that’s exactly what I read about the game. I can’t wait to try it out and perhaps I may develop a new taste for a ‘new’ (to me) genra. This is what Playstation Plus is about for me.

  • i see.well then guys mine is done so see ya,happy gaming everyone

  • battery is about dead now, lol.. but the game is excellent

  • another dud week. europe continues to get relatively new releases while US + members get 4-5 year old games. great work. could have at least offered the PS3 version of sigma for free too for those of us that dont feel the vita is worth purchasing quite yet

  • WTF!?! Last week we get foosball?? and 13 for 13 deal which i had most of the games already and now we get a Vita only game? 2 weeks of nothing for me. I hope next week is better because lately its been a whole lot of nothing for this ps3 owner :(

  • Thank you Playstation Plus for ALL of the FREE games for less than $5 a month (With 3 months free it’s more like less than $4 dollars a month)…for all who oppose about the “cheesy Fooseball or no FREE PS3 game download for this week please go get an Xbox and download all your free games with your yearly subscription to just be allowed on LIVE. For me I’ll stick with Playstation.

  • @Lazo87

No disrespect but they just gave us Darksiders… Can’t expect them to put a new ps3 game on ps+ every couple weeks. Vita owners have been waiting a lot longer for an update.

  • NA gets the short end of the stick as always.
Thanks for the update though. =)

  • YES! Finally, something sweet and delicious is being served up for the Vita!

  • PLAYIING NINJA GAIDEN NOW!!!

  • Kingdoms of Amular or Folklore, please, Morgan. At least provide some sort of RPG love.

  • This is off subject and i am sorry. Can anybody tell me when Ratchet and Clank: Full Frontal Assault is coming to Vita. Thanks guys.

  • Onde esta jogo gratis semanal para PS3- Se começar assim nao irei renovar minha assinatura

  • @EDYGOKU_BR – Exactly that’s my thought abt superman!

  • My anti-Vita comment was deleted lol its not my fault Vita games suck.

  • @Sab_Krit

EDYGOKU_BR is saying: “where is our free PS3 game of the week? and if it starts to be like this he will not renew his subscription”

I wrote something along those lines but with less kind words towards the Vita and was deleted lol but he is right because i signed up for PS+ for MY PS3 and now its becoming something else. I love Sony and its products but i wont buy a Vita until it gets actual games and i should probably stop there so i wont have my comment deleted again. If they want to have ps+ for Vita owners it should be a stand alone program.

  • @Lazo87 – I agree with what u say. But think abt the guys who own both PS3 and Vita, they have to pay 50 bucks each to get the same amount of game? Maybe be some of them hv to choose between PS3 or Vita plus and one of them will loose customers. I don’t think they will have or even wise to have diff plus for Vita and PS3.

  • @Sab_Krit

Well for the people that own both systems there should be an OPTION to have a combined subscription much like what are trying to do now with one week giving us a psvita game and the other a ps3 game which is NOT what i sign up for but it looks like thats what they are doing. I just think they should have an option.

  • To those suggesting that Sony could ask what games to give on PS+ by way of vote… I seriously don’t think that would be fair. Even if there’s some sort of rotation mechanism for game genres…

First, because whatever the genre, it’s always going to be the most popular game amongst those proposed that will win and so some games might never be offered. One of the appeal of PS+ is also discovering titles you might have missed, or that you wouldn’t have bought in the first place but ends up being very fun. Don’t you think those who voted for a non-winning title will be frustrated? What about those who’s favourite title NEVER wins (because, for instance, it’s a niche title) every time it’s proposed? Don’t you think those people won’t renew their subscription? It may be fine if your tastes are mostly aligned with those of the masses, but for everyone else, PS+ would be more like being regularly flipped the finger, IMO…

Not only that, but Sony should also be 100% sure BEFORE even doing the survey, that ALL of the titles proposed have been secured with every respective publisher to be given for free. So more work. And “your game, may or may not be given for free” isn’t something I’d sign up for, as a company…

  • @RE4LNOiZE_42 – You are saying that satisfying the majority of ppl will disatisfy one or two ppl here cuz they didn’t get their desired title. Dude, So the majority of ppl can get dejected to satisfy one or two ppl? SO y even consider asking for a poll in the first place. So its ok that they keep providing us sub par titles compared to EU just to satisy one or two ppl? Which corporate company runs that way? They want to satisfy majority of there customers thus word spreads from mouth wider and more new customers join.

“Not only that, but Sony should also be 100% sure BEFORE even doing the survey, that ALL of the titles proposed have been secured with every respective publisher to be given for free. So more work”
So let it be, isn’t it their job to do work to satisfy the big chunk of this community? if it takes more work, so what let them do it, they are paid for that purpose.

  • @RE4LNOiZE_42 – So what’s ur suggestion then? What will be fair, if not satisfying majority of ppl over one or two ppl? DO u have any ideas that can be implemented which will be fair for everyone?

  • @RE4LNOiZE_42
A voting system is the only way to really be fair, if the majority of a user group want something than they should have it otherwise Sony will have just pissed off the majority like they always do.

Besides a voting system is pointless when all we ever get over here in the NA are bargain bin titles while other regions enjoy constant AAA game of the year titles.
I don’t want to sound ungrateful, but we do get the shaft when compared to other regions.

  • — “isn’t it their job to do work to satisfy the big chunk of this community?”

Of course it is. But is something takes more work to the point that it isn’t paying off in the end (or just paying off enough) then any sane company will put the axe through whatever is costing them too much. Can they improve? Sure. And that’s what we all wish, of course.

    — “You are saying that satisfying the majority of ppl will disatisfy one or two ppl here cuz they didn’t get their desired title. Dude, So the majority of ppl can get dejected to satisfy one or two ppl?”

The aim is not to satisfy a majority or a minority, but to “try” to satisfy everyone. Impossible, I know, but if you are “fair” to 51%, it means you’re unfair to 49%. And let’s say there are three choices… Most popular getting 34% of votes, vs. 33% for each of the other. So basically, you end up with a “potential” of 66% frustrated people. Fair?

My point is that yes, it may be “democratic”, but democratic is not always synonymous with “fair”. Democracy is always fair for the winning option, and unfair for all others.

  • Sure, I completely agree that we’ve been treated in a less than stellar manner compared to EU+ subscribers, but I still prefer this, right now, over a system that would mean I’d always get the same thing over and over.

And I still think that this would completely wreck the system, in the sense that a lot less companies would be willing to accept an offer based on a conditional outcome. I mean, independant developpers would never accept to take part in this, since it is obvious they will NEVER stand a chance against more popular titles, and thus, why agree to something that won’t ever happen? Thus meaning Sony will get less and less choices to offer in those polls anyway over time.

Also, who would sign up, as a company, for an agreement that leaves the terms to a voting system? I don’t really see how this can work, unless all the games would be published by Sony itself.

  • @RE4LNOiZE_42 –
‘Of course it is. But is something takes more work to the point that it isn’t paying off in the end (or just paying off enough) then any sane company will put the axe through whatever is costing them too much. Can they improve? Sure. And that’s what we all wish, of course.’

Do u think taking surveys and trying to negotiate with the production company is going to put sony to bankruptcy? What makes you think the more work they put to implement this will make the company go bankrupt? What u say is not gonna happen, no company will go bankrupt over talking buisness deals or taking surveys or conducting polls.

  • @RE4LNOiZE_42 –
‘The aim is not to satisfy a majority or a minority, but to “try” to satisfy everyone. Impossible, I know, but if you are “fair” to 51%, it means you’re unfair to 49%. Again u r making a indefinite statement,. But even with ur statement, if those 66% are frustrated ofcourse the next time the game with 34% will not be there in the list cuz its already given. And its not a five year term, that those other two games will never be in the list again or the next time they can keep a vote between those two games and provide the highest voted game.

  • Again whats ur point abt independent company not accepting to this, accept to what? Sony hving a voting system for the games to give away, Why are the indepent bothered abt this? Why will the polls have less choices, I dont get this point cuz there are only few games which can be offered and after that nothing will be there?

‘Also, who would sign up, as a company, for an agreement that leaves the terms to a voting system? I don’t really see how this can work, unless all the games would be published by Sony itself.’
What do u mean by this? You mean the ppl siging to plus service?

  • Dude and also its not an obligation for the production company to accept to sony’s deal. The first step is trying. If you keep saying that this wont happen even without trying, ofcourse it will never happen. The voting system is to see what the customers want, once that is done they can try to get it for them, if that is not possible try the second game. its not like they have only one day to do the deal. They can take their time but atleast they should be known what the customers want to see from them. To get that data they have to take a voting system on the game titles, I am talking abt the full games not the psn titles.

  • Maybe they should have a voting system asking plus customers whether they want the voting system for the games or should they continue the service as such, that way one of us will know what the majority of ppl are thinking.

  • can you guys possibly seperate the ps vita ps plus because me and my friends dont own a vita and never will, and we are being bombarded by vita games in ps plus and have absolutely no use for them at all. when i signed up for psplus i didnt sign up for a system i dont have and dont use. id rather get freeps3 games instead of free games i dont have a system for. you might as well be posting xbox games since i dont own a xbox either. and quit giving discounts for games that are already cheap its pointless! you give 1 dollar off a game that is 5$ or games that no one ever plays or wants. and fooseball for a free game? cmon really? i just renewed my 1 yr membership last month i wish i would of known i could of got 3 months if i waited a little bit longer. the only reason im reneweing at all is to play old games i downloaded off plus. seeing as i have to wait 8 months to collect 2 decent games out of 40.

  • As much as i want better quality games i dont want the “majority” to choose because it would mean that we would miss out on some great games only because the “majority” does not have very good taste. I dont want the choice to be given to a community were Call of Booty is the most successful franchise. Just to imagine the crap they would choose lol

  • So u mean majority will choose crap games always. hmmm makes sense and right now we are getting great titles ofcourse. That’s y everyone is so happy in here. Makes a lot of sense.

  • and FYI Call of booty is a psn game, not a retail game.

  • @melodicmizery

I am with you there and have been saying that all day! When i signed to PS+ FOR MY PS3 i didn’t think that in the future it would CHANGE service to support a device i dont own. I mean if this continues next thing you know we will be getting mobile games for some obscure sony device.

  • europe has had more better free games in less then 3 months then america ps3 has had in close to a year. in america ive played heist alot and a little bit of nba jam, the rest i downloaded played a few minutes and never touched again. meanwhile europe had crysis, bulletstorm, sleeping dogs, batman and more!! all we get is a bombardment of vita games when most of us dont even have a vita lol. i wish our games werent 5 years old

  • @ Sab_krit

lol i was referring to call of duty and had no idea there is such a game as call of booty???

  • even the full free games they give us are games like bioshock and resident evil 5, now those are 2 awesome games but if someone hasnt played those yet in the past 5 years then they must be sleeping under a rock. plus you can get them used for like 8$ and brand new for a few bucks more then that and they wont expire and you get the disc and case lol and they dont take 9 hours to download on a capped internet speed.
