The Drop: Week of May 13th 2013 New Releases

It is the year 2034. Beneath the ruins of post-apocalyptic Moscow, in the tunnels of the Metro, the remnants of mankind are besieged by deadly threats from outside – and within.

Mutants stalk the catacombs beneath the desolate surface, and hunt amidst the poisoned skies above. But rather than stand united, the station-cities of the Metro are locked in a struggle for the ultimate power, a doomsday device from the military vaults of D6. A civil war is stirring that could wipe humanity from the face of the earth forever. As Artyom, burdened by guilt but driven by hope, you hold the key to our survival – the last light in our darkest hour in Metro: Last Light on PSN and PS3 Blu-ray. Enjoy this week’s The Drop.

  • I know this isn’t entirely up to Sony but hey it may just motivate someone, somewhere to sort it out….

Where are the following for the classics range?

    -Brave Fencer Musashi
-Dark Cloud + Dark Cloud 2
    -Persona
    -Dot Hack Series

  • Now that DUST is “officially released”, will it be getting Trophies?? Or is that not allowed for F2P games…?

  • jetpack joyride is free and it has trophies on both vita and ps3

  • It’s good to see a healthy dose of PS Vita games coming out this is great, & i’ll definitely be playing some more Dust 514. Wish more developers do what they have done with the game & make MMO’s compatible with the PC players.

  • Almost forgot the Star Wars tables are also gonna be very fun, can’t wait to get them!!!!!!!

  • @100
    I totally agree with you

  • alright dust cant wait! PC x PS3
also we need a Psvita anime app i really want to watch perfectly on my vita

  • SpiritWarStudios

Any idea of when Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault will be heading to Vita? We don’t have that many weeks left of Spring.

  • Jacob Jones and the Bigfoot Mystery! Woo hoo!!! :D

  • PrimeroIncognito

    @ tusunami

Umm… didn’t you know you can get them now if you want? They’ve been available on Zen Pinball 2 for a while now.

ZP2 is a free download. $10 for the Star Wars pack. Then you can download the stand-alone version tomorrow at no extra charge if you want.

  • pleaseeee get the ps3 classic freguency

  • Seriously though, I really want Ratchet Deadlocked. It was supposed to come out November last year. Its been like half a year. Thats enough time to port the game a second time. Can you guys please give us just a little info, like “its coming out at the very end of spring” or at least something like “sorry guys not this week or the next” pretty please? :D

  • HAY ROCKSTAR thank you for manhunt but how about THE WARRIORS?

  • 108, maybe we get news on that this week, no promises and that means news on the other ratchet game. deadlocked hd

  • @87: The game came out well before the PS Vita was out. It’s just getting a PSN release now. Natsume is working pretty hard at getting their catalog on digital services.

I keep asking if we’ll see the series (or Harvest Moon) on PS Vita, and the only recent thing I got was “that’s a popular request.” So hopefully we’ll see HM or RF on Vita sometime in the future.

@102: I heard from the Frobisher Says developer that F2P used to (at least on Vita) not be able to have trophies, but Sony dropped that which is why that game (and Treasures of Motezuma Blitz) got trophies in patches . So there’s really no reason it shouldn’t get trophies.

I guess we’ll see. Maybe it’ll be like Free Realms, that’s free, but you can’t earn trophies unless you pay the subscription.

  • @66: First let me say, chill out dude. Secondly, no I didn’t pay $40 for FFA. I bought 2 of them, one for me and one for my brother. So $20 + $20=$40…….

  • furhervonfoster

I really wish they would bring Marc Ecko’s Getting Up!!!! That was one of my all time fave ps2 games! And They should bring back Full Spectrum Warrior and Ten Hammers! I wont those so bad!!!

  • Thanks for the update, and DUST looks sweet! It’s a shame that Manhunt and Manhunt 2 are not available in HD remastered collections as I would buy it up in a heartbeat! Manhunt series was my all time favs from PS2 next to the Siren series. Sadly though I already have the PS2 versions of the games and I have plenty of CECH-A01 PS3s to play them on in upscaled resolution so this digital release is pointless for me. The other games don’t interest me either. I hope DUST is incredible as I just finished my third play through of Demons Souls and received my Platinum Trophy in it. ;) Now THAT was a great game!

BTW When you guys say the PS4 is coming this holiday 2013, are you talking about summer break or winter break? I assume you guys mean Christmas time. :)

  • Any idea if we will ever get HD remaster of Deadlocked, and why it was NOT on the Ratchet and Clank HD Remasted edition BluRay disc? It could have easily fir on there. Perhaps you can get Insomniac to make another HD Remastered disc of R&C including Deadlocked, Secret Agent Clank, and Size Matters? That would be nice.
