Closure (PS3)

Free for PS Plus members

Closure is a unique and stylistic puzzle platformer that takes the concept of light and shadow and twists it up into something never before seen. In Closure’s dark and foreboding universe, the only things that exist are what you can see. An object properly lit up is physically there, yet an object shrouded in darkness ceases to be. Experience this mind-bending puzzler free as a Plus member.

Critter Crunch

Developed by the geniuses at Capybara games, this award-winning, critically-acclaimed puzzle game asks players to take control of the cuddly Biggs, a loveable jungle creature with an iron-clad stomach. Biggs is in search of the jewel-rich critters that invade his habitat once a season, and using his tongue to pluck them from their vines, stuffs them into the waiting mouths of larger critters. This sets off chain reactions of bursting critters that drop the tasty jewels for Biggs to regurgitate for his hungry family. Sporting an 87 / 100 on Metacritic, with 1up.com giving it an A and praising it for its “”Beautiful visuals and inventive puzzles…worth sinking your teeth into.”, you owe it to yourself to hop on this gem for only $1.40. Plus, it has a ‘Barfing Tutorial’. I mean… c’mon, how can you pass that up?

  • when i checked the ps plus yesterday , alien breed for ps3 was showing as free and vita at 7,99$. So i choose to donwload de ps3 (i don’t have a vita) and i got a error, i retried… after 2 min of black screen and loading bar i pressed circle to quit and bang, the two games was downloading and i got charged for that, WITHOUT ANY COMFIRMATION FROM ME!. it suck, alien breed don’t worth 7,99$.

  • So I tested closure and its not the type of game I want to play on a ps3 , maybe on and ipad or mobile, Even on a psp, but on a ps3 I feel like im wasting my time on this game.

I’m OK with people leaving feedback as they see fit, as long as it’s not offensive feedback or insulting others. But the community noticing the differences between EU and NA, is I’m afraid, perfectly valid feedback; but I’m seeing what options we might have to allow those conversations to be a bit more focused in this space without taking over the comment section; know what I mean?

are you guys stupid?? the ones who come here to argue with the ones who are dissatisfied??
PrimeroIncognito, you are the worst of the bunch. most people want parity of quality, not an accounting of quantity. no one cares if you have been given 50 dollars worth of content and enjoyed it except sony. they also care about who doesnt enjoy it. the rest of us, really don’t care for being given bargain bin games they would never buy or play, and then account for their base price as a means of being satiated. thats absolutely pathetic and i feel sorry for your existence. and yes, i was a subscriber and i might be again, but not until i see
something i would actually pay for.

    continued

  • the general impression MOST of us received was that this would be a rotating game list and that there would be a couple quality titles, NOT that the same two ‘ titles would remain on it the entire time, i beat infamous 2 months ago, and that was the main reason for getting ps+, i figured by the time i beat it, they might have rotated it out for something equally as old but good. no luck. they are the ‘evergreen’ titles and we are stuck with them, so ps+ is just an opportunity to experience the bundles one normally gets when buying the ps3 with a few crappy bargain bin games every month. cool, if thats your game, not me. i’ll save my money and wait for something quality. im not lucky enough to have money to throw around thanks to working my ass off and crippling myself when i was 19 so most of the sales dont mean a thing to me in terms of ps+ discounts.

  • i think that ps plus should update next week and give us a new full game like mortal kombat or sleeping dogs

  • come on US ps plus you can do better than this

  • or even give infamous full game next

  • closure is amazing, but i think that we need better games for update, something like, uncharted 1, that’s a ps game, is old, i know isn’t capcom but still!!!! please SONY we need better games in the plus :)

  • So I downloaded Closure… not my game at all really. I don’t see myself playing it again.

  • I just sat and read ALL the comments on EU+ and the worst thing that was said about their service was “I already have this game but im glad others are getting to experience it as well”. I would love to get on here and see nutn but good posts in reference to NA+, but until SONY gets it together ill remain kinda sad.

I long for the day that I can be proud of NA+ again. Come on SONY make some magic happen SOON!
    LONG FOR THE MAGIC AGAIN!!

  • If I were to suggest a game or two to the Instant Game Collection it would be Portal 2, Dead Space 1 or 2, Disgaea 3 or 4, Playstation All Stars and a few more but I won’t specify. Anyways, Closure is a good puzzler for those of you who haven’t played it yet, I just wish we had a FULL PS3 Disc game.

Wow, bud, you went through a lot of old comments to find all the possible holes in my arguments! Well done, and I apologize for the delay in my reply, I had a very long weekend.

PSPlus misled new Subscribers by placing Infamous 2 and LBP2 in the IGC and stating that they will continue to give free games every week. While they did not explicitly state that they will be of the same quality as those two games, they also did not explicitly state that they will have a focus on PSN games. This voluntary omission of information causes most, if not all, subscribers to look at Infamous 2 and LBP2 as examples of the kinds of content they will be receiving. Misleading. And according to comment 556 by chunterosa, I’m not the only one who feels this way.

As for the cancellation issue, I never stated it was a requirement. I merely remarked that coupled with the misleading IGC, a lack of a cancellation would result in “a recipe for mass complaints every week”. I think the evidence is clear on this blog is clear for this conclusion.

  • @Crusher201

The comment to which you’re referring to contains your answer, but I will point it out to you:

“While I agree with you that Unfinished Swan and the likes are much better in subjective quality to some retail games, Unfinished Swan is not the game we got anyway. We’re getting the likes of Foosball (no story), Rochard (crap story, okay gameplay), and now Closure (which may be the best of the crap releases yet). I’ve only done the demo to Closure a while ago, and while the gameplay is interesting, there is absolutely no story as far as I can tell. If there was one, it is probably very short. So even using your subjective method of judging quality, we’re getting screwed.”

See that last line? I was demonstrating to the person who was conversing with me that even using a method OTHER than price, reception, and release date; that judging by -his- standards of evaluating quality (subjective, but something I agreed with on a personal level) we were still getting the shaft.

If you don’t understand what I mean by subjective and objective quality, I invite you to read further past to older comments by me where I make the distinction.

  • EDIT on post 564:

“I think the evidence is clear on this blog is clear for this conclusion.”

    should be

“I think the evidence is clear on this blog for this conclusion.”

  • Just bought Closure and now its free baaah…..Can we get a Journey, Flower, or Flow DLC pack……for free?
