Now, all games gives me 1495 results ON ONE PAGE. So I need to search, well, search works, but it gives a ton of results for matching words. Ok, fine, I can deal with that, not much work really. I get to SFxT’s page. Over 100 pieces of DLC in a single column listed alphabetically……….AWESOME!! Yes there is filtering on DLC searches, but it is awkward. Why can’t I go to a single game page, and find a neat list of the stuff I am interested in?

    ***end of copy-paste***

i really agree with everything he said. (ESPECIALLY the parts:

All games on old store, the way I used to shop. Oh hey, it starts with an “S,” I go to S, then pick my game, all the DLC is right there at the top, I could even choose a single column, three rows, hell, five rows (my personal preference) with the Square button. If the game had a lot of DLC, say Street Fighter x Tekken, they would be neatly filtered by DLC type on their own individual pages, a sense of logic was used.

    <>

(i really miss that feature of the “old” Playstation-Store. that’s how i used to navigate the darn thing in order to find the stuff i wanted. and it was much easier than the convoluted mess we have now).

i second that [what he wrote in this last paragraph].

  • Why is Here Comes the Boom on this list?!

  • So, does anyone know how much this e-copy of Ken’s Rage 2 is going to be? If it’s anywhere near $60, forget it! If the publisher can bring out a retail copy for one console, they can full well do it for every console.

As a day-one buyer of the first game, I feel more than a little bit slighted. I was looking very forward to this game. Now, I couldn’t care less.

  • Sly 4 is mine !!! One of the best platformers ever, can’t wait !

  • Dear Sony, basically what the big long post was saying is we, the people of PSN, hate the new store layout.
    It is impossible to navigate.
    It runs slow.
    It basically just plain sucks.

If you are determined to leave it as is, at the very least give us the ability to alphabetically sort out downloads. It shouldn’t take me 2 hours to find a game or dlc I own.

  • I lucked out and found a copy early at the mall a few days ago, and for anyone worried about the preorder bonuses, I think they can be unlocked through normal play. By collecting Cooper masks around the game, you can unlock bonus items, and I unlocked the Sanzaru paraglider skin through that. I’m pretty sure the preorder bonus is just an early unlock of that.

Also, I can easily say Sly 4 would have been worth $60, especially with the Vita version included. Sanzaru did a great job with Sly, and I’d say it’s better than any of the first three entries. If you’re on the fence about buying it, get it.

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa 1 day to sly cooper thieves in time
i cant wait to get it in the psn store tomorrow

  • Is Sly Cooper Thieves in Time having a midnight release on psn? i hope so!!!

  • @OBond007

I feel your pain, but you need to relax a little bit, you seem like a decent guy that’s frustrated with some of the same issues that I am.

Pretty sure your could have summed all that up into a single paragraph, it sounded entirely like an issue you should have called customer service over, instead you came and posted 13+ messages about it here, alas’ I do agree with some of your points, The new store, while attactive and a step in a bold ‘new’ direction, may not be seen as a ‘good’ one atm, and they need to introduce a proper search function again, especially when sifting through 1500 downloaded items, It’s severly annoying and usually costs most of the time you had to game just to get set up, but once they iron out the kinks, and incorporate new hardwares/network protocols, it’ll more than likely make a lot more sense.

Until they fix the ‘download list’ crap (ie. add a search function) We have to plan ahead a day or two in advance before we play a game alone or with friends lol.

  • Finally Sly…can’t wait and DS3 come to papa…also I’m eager to watch Here Comes the Boom.

  • i just noticed that the post another Playstation-user said that i was copy-pasting from, was “eaten” (PSN-ID included) from my copy-paste.

i don’t know why the freaking Playstation-Blog did that, but it really freaking sucks, and it made it seem as if i was making one long huge post instead of having finished doing my “one long huge post” (which i finished in comment #96) and then made other comments/posts (particularly those in which i was copy-pasting what some other people have said, and replying to it/commenting on it).

  • Dead Space and Sly for me. Will be a nice balance! :P

  • but anyways, i’ve been seeing [and reading] all the comments on https://blog.playstation.com/2012/11/03/the-new-playstation-store-now-available/#comments and https://blog.playstation.com/2013/01/24/introducing-the-new-sony-entertainment-network-online-store/#comments and the general consensus (with certain exceptions) is that the “New” PS-Store sucks/is-a-“downgrade”/has-lots-of-missing-content/stuff-is-not-organized-the-way-it-should-be/pretty-much-alot-of-the-other-complaints-that-have-been-made-in-other-blog-posts/etc. and that (with certain exceptions like i said) most people find and/or think that we should go back to the “old” PS-Store (ie. what people have been affectionately-calling “Old Blue”).

  • (continued from post #121)

Personally, I think that Sony [Playstation-Store] (the people responsible for that particular part of Sony) should do what Naughty Dog did in regards for the crappy-aiming in Uncharted 3: listen to ALL feedback, invite Playstation-gamers over to their (Sony’s) offices so they (Sony) can be shown what’s wrong with the Playstation Store and why it’s “so confusing to navigate” and all the other things that are wrong with it that we [and other gamers] have been writing about it in here and in other blog-posts (the content that’s missing, the content that’s not in the category that it should be in, the sections [and/or categories] that seemingly contradict each other in terms of what they are (eg. “Hot on PS3”, “New On PS3”, “Most Downloaded” (see my post-#95 and post-#96 for explanation on that))), make the changes and release those changes to the Playstation-Store (via a firmware-update or however you have to release them), …

  • (continued from post #122)

…and for those that say the “New” PS-Store is all fine and good and would be worse off if it was changed — and for those that say the “New” PS-Store sucks and we should go back to the old one — make an option (just like Naughty Dog did [with their Uncharted 3 game]) in which you can select whether you want to use the “old” store or whether you want to use the “new” store.
(ie. like Naughty Dog did with their Uncharted-3 “aiming”-patch: there’s a setting in the “Options” > “Controls” (or something along those lines) menu, in which you can select whether to have the “altered” (ie. “fixed”) “aiming settings” on “On” (ie. “Enabled”) or on “Off” (ie. “Disabled”).

Give us the option to select which of the two Stores we want to use; the old one or the new one. That would make it easier on everybody; those who like the new PS-Store and don’t want it changed back to the old-blue one can continue to use the new store; and those who hate/despise/don’t-like/find-it-too-confusing/for-whatever-reason don’t want to use the “new” store, can revert [back] to the “old” one and use the “old” one. and there: everyone’s happy.

  • @Kedaro (post #111): “it sounded entirely like an issue you should have called customer service over”

I tried that; it didn’t help.

All the suggestions given didn’t help and/or work.

I also agree with what you said and understand what you said. And thanks for your advice by the way :-)

@BandicootKing (post #107): I understand what you said and agree with what you said. And thanks for your advice by the way :-)

  • The only thing interesting is Dead Space 3, but everything else is just dull. Don’t get me wrong, I love PS3, and sony products. But, I think sony has lost it’s touch, they haven’t released any good demos except a couple. And two problems with that 1. they don’t release a demo of the game untill the Final product is almost out, for example dead space 3. & 2. they always seem to make the better demos only for people who are exclusive to Playstation Plus, and not to regular customers. I hope they do, but I highly doubt it, that they release a Demo of Aliens:Colonial Marines for public demo play. So now I have to wait till next week to find out what they will have on the PSN, hopefully something good.

  • If Ratchet & Clank Full Frontal Assault doesn’t come out for Vita on Tuesday, I’m gonna be really annoyed…

  • I played the demo of Thieves in Time and enjoyed it, but I am anxious to see what kinds of new features we have to look forward to in the final game. I probably won’t pick that up for a while yet – PSASBR and LBPV take priority!

    I’m trying Bently’s Hack-Pack asap!

I’m a little bummed that there isn’t any mention of new PSOne Classics or any other PSN downloads this week, but there are two big games in the drop so I guess it’s understandable. The FF 25th Anniversary Sale makes up for it!

  • I think all of these updates are VERY weak and very overpriced for these games.

  • Is it just me, or does anyone else think there is no Rey anymore? Other than a logo on these weekly posts, we haven’t actually heard from him in a long time. He disappeared from the blog cast weeks ago, with no explanation. Is he being held hostage in a foreign country?

  • at what time ken’s rage 2 is available

  • Is Sly Cooper Thieves in Time getting a midnight release on psn?

  • @#8 its the 20th dummy … Getting Dead Space 3 for 360 and Sly Cooper :D cant wait

  • This blog sucks all you guys do is complain about what games should there be for the vita. Sony is not gonna listen to none of you get it this is a market strategy and they cant compete with xbox so they are barely hanging on. I just sold the crappy ps3 I got for Christmas bc it was garbage they are barely taking out Skyrim Dlcs? seriously? Im already done with all of them on my xbox 360. soooo disappointed giving my vita to my little brother maybe he can smash it good lol. well the whole point is that Playstation is becoming garbage and ps4 is going to be a complete failureeeeee

  • I don’t get it? Dead Space 3 is day one digital but I can’t see Sly 4 in the PSN store anywhere. You would think being a PS3 exclusive this game would be a day one digital on the store. Heck! its not even on the featured list. I was trying to decide between Dead Space 3 or Sly 4 but I guess my money is going to go to DS3. PSN store can suck it.

  • when is the psn update for sly for and the mini games from bentley
that wat sanzaru says on facebook

  • @136

I notice here in central time that the store usually updates at around 4 pm on Tuesdays, unless its a bigger update then it takes longer. I agree though that sly should have been included on the midnight update with Dead Space 3, which I have downed already and its good.
I wish Sony would give us the option on all new releases to purchase them digitally, in fact I think more people would if they would include all of the pre-order content from the various retailer in the digital releases. I know I would always buy digital if that was the case.
