Fuse is absolutely awesome. It nice to see another great multiplayer game…reminds me of Resistance 2 (for obvious reasons). Keep the VITA content coming, we want to see this little handheld succeed.

I’ve got some PS Store issues I want to point out…

For the past month or more, I’ve been prompted to put in my password for everything. Just today, I was asked to put it in for Sleeping Dogs, and the Fuse demo.

And for the past few weeks, maybe since the last software update to the store, downloads haven’t started. After putting in my password for each of those things, a little loading screen pops up…. the one unique to the PS Store that looks like this… ||||| …. and after that, the download bar, with the option to background download doesn’t pop up.

I exited the store to check, and there was nothing in my background downloads. I had to go back into the store to my download list and start the downloads manually.

No Crash or Spyro PS Classic support for the Vita, but hey… we have 3, count ’em THREE new Japanese Mahjong imports!! Hell yes! :P

It reminds me a bit of Nintendo releasing classics like Donkey Kong JR Math and Baseball on VC, but not Eartbound.

I’m REALLY confused by the use of the word “bundle” here. Why is the “Papo & Yo bundle” a bundle if it only includes that one game? Is it because it’s a bundle of “Papo” and “Yo”? Is it because it includes something that is not listed? Is it because “bundle” also means something I’m not familiar with?

lisatsunami said:

May 7th, 4:29 pm

@112, MrBeatdown, that is odd. Passwords? Never happened to me. Did you change your preferences in Account Management? Maybe go look through the many screens in there and see if something is odd?

I don’t know why you wouldn’t be able to download, unless you always try the first hour that the store updates, when thousands of other people are also trying.

lisatsunami said:

@Philly and OneMore, I remember the post said “for a very short time”, which struck as the first time I’d seen something worded that way in the blog. So I took that to mean a day or 2 so I bought SS first day. I really needed the JPN VO because the English Librom was like fingernails on chalkboard to me, so I didn’t take any chances. Has it already been removed?

dajitoka said:

May 7th, 4:45 pm

this hasnothing to do with the question concerns the pinball arcade titles… it doesn’t work….i can play one table,it won’t allow me to play any other table and i have them all.Is there a fix i can get or do i have to delete it all and start from scratch….believe me when i say i am not a happy camper.

Tjoeb123 said:

May 7th, 4:49 pm

@122 When they say stuff like that they pretty much mean it’s good during the launch week. But as I check the web store and see the 545MB file size (for the JPN voices – yes, this needs fixing, as I’m tired of seeing incorrect file sizes for bundles. Actual file size without VO is just under 2GB), I see that it’s still active. Even if it wasn’t, it’s still cheaper than buying the physical copy (which I have).

When are you going to include Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep on the Store? I’d realy love to buy it and play it on my Vita since there’s no way to use the UMD that I got on my previous birthday.

sonintendork__ said:

I mean Blazblue.

OneMoreVillain said:

May 7th, 5:04 pm

@128- Knytt Underground will be available in one of the following weekly updates later in the month. Same goes for BlazBlue.

@122He means the other pre order bonus content such as runes and outfit. The Japanese VO is still there for 1.99$ seperately. But as #124 said, it could be included in with the game and they are just not mentioning it.

May 7th, 5:14 pm

OH HEY, Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational dropped back down to its pre-sales price*. Still a terrible move to jack it back up so that its Plus discount was still higher than it should have cost at all.

*Too lazy to actually check what the price was. Point is, it jumped after dropping.

lisatsunami said:

May 7th, 5:21 pm

@OneMore, the post #’s are changing so “somebody’s” comment got unblocked, lol, I guess.
Anyway, yeah, those bonuses are buried in the game menu “peddler” option so so way to know until you buy it. It says “purchased” when I look.

@134 Corey? I saw the soundtrack for 9.99 when I browsed @ 2:30 Pacific time. I think it was way down the “all new for PS3” grid. Way down You always have to scroll past the Hyperdimension add-ons.

So um, I love the Fallout series and I own the Ultimate Edition of Fallout 3. No matter what, I always freeze when I attempt to start the Not of This World DLC. It would be nice if that could be patched. Even though, you know, the game is a couple years old now. Still, though… worth bringing up, now that the game’s DLC is lower in price.

MrBeatdown said:

@118 lisatsunami

Thanks for the help. Good suggestion on checking my settings. I looked around, and the option to require a password at checkout is on, but I haven’t changed it in years. I’ve always had it set so that when I actually spend money, my password is required, but free stuff that doesn’t require going through checkout has never required a password. Now I need a password for everything, even if I don’t go through the cart.

I don’t think the download issue is traffic-related. I haven’t been checking the store until late in the week lately anyway. The download just doesn’t even start like it should. I don’t even get an error. If I go to my download list, and start a download from there, it works just fine.
