  • Hey Morgan, quick question, when the PS4 comes out, what will happen to ps3 plus? Will it still receive free games, or will it only be for ps4/vita, or will ps4 have a separate plus? Could you give any info on this, as I’m not planning on getting the new console for a while, since I have so many games including games from plus to complete hehe.

  • I’m a whiny and over-privledged North American. I don’t want these games, I want other games. Waahh!

  • I can’t find Spec Ops: The line for free in my PSN Store.
    Someone with this problem?
it no longer appears in the list of psn plus …
    Who could help me?

  • any news on a soul sacrifice demo… only a month left and I need to play demo before pre-ordering with a game like that guys!

  • @553: marcelcaigilia- Specs Ops: The Line was taking out of the PS + April 2.

Anyway, I enjoy this lineup. This are the type of games I want with my PS +. I really don’t care for full PS3 titles. Although I’m not adverse to them in anyway. I just want PSN-only games as I don’t see a reason to collect those type of games. Hardcopy is really the only way to go for full PS3 titles.

All those games, including Demon Souls, looks like a lot of fun to play. I’m very poor when it comes to my skills with a controller, so I really doubt I’ll ever be able to beat Demon Souls, but I’ll give it a try.

I think this is a great month. Here’s hoping for more variety in the coming months. That’s all I really want. I enjoy all types of genres.

  • I dont want okami for plus, wont play it.

  • Any chance of any of the Digimon World games coming to PSone classics?

  • 3 ps3 games and 1 vita psn game is pretty lame for vita only plus members. We don’t want old psp games for free. Get rid of Uncharted, gravity rush and wipeout and give us some new retail vita games.

And maybe it’s just me but I have only seen like 2 plus member discounts in the last month. Shouldn’t we get a small discount on most games?

  • so when are those games coming out. im really excited to play zombie tycoon 2 :)

  • Hey morgan, will we ever get the stuff that europe is getting?

  • You know what, I have had Demons Souls since day of release on Retail disc and I do love the game despite it’s extreme difficulty. I never did get to beat the game, and since I left the US to live in the Philippines for a few years I haven’t had a chance to play it due to leaving my things back at home in California. Now that the game is free for PLUS subs I can finally download it onto the PS3 and play it again and try to beat it this time around. I want to thank you for such an awesome update! Being able to play this awesome game once again (this time directly off my HDD) is really a great thing! I’m not crazy about the other updates as I already bought the Soldner X games on day one as well as The Walking Dead and beat them a dozen or so times, and the rest of the offering for this month just don’t thrill me. But Demon’s Souls is a wonderful game!

  • This got me thinking… You know if we are going to get older games for free at this point (and I’m not joking), I wouldn’t mind getting MORE of them each month. Like lets say 4 a month…. LAIR, Heavenly Sword, Genji, and Untold Legends would be a great start…. I know the vast majority would say that I’m crazy but unless your going to give us a game as new as 2011 for free you might as well go old school and give more each month than just ONE title.

Also, the REASON I would like more old games on the PSN for free, even though I own them all on retail disc, is to be able to just play them on the HDD for faster loading times and ease of access.

Which leads me to my main reason why I’m commenting on the Blog for the first time in years.

  • Can you, Sony, PLEASE give us an update that will allow us to INSTALL our games onto the HDD of the PS3 for faster loading times, even if we still need the retail disc to play the games? Someone once told me that their 360 had this option within the system settings so all their games will load faster. Can we please get an update like this for the PS3 console? For the LONGEST TIME I have been waiting for this and surprisingly never got it.

I also WISH you guys would fix SILENT HILL PSOne (retail disc) bug on the PS3 so I don’t have to rely on the PSN download version. I would like to just play that game using my retail disc and have it play perfectly…. I have been begging for this for so many years that I gave up on even asking for it on these blogs as you guys never write back to reply to me and I guess you just don’t care about the stability of the B/C of PS1/PS2 games on your PS3 console. I find that sad considering I bought 5, yes FIVE, CECH-A01 models just to have the B/C PS3 in every room in my home.

Ho-hum… but since you guys never reply to me I guess you either A). Don’t read my comments or B). Don’t care enough to reply :'(

  • I’m also very curious what will happen when the PS3 is no longer being supported due to PS4 coming out. I understand that the PS3 has a 10 year lifespan due to it having the Sony DNA, however once 2016 comes and goes and the PS3 is no longer considered a viable option for Sony to support what happens to us PS Plus users? I have been a PLUS subscriber since day one of the inception of the PLUS program so I have a LOT of free content… PS Minis, PSOne titles, and PS3 games as well. Once the PS3 is no longer supported and PS+ comes to a close will we have the rug pulled out from under us and have all our free content discontinued, or will we be able to keep all our wonderful games that we collected over the years as a “thank you” from Sony for being a Plus member though out the PS3 lifecycle? I’m hoping for the latter of coarse. If all the content is turned off once the PS3 Plus ends, I will be very displeased.

  • Thanks for the free copies of Hitman Absolution and Sleeping Dogs… oh wait that’s PS Plus Europe…sorry… guess Zombie Tycoon 2 will have to do…

  • Us vita games don’t work on eu vitas do they just checking.as for the eu plus I have it being English lol and I doubt they can keep up the quality so i’m sure we will get many of the psn titles in future months you guys are getting.while you will get better games.:-D although I heard eu are getting the latest hitman game in May.I just get both eu and us I prefer the smaller psn games.

  • why eu have better games than us? i see the may update and they have hitman absolution and much better games than us??

  • I will only join ps3 plus IF:YOU INCREASE TIMED TRIALS from the absurdly short time limit of 1 hour! Sometimes it takes a whole hour just to learn the controls like which buttons do what, and etc.SO an hour is not nearly enough time to enjoy playing the game at all. Instead of an hour it should be a whole day,but at least 3 or 4 hours to really try out the game.otherwise its not even worth the hour it takes to download and install a game to get to play it for a mere hour, so it can become disabled once I finally figure out how to even play it! p.s. theres alot of other ways to try a game before you buy(free ways I wont get into details about), so offering a mere hour to paying customers is almost an insult.

  • Eu plus members gets better game then us can we get games like the eu plus members please thay are geting hitman next month

  • GREAT GAME
love this game, good thing they give it free for PS plus . so people can see how great this game is. it made be annoying at first but it grows on you.

  • More PS2 classics plz.

  • Dark Souls next? ;)
