  • Much better. Makes it worth it.

  • @shernand64
I’m glad to see that I’m not the only one who actual is really enjoying these amazing fighting games!

    Too many haters here.

  • Gotta say thanks Morgan! PS Plus just keeps getting better! I already have Sleeping Dogs, but it’s a great game to throw in the IGC for those who don’t have it. I don’t really mind getting fighters for vita, but other genres couldn’t hurt either. And I’ll also throw in my vote for more sales, PS3, Vita, DLC, etc.

@TwinDad (#169) Maybe Dead or Alive 5 + or Mortal Kombat (which people have been clamoring for for a while)

@boomstickbhg (#175) is it that you already own the games, or they’re not your cup of tea so to speak?

  • Awesome!!! Thank you Sony. I’m very happy to get Sleeping Dogs. I love PS+ and don’t mind getting smaller free games but the Europe’s list is always out there and it’s obviously much better than the US version. If it weren’t for that there would be much less whining.

  • *looks at Wounded Underwear* Really? people are still doing this? what a shame…

  • Good news! I was planning on buying Sleeping Dogs again but tomorrow I’ll get it for free and with some DLC. That’s Awesome! Also, I had demo for Knytt and thought it was pretty good.

Finally, some days ago I read that there was something planned for Catherine and PsPlus but nothing else has been said (at least that I know of). If something’s happening, could you give us an update please?

Thanks for thse updates Morgan, keep them up!

  • Sweet! I played Sleeping Dogs on my Xbox but I sold it afterward to make money for another game. I regret that decision but now it’s on PS+ with some DLC too. I’m updating my PS+ tomorrow and downloading this. Now all I have to wait for is Hitman Absolution, another game that was given to PS+ members in Europe but not here.

  • @195, you do realize that, by purchasing the game outright, you don’t need a PS plus account to play it, right? Of course, as long as you have the account, it’s no consolation, but by buying it you own a copy of the game whereas Plus is more like renting it. I would love to get a $2.50 credit since I already own Knytt Underground, but technically, I’m not getting the same thing again, so I don’t Sony owes us anything.

  • YES YES YES YES, Hey… Did I forget to say YES?

    Loving it.
    Joined PLUS in December 2012.
    This is my best month.

  • I have account plus U.S. and EU. and this update is to match PS Plus Europe, I really liked this update.

  • JOIN PS+ TODAY IT’S WORHT IT! GET YOUR PSN CARDS AND JOIN! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!
JOIN PS+ YOU WILL LOVE IT!

  • Sleeping Dogs looks great! Anyone with plus that does not have Pinball Arcade is in for a treat. It plays great on both PS3 and Vita and re-ignited my love for pinball.

  • Cool, great game…I already have sleeping dogs but I’m glad everyone gets to play it…any chance we can get discounts on the dlc…i would buy most of it if you did.

  • Once again, disappointing. Ok, Sleeping Dogs seems interesting. But how come does EU get Hitman, Catherine, Arkham City, and no sign of these here? I really can’t understand this difference in treatment between the different PS+ networks. I’ll certainly not renew my subscription if we keep being treated like dumb customers.

  • yay sleeping dogs :D

  • @215

I know you’re disappointed, but it’s obvious they’ve been trying a lot harder…some of the sales and free games over the past few months have been a VAST improvement over the end of last year…I don’t see how you can’t see that.

  • TarheelBlueblood

Thank you for giving the PS3 people some love!

  • F1 racers please

  • @206

Stop yelling, you’re scaring the children!!

  • Finally sleeping dogs! almost bought it for $20 at best buy but I decided to wait and it was worth it. we might be behind EU PSN+ but we still get good games eventually

  • Super excited for Blazblue :D hopefully my Noel skills haven’t gotten too rusty :P

  • OH LOOK! Well, that’s some complaints quelled, though it’s likely not gonna be much my bag. But, hey, works out for SQEX/Sony, too, since it’s DLC-ridden (not necessarily bad, mind). I’m still lobbying for Dead Space or Mirror’s Edge (cause I’m cheap; heck, still debating $10 BioShock since I got it half that price for PC and there’s the $10 DLC to consider).

Looking forward to Knytt Underground. Caught my eye when it launched, and got it for PC from Indie Royale, so bundling it with Plus works nicely for me.

Dunno what to think of Germinator. Guess I’ll find out. (Maybe not; still haven’t played Zombie Tycoon II, after all.)

HEY HEY, MORE FIGHTERS! You guys will run out, eventually, you know…

Keep seeing tables in the Store updates, but with Zen Pinball 2, I’ve pretty much ignored Pinball Arcade. Dunno if that’ll change.

Will Papo & Yo’s soundtrack be on sale individually, too? Got the base game back at launch.

  • Awesome I’ve heard alot of good things about Sleeping Dogs, will download! Great Update!

  • Finally, Sleeping Dog. This month’s offerings sure is better than last month’s weak entry. But I agree with some of the comments here, Vita needs more than just free fighting games. Blazblue is nice and all, but how about Zero Escape like the one EU PSN+ got? That’d be awesome.

So far the EU PSN+ is kicking the NA ass with their offers, so here’s hoping this will change and both get equal nice stuff.

    Keep it up.

  • Wow, I´m really surprised to see so many people complaining that EU is getting the better games, because we are saying the same things about the US ^^

I mean sure, Catherine and Hitman are fairly new games but i can´t remember the last game i received for free with + that i didn´t own before, so it´s pretty much what #216 is saying: they are the first decent games in ages (not counting Mass Effect some weeks ago)
You guys should be especially happy about Sleeping dogs since some parts of EU (i.e. germany) didn´t even got it…we got Binary Domain and Gotham City Impostors instead of Sleeping dogs and Mortal Kombat since they were too brutal to give out for free…

And i can´t forget to mention this blog you have, it´s so much better than ours and you even get your infos firsthand, we get them from the Studio in London and there are so many mistakes and last-minute changes you begin to wonder why some people still get paid for their job.

So to draw a conclusion: be happy about what you have and what you get, you really don´t want to be in our situation, even if our April and May Updates are slightly better than yours.

  • Would really love to see the US market get Catherine as an instant game collection, like EU.

  • looks like very nice :)

  • *reads bits and pieces of the post* Ripley’s Believe It or Not tables? Hmm…

  • This is an awesome month.
Blazblue may be another fighting game but its for the vita and it has trophies. For those who don’t know fighting games i think out of the big three blazblue/guilty gear are the best games that take the most skill. I find street fighter too unbalanced and tekken to be easy too easy. Barely play the game and can get away with in most arcades in asia with just basic footsy high/low tactics.

Games I would really like to see would be:

Vita: Any game made for the vita/ Virtue’s last reward

PS3: Hitman, something that doesn’t involve first or third person shooting. Batman, Portal, Okami HD, Ni no Kuni, prince of persia, silent hill collection, some sort of racing title LBP karting, SSX, Need for speed.

    Trophies, lots of trophies…

  • Worst month yet I mean come on

  • I’m sure lots of people will be thrilled by this update and it seems in the abstract like a very good set of games. However for me, Sleeping Dogs looks like a game version of a movie I have no interest in seeing, I already own Knytt and Blazblue and the have played the Pinball tables on my ipad where they have been free forever. At least I resisted Germinator when it was on sale so that’s something.

Is it the goal of Plus to offer every fighter playable on the Vita because it sure is starting to seem that way.

  • Huzzah for @226 Heartless1988. Add to it your name, that date, and (begrudingly) your avatar, and you’re a Euro after me own heart.

  • @232 cat9966 – All except for Mortal Kombat, because there’s a quota for EU Plus comparisons to fill.

  • Hey is it possible to put this size of the game next to the prices. It would be helpful to know how much i have to delete in anticipation of a new game download. Great update!!

  • Is anyone tracking the Free Games this forum keeps complaining about when Europe gets them? Are we getting the same games, just 3-4 months later? Is there any pattern emerging?
I love you, Sony. But I’d rather have the $30 I spent on Sleeping Dogs on half a AAA I am getting Day One than on a game you are going to give me free in a few months. I waited for the discount. I would wait for it to be free, too. I know you are in the business of taking my money. That is fine. But you are also in the business of KEEPING my business.
    Morgan? Anyone?

  • Good update, been wanting Sleeping Dogs for a while.

    I have some suggestions for IGC;

Dark Souls – Prepare to die edition
Journey (I keep missing the sales lol)
    Batman AA
    Medal of Honor: Warfighter
    Hitman: Absolution
The walking dead season 2: Episode 1 (when released by Telltale)
    Lollipop Chainsaw
    Twisted Metal
    Kindoms of Amalur
    Ni No Kuni
    Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD
    Dishonored

  • sleeping dogs is awesome but seriously how much longer will infamous, lbp, and rachet and clank be available for plus? it seems like you should replace them instead of more recent ones? anyways this is a decent update. cant really complain about another fighter since i dont have a vita anymore. and ill leave you with this…

OKAGE SHADOW KING FOR PS2 CLASSICS

  • Great update! I love having the monthly rundown so that you know what’s coming in the month ahead. The wife’ll be looking forward to Sleeping Dogs. I may not tell her about it though, she’ll end up hogging the Playstation lol

  • Morgan, last month this game was on sale, now it’s free!!! what about ppl like me, who bought the game!!! Dont get me wrong, it’s a very good update, but I m on the losing end here!!! 25 dollars down the drain :(!

  • hell yeah, EU got this already and i got excited and thought it was for us, now it actually is

  • @237

    dont forget

    bayonetta
    dragon age series
    mass effect series
    red dead redemption
    any of the lego games

  • I was waiting for this IGC to come to the U.S. PS+, cool. :)

Are there gonna be more crazy spring sales continuing through out the weeks? That would be nice, if so.

  • Morgan at least you guys should do something for those who bought it on sale for 25 bucks!!! Something anything!!!

  • Sleeping Dogs?! YES! thanks sony i really love u xD hoping deus ex or dead or alive will be coming soon. :D

  • Great update! That’s what I’m talking about!
Sleeping Dogs is just what I wanted! I already own some dlc for it, just needed the game.
Too bad I already own BlazBlue but I will give the other games a try.

  • Sleeping Dogs is amazing, def best open world game last year and in a loooong time. Its a gem

Will the DLC be on sale as well ?

Also, another Vita figther ? Ugh.

  • @BlueBl1zzard

Your right I totally forgot about the EU getting Mortal Kombat and the blog responses asking for it.

  • Great month for Vita users, and Sleeping Dogs is a great adition to Instant Game Collection. PlayStation Plus is proving to be the greatest online service for gamers!

  • SergioCosmopolis

I guess no one listens to customer feedback there. The big game for Vita this month is another fighting game. It’s almost like whoever is in charge started a meeting with, “OK, what game could we add this month that will really upset people.”
Please try to add more RPGs. It’s cool that a lot of people are psyched about Sleeping Dogs, but we’ve had so many games in that genre (sandbox/action) as well that those of us that don’t enjoy that genre are left without much of anything. There has got to be games that aren’t sandbox or fighting games to choose from for the big name monthly releases. I know you can’t please everyone, but mixing up the genres would be a great way to please more people.
