  • Specs Ops is a FANTASTIC addition! Really nice work stepping it up!

  • Fantastic update! I think Europe still got a slightly better update with the DOA5 and ME3 for PS3 + the MGS Vita games, HOWEVER, I am totally happy with the US update and will not complain in the least if the US content updates stay this way! Also, many thanks for going to a monthly update. I definitely prefer it this way!

Very much looking forward to Spec Ops and Disgaea3! Now I just need to finish up my PvZ Vita plat and knock out the other Vita games I picked up from the week 1 sale before I can make room for Disgaea on my 4GB mem card. If only Vita mem card prices weren’t so high I could play them all at once ;)

  • @198 Correct. Plus IGC games vanish from the download list when the Plus subscription expires.

  • If we buy Street Fighter x Tekken Vita digitally, will it still come with the DLC characters for the PS3 version? Because that’s a really good deal with PS+!

  • Love the new update format. Now I don’t have to wonder week after week.

  • I dont think they will put Tomb Raider as a day 1, thats a game I will buy and would be awesome to get the 10 dls but They would have announce it, if that was the case. but who knows maybe.

@dukenator I dont really know what racing game, I would prefer one of the fun ones instead of simulation ones. What I do know its time for plus member to enjoy one racing game and one rpg from the subcription.

  • *Starts Slow Clap For Morgan*

GREAT content this month! Keep it up.

  • please excuse my ignorance, but is disgaea 3 playable on PSP??

  • Glad to see this new format for the PS Plus updates, its a lot more appealing to see whats coming out for the month instead of waiting every week lol. I’ve heard good things about Spec Ops so im looking forward to that for sure. Aside from that I’ll be buying some vita games for sure at those prices.

  • If you love the EU update so much then buy an account its not that difficult. I think morgan and the team are doing a great job here. I guarentee that i have recieved over 300 bucks in games from plus. I also cant believe that some people are still complaining about not gettong red dead, i have a copy ill send to you
    .

  • I appreciate the help everyone

  • Great update guys. Really love PS Plus. It’s a great service. The game I’m looking forward to the most is Disgaea 3. I’ve never played a Disgaea game before and have always wondered what they’re about. Thanks Again.

  • @Rarutos

Yeah, the Vita got lucky & got those 12 new fighters for a normal retail price while ps3 had to pay 20$ for em. There’s no DLC add-on regarding the 12 characters on the Vita store either, so, go for it.

  • Just some feedback: I thought I would prefer weekly updates to monthly updates for the surprise factor, but it is nice knowing what’s coming up so I don’t buy something I’ll get for free soon. Also, I second the people asking to space out Vita and PS3 updates. Alternating every week would be nice.

My PS+ subscription is up in August, and I was going to wait to see if any changes were going to be announced to the program due to the PS4, but this update convinced me to add another year tomorrow before the store update to get the extra 3 months and the $10.

Also, when the PS4 comes out, PS+ could be a great way to build confidence in it. I have a friend with PS+ and a PS3 but not a Vita. Since she can still download the Vita games, she is building value in the system, and is becoming increasingly more likely to buy one to play the games she already has. I hope that I’ll be able to do the same on the PS4.

  • @206 The 2 I’ve played most are: Burnout Paradise & Need For Speed: Most Wanted (2012). I had played a lot of Burnout Revenge, got it 3 times for PS2 and once for 360. Sadly, that game is not even on the PS Store.

  • @214 Ever play Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time? You get the Vita version free if you buy it for PS3.

  • Really cool to add the cent, I renewed.
Don’t care about the format, just bring great titles like Spec Ops. Hoping for Sleeping Dogs but happy with all the games announced. Keep the discounts coming

  • Please PLEASE a sandbox game for PS3!!!!!

  • I do prefer the monthly format. Not only seeing the big items that will be offered for free during the month, but seeing what’s leaving so I have more time to grab it before it’s gone. When I only have one week advance notice on something leaving, it’s easy to miss it if I miss the announcement, don’t check the “Last Chance” area, or just have life stuff causing me to forget to download it.

  • Insane, just insane

Spec ops is one of the best shooters this gen
Digaea 3 is one game I have wanted since I got the vita, but never took the hit, now I get it included with psplus

    Wow wow wow

All this and the huge discounts on the sale, is you guys are giving us plus for free and then some

    Amazing

  • @ZaGe-zAiKaNo Thanks for the reply! But my question was actually related to getting the DLC characters for the PS3 version. Since if you buy Street Fighter x Tekken Vita at retail, it gives you a code (I believe?) for the DLC characters to unlock on the PS3 for free.

  • this form of update is way better

  • Amazing update!!

Love the day one discounts! Please keep this up

Can’t wait to see what services will be on PS4

  • OMG THIS UPDATE IS AWESOME LOL I HOPE YOU GUYS ARE NOT JUST TROLLING ABOUT THIS XD I KNEW PS PLUS WOULD GET BETTER & FINALLY WE GET TO SEE ALL THE CONTENT FOR THE MONTH <3

  • An update full of games I actually don’t own that I wouldn’t mind playing!! This is much better than I expected!

Great that you listed the whole month, it’s a welcome change!

  • JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOE Danger.

    Amazing.

  • great update ! really happy to have the Vita Anniversary sale … have been wanting Oddworld since it’s release – will snag it tomorrow …. never heard of that Joe Danger 2, but watched the clip, & think my son would have a blast with it … looks to be another great month for + members – love the service. appreciate the spend $50 get $10 …. I’ll be getting $20 back next month, so really a nice bonus. would have purchased GOWA digitally, but the blog wouldn’t state whether or not it would be available Day 1 … & I wanted the preorder bonus DLC, so had to go with physical release on that … after playing the single player demo, I was all in. really enjoyed the 4 v 4 MP too … think it will be a very worthy Day 1 …. thanks.

  • Awesome Update :) Glad to be with Sony, quick question Morgan: Do you know if Magic The Gathering will come to the Vita? It seems like a perfect fit :)

  • Now that’s more like it guys! Great job! Been waiting for the US to finally get some amazing content to compete with the EU store. Spec Ops: The Line is a game I’ll gladly add to my collection, beat it, but it’s a game everyone should check out. Great story, cool environment and to boot Nolan North voicing makes the narrative and story line shine that much more. I’ll definitely give Tekken 6 a try and would love to finally check out The Cave. My wife loves puzzle games so using the characters to work together should be a fun game for us to play together. Great job!

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I Bought Spec Ops two weeks ago.
    Thanks Though…

  • I love plus

  • Digital download March…

I ain’t got enough time to keep up with all the games… Keep them coming though because I’ll try to play them all.

  • @Rarutos

That i’m not sure of. I think that would be like Cross-compatibility & for that you have to buy on ps3 – to of course, get it on Vita. Since SfxTk was released with no Cross-buy at the moment, & the DLC characters were also released before the vita ver. I’m afraid it won’t work.

  • Playstation Plus is so outstanding it’s almost obnoxious. The best service I have ever been subscribed to.

  • now thats a plus update. this is how you update for US sony. keep them coming. l almost bought the cave and spec line

  • Not everything really appeals to me this month but still a lot of amazingly excellent games in general here. With Disgaea 3 hitting for free, I guess I need to go back and pick up the first 2 on my PS3. Thanks for keeping Plus awesome, Morgan!

  • So much win right there! I wanted to try Spec Ops for SO long!

  • Morgan. I took advantage of the PS Plus subscription deal yesterday to take advantage of the 15 months, taking me up to mid-to-late next year. I’m hoping I did the right thing…I love Plus but would love one reassurance…Will Plus be on the Playstation 4 also? If not, we’re wasting a lot of money for anyone who buys the new system.

    Thank you.

  • Awesome update for the Vita this month, i have been playing through Fire emblem on the 3DS (yes i have both) and have been getting back into turn based games, so i cant wait to get my hands on Disgaea! oh and i have heard great things about Speck ops so ill put some time into that also!

  • @238 Morgan said that Plus isn’t going away anytime soon, so it might appear on PS4, but that’s far off.

  • This is actually really nice, thanks.

  • Hi,
I only hope that this week the update been early tomorrow and not almost Wednesday!!!!

  • Thank you so much for listing the whole month. Good line up this month too.

  • Jeez I am going to be so busy with this games along with Naruto ultimate ninja storm 3 & Tomb Raider :3 keep up the good work sony :3 i will always have faith in you

  • Ugh, trying to take advantage of the 15 months of Plus for $49.99 deal, only to find out there is maintenance going on until midnight my time. What a crock.

  • OMG I’m gonna need more than 24hrs a day to keep up with all these games…. not that that´s a bad thing, KEEP THEM COMING!

  • I like this format better; announcing the anchors for the month as a teaser, while still providing incentive to check out the weekly updates.

I just might have to grab Blazblue: Continuum Shift Extend.

  • Great update Sony , i feel so lucky getting Ps+ subscription this months ,3free months and a lot of free games and discounts ,this is just getting better and better.

  • Really awesome update. I tried the Cave demo and it was fun, so I’m happy to be getting the game to play. I’ve really been wanting to try out the Disgaea series, so 3 on the Vita will be awesome! (I just hope my 4 gb memory card can hold it.)
I’m not really into shooters but I might give Spec’s Op a try since lot of people on the comments seem to like it.
    Um, Morgan?
I bought my ps+ membership last week and put it on my account but it gave an error and I had to call customer service about it. They checked and said it went through for me, but it shows up as a $0.00 purchase.
I paid $49.99 for this, so I am worried about the spend $50 get $10 back promotion qualifying.
Is there any way you guys could check on this for me or reassure me it should work?
