  • People forget that +Plus is a double edge sword. One side we see the crap they want us to have [IGC] While the other sees the actual stuff we want [Discounts] 2 Days left for me TICK TOC. I screwed myself last time by not taking off the (AUTO RENEW) Haven’t made the same mistake this time. I’m done with PLUS in it’s current form. Start giving us what we really want and I may come back but for now my $ is staying where it belongs [My Real Wallet]

  • Not happy with the plus update. I respect the fact that plus TRIES to please everybody with different games . I’m happy with the Vita updates , I bought a 32gb memory card and I got Uncharted, Ninja Gaidan ,Wipeout, and Tekken all for free . Thats just having plus for 3 months , not including the games on ps3. I got over a year to go. So thanks Plus

  • Nice, Thank you! that PSN looks great

  • Morgan I have an suggestion. Instead of coming out with these 15 to 20 dollar games, which are lame, why not give us games like WWE 13. Especially since this month was Wrestlemania. I do like Demon Souls. It was good. However, I would rather play something better. More challenging. More up to date. Newer.

  • Hahahahahaha! Morgan! You made my day by making that early slip on the PS+ discount for Guacemelee.

Originally I was told in a PSNstores blog post that it would be 9.99 crossbuy so I was alittle dissapointed that it was 14.99 on last week`s PS blog post (due to misinformation) but with a PS+ discount, Guacamelee is back to day 1 for me! Just like Tokyo jungle, if a game is 11.99 I have nothing to lose, and everything to gain.

Good work Morgan, also looking forward to the free release for this week (Labyrinth Legends looks good but its going to my backlog).

  • One more thing… can you please integrate the PSblog with the vita as a app that sends us updates when you guys post something new? Google Reader was the only way I was getting timely updates of the website but that unfortunately is closing down soon (which is a shame since google did not see it as a profitable venture despite its large install base).

With google reader gone, I won’t have access to quick and easy access to looking up PS blog updates on the fly. I may do RSS, but I would prefer if you guys work in a app for the vita that gives updates on the vita, or maybe you guys can work it into the PS4. Also, Itd be cool if we can login from our consoles/handhelds and comment from their instead of a PC.

  • I wish I had the time these guys had to devote to gaming, because they obviously have played every game that passes through their hands. The lack of quality in any one game throws them in a tizzy!! By the way, do they know that quality is a dependent variable, for example, “its cheap, but good value for the price?”

I have such a backlog of discounted games and freebies through PS+, I don’t need to fall in love with every months offers. Do like to get them, though, and then regret that they bulk up my download list.

Except DS. I know its a quality title, but I HATE insane difficulty in my games. I am not downloading that piece of torture.

Keep doing what you do Morgan…Yay, Sony…Yay PS+.

Also, keep complaining, complainers, your purpose is to keep them on their toes!!!

  • What will be the discount on Guacamelee?

  • MGS HD Collection and Red Dead Redemption GOTY Edition would make my whole PS+ year ;)

  • @beef_child:

Demon’s Souls takes time and patience. I feel you though bro. I bought the game last year in April after the announcement of the closure of servers and to quickly experience the game but it required patience to learn that I didn’t have.

Well… for awhile. I began to learn and adjust to the game’s learning curve and throw ins but then I dropped interest as soon as my most anticipated game of 2012 came out (Starhawk) and never played any other game for months. Starhawk killed all of the games I was playing at the time (I was playing DS and Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, never returned to either after Starhawk’s launch).

  • I have heard Labyrtinth Legends is not that good of a game what does everyone else think at least this is from reviews that I have seen.

  • Playstation Plus baby! Surprising and delighting gamers while simultaneously disappointing spoiled kids and adults that don’t understand the value of a subscription service at the same time since inception! Keep up the good work plus team! :D

  • woohoo! guacamelee discount! Can’t wait for the Spring Fever details.

  • any reason why the walking dead is not lasting the whole month? I kinda assumed that with rainbow moon being that way that walking dead would be the same.

  • HarynTheSickness

I just found out that the spend $50 get $10 back is coming this week. I had $55 but yesterday I spent $30 on PSN, I don’t qualify anymore for that promo right?

  • @HarynTheSickness:

Unfortunately, nope. The spend 50$ get 10$ back promo ended since April 1st & codes will be giving out on the 4/12. :(

  • @Gadirok:

My ability as a gamer is borderline adequate, so I know DS wasn’t made for me. Not even going to try to fool myself.

I’ve only ever conquered 1 game on difficult, Enslaved, and one day I may even try to plat it. But I know that trophy hunting is beyond me, and have come to the realization that I’m more of a casual gamer type, not Angry Birds casual. More Uncharted casual, good ol adventuring story hunting, (is there such a type?).

I will leave insanely difficult games to my more capable gaming brethren.

  • By the way, who got closest to 50 or 100 etc. to get promo $’s back? I did $100.04, I think.

  • @beefchild

I think it all boils down to the game itself. There are some games where its one play and I’m done. I played through Dark Souls 3 times however and it was awesome. Dragon’s Dogma I beat 6 times. I haven’t done that with a game since I was a kid in the 80’s. I got every achievement for that game(XBOX). I don’t consider myself hardcore by any means but if I like a game I will play the hell out of it lol. Red Dead Redemption is another I got all achievements for and loved every minute of it. :D

  • Demon souls!

  • this is my first time commenting and i hate to complain but i only have a ps vita and i loooove it but man this is two weeks straight that we have gotten nothing at all, is it even worh havin psplus if we just keep getting the short end of the stick and to be honest the stuff we been getting lately has really been hit or miss as is, man i dont care what you give us but at least give us somehing

  • HarynTheSickness

@ZaGe-zAiKaNo Thank you very much for your reply.

  • Hi morgan, thx for the update, but what about vita sales ,little big planet vita? also is battle royal coming up on one of the sales?

  • @ devious1420

You need to come on here more often and read up! PS Plus Vita content come to the IGC the last of every month and has been this way since the Vita was added to the IGC. Some months you may get a cross buy game on the third week, but it’s usually the last week of every month. Go to the PS Plus blog in the older entries section and you’ll see what you’re getting this month.

  • Labyrinth of Legends looks really fun, would certainly be checking it out tomorrow evening.

  • TALLglassofWATER

@ morgan’s reply to 72 I wseunder the impression that the last time hot shots out of bounds was on sale was the new years sale, when I picked up the complete game+dlc for around 7.50. I’m not saying you’re lying, just asking if there was a sale on hot shots dlc between the new years sale and this one…. if so (heck, even if not) then I agree with the genreral consensus that hot shots has seen it’s fair share of sales and needs to step down and share the spotlight.

  • Hot shots golf out of bounds does it have trophies?

  • When can we actually get full Vita games? GR and Uncharted have to be leaving any time now

  • Looking forward to checking out Labyrinth Legends tomorrow!! I have so many games in my backlog already it’s ridiculous. I’m also still debating on picking up some of the Tomb Raider PS1 classics from the sale this week…I have to make up my mind tonight in case it ends tomorrow.

  • even give out some of the lego games for vita. i know that there are not many games, but there are still games you can give out.

  • and my post goes for the month of April. so shut up.

  • @snakeeyes211:

No trophies as far as i know.

    @Mando44646:

Gravity Rush & Uncharted Golden Abyss aren’t leaving the ICG anytime soon. Sony uses both of those titles to advertise PS+ for the Vita along with Wipeout 2048, just like they do on PS3 with infamous2, LBP2, & Ratchet & Clank all for one.

  • TALLglassofWATER

@128 GR and uncharted aren’t leaving the IGC, just like LBP 2 and Infamous 2. Sony leaves those titles on there so they can more easily promote and sell consoles bundled with a free 3 (or 1) months of plus. That way they can put Cole, Sackboy, Drake, and/or Kat on the box’s design.

Hot Shots golf has no trophies, although they did add 3-D support.

  • TALLglassofWATER

    eeek, beaten to the punch.

  • Hey, beefchild and Gadirok, if I could beat Demon’s Souls when I was a lowly level 7 in 2010 when I’d only been a gamer for a few months, then so could almost anyone. It takes patience and paying attention.

Very important, the servers are not shut down. Atlus changed their minds so they’re going indefinitely. I am on new game plus, which is 40% harder than new game, and I went back to check last week and was happy to see many blood spots (watching the last few seconds of another gamer’s life never gets old, lol) and many spectral images running by.

I loved Dark Souls and am eager for Dark Souls 2!

  • when is Terraria coming out on Ps vita?!
    cant wait no more!! :D

  • @ lisatsunami:

Can you parry spear enemies? I keep trying to parry them, but i get annihilated. Also, when traveling between worlds, is every area the same difficulty? or does each world have it’s own difficulty setting?

  • I must have this. Thanks Sony!

  • Hi, Zage, I suck at parrying so I don’t know. The spear is the only weapon, I think, where you can also use your shield, so that might somehow be related. The best method for me is to keep moving, watch their timing and hit them from behind, to take the least amount of damage. Only way for me to beat some bosses, the ones where you’re in a tight space and can’t hide behind rocks or architecture. Like Taurus Demon in Dark Souls. Sucker one hit killed me no matter what trick I tried, like buffing or becoming invisible. Nope, just dodge, roll and aim for the butt. Lol, got me through many boss battles. Have fun!!!

  • @ lisatsunami :

    Alrighty, mobility it is. Thanks!

  • Oh, Zage, sorry, world difficulty. No, they are all different. 1-1 is fairly easy, then go to 1-2. I think 2-1 is next? 3-1, Latria, is ok if you use ranged weapons. 4-1 is shrine of storms, really hard to get past the first guy, lol. Ranged won’t help because he’s too fast. For him, dodge, roll and back stab. You can then lure and use ranged for rest of that level but it gets pretty hard to reach the first boss. In NG+, he’s one hit killing me and I haven’t figured out a strategy yet. 5-1 you should save until you have fire arrows. Easy to get poisoned or just slip and fall so ranged killing is best. I forgot the rest of the game since I can’t get past the 4-1 boss yet.

  • Anyone know if Zombie Driver HD is worth the six bucks? Tempting…

  • Thanks a ton for the tips!

  • @lisatsunami:

Running around crazily while taking demon attacks upside the head should make for entertaining others immensely.

Why not, it wouldn’t be the first game I put put away in frustration. And it wouldn’t cost me more than a few hours.

ARRRGH!!! THESE FOLKS ARE TRYING TO SUCK ME IN!!!……muuusst ressissst…..

  • PrimeroIncognito

    @ Goofus (#63)

How about you try to be more like the guy in your avatar and “rise above hate”… hater.

  • Hey Morgan! I am a big fan of the plus service and the amount of attention you give to the people posting on the blog.

I have a gripe though. Whenever there is a complaint about discounts (you responded to a comment about Hot Shots), or dlc add-ons, you mention that it’s an extra and doesn’t effect the other content that plus offers. I don’t think that it is a fair response. After the IGC, discounts are one of the biggest selling points of Plus, but it is really disappointing when some of the best discounts are given to the same games over and over. Or to different iterations and add-ons of the same game. You know people would be pissed if the IGC recycled games, please don’t do it with discounts as well.

The extra Plus often saves over PSN sales is great, but it would be awesome if we had access to Plus exclusive sales a few times a month, and that the games weren’t already in Plus 6 months ago.

  • When is soul calibur going free?

  • Please add mag to plus

  • PrimeroIncognito

    @ saab01

Labyrinth Legends is pretty fun. It’s a short journey, but enjoyable while it lasts. I feel like it was worth the $10 I paid for it on day one.

    @ Moofboy

I think Zombie Driver HD is definitely worth $6. I played through the demo and decided it was worth a purchase, and I almost bought it last week for the standard $10 price, but got Wheel Of Fortune instead while it was still on sale. Now that Zombie Driver is on sale too, there’s no way I’m going to pass on it. It’s kind of mindless fun; a silly game… which you need every once in a while.
